My temp ban

I was 14 or 15 days temp ban for sending pm or trolling or doxxing. The reason could one of it according to the display that was showing at the top.

Yes, I have problem with Vod. No, did not send unsolicited message to anyone [the communication I have in private are with my regular bros]. Before the ban I shared an url which takes you to a webpage where people can find some public information about Vod which are obviously not pleasant to read for any civic person. However it does not seem I shared his personal information directly that was not exited in the web. Looks like sharing that url was the reason for my temp ban. Please correct me and help to remove my doubt.

If that part of information was the reason then how about sharing that part of information in the investigation section? To Theymos and moderators.

I guess reason of the ban is sending unsolicited PMs that in my opinion, is not decided like whether your PMs contain links, information about anyone with doxing attempts or not. If PM receivers dislike your PMs, consider your PMs as annoying, they can report those PMs to moderators and there is quite high chance that your account will be given a temporary ban.

I went back 4 months from now and can not find a single message that was without a legit discussion with any of my bros. So clearly sending PM is not the reason and if that was the reason then I deserve to know which PM it was. I find the communication were limited to only with 3 forum members.

Pretty obvious the reason for the ban. It has nothing to do with sending PMs. This is extremely petty behavior on your part and your "investigation" has nothing to do with anything. Has Vod scammed anybody on the forum or elsewhere? No, it appears not. As such, you should just give it a rest. Continuing on this feud is a pointless endeavor.

I hope you learned a lesson.

Yeah whoever reads this thread will be asking for a link like addicts ask for a fix. It is just like that Breaking Bad episode, Pinkman’s bros join a group where ex-addicts share their stories and those people became addicts again because pinkman’s guys were there to sell them drugs and tricked them into it.

Calm dow, some of you are becoming hyper active. I will most likely to agree with nutildah. It was not an investigation though. It was a report published sometimes in 2014, around 9 years ago from now.

I had a second thought when I created that topic but the investigation board is to raise a matter and find additional info. In this particular case, there are no info required, it was already there and I thought it was okay to post.

Anything that is not related to this forum should not be brought to this forum. Vod did nothing on this forum than protecting people against scam in this regard.

Some fights that have gone on publicly here are quite petty and make us all look bad.

If you disagree with someone very vehemently you have to tell yourself that not all actions are justified by your anger.

Block them, ignore them, don't post in their threads but trying to make their life harder in any way shape of form is a bit too much for an online forum.
You may say that goes both ways and that's a good discussion to have actually. But no need to make things worse either.

Sincerely I wonder how that keep happening over here while they aren't directly seeing each others as a matter of fact. I think had came across about their two which surprises me how two reputable members keeps having issues or beefing each others over here for no reason. As long as they aren't seeing each, neither having to drag anything here I don't see why the hatred should be that much. I guess the reason for his tempo ban was because of the link shared.

Sometimes not faceless.
When the grudge lasts for long, you know that they might know each other in person.
I have the strong feelings that Vod and Ognasty know each other in person because they keep mentioning legal actions outside this forum.
Obviously, I will not take a legal action against an anonymous forum user.

Your feelings are wrong.  I literally just correct the lies when I see them and then get attacked by him and those who use him to negatively effect my trust rating.  I wouldn't call this a feud.  I would call it harassment.  If he stopped spreading lies about me and abusing the trust network there would be no issue at all.  In fact, I blocked and ignored him several years ago so he doesn't even have to stop spreading the lies as I don't read them and if DT would act appropriately, his trust abuse wouldn't matter either and there would be nothing at all for me to even complain about.  So I would say I've done everything I can to stop the harassment and the reason this "feud" won't die is because Default Trust is being weaponized.  The blame for why this "feud" continues 100% falls on those perpetuating it in Default Trust.  There is nothing more I can do on my side to end it.

I am honestly glad that temporary bans are being handed out now and appreciate anything the forum does to try and end what is the most ridiculous and one-sided "feud" on this forum.

Um, yeah--I've been away for a few days and I guess I missed this substantial injection of drama, as I've no clue what link OP is referring to, nor did I realize there was a temp ban involved. 

So not having all the facts, I'm going to hope I'm safe in saying that BitcoinGirl.Club didn't get a permaban (though again I'm not even certain what the penalties have been in the past for doxxing).  But whatever the truth is, just realize that Vod is generally a very well-respected member of the forum, although a controversial one and certainly someone a lot of past and present members resent. 

Now I have to figure out what your beef is with him, OP.  Not for entertainment value or the drama as philipma1957 alluded to, but because I'm curious on a very personal level.

Always happy to share the facts and let people decide things for themselves.  I assume you fall into the unaware category, which is totally fine.  Not everyone should have to spend 14 years on this forum to figure out who can be trusted and who can't.  That is why Default Trust was created.  Unfortunately, it was taken over and now supports users who take part in things like doxxing and extortion.  I'd love to see it get fixed, but at this point I'd settle for not being constantly attacked, which is how the Default Trust network got overtaken by these types of individuals in the first place.  A strong leader is needed to fix this problem, and… hopefully this ban complaint is a sign that change is happening.

I agree with you, it is completely inappropriate that there are different opinions.
What do you suggest to solve this problem? Perhaps it would be ideal for you to arrange the DT list for everyone, the way you think is appropriate.

Sorry, but when we talk about my trust list, it is exclusively my choice. Perhaps there are several members here to whom I would find it appropriate to explain the reasons for the selection of a member. You ^OgNasty are not among those members.

Most often, this is an indirect attempt to influence someone to remove a certain member from the DT list or, even better, to add a tilde before the username.
