Turkey lost to Lithuania by a landslide on August 7th (70-91).
This time, they defeated Lithuania 84-81.

I didn't watch the entire match. When I did, we were playing well, even leading. I didn't watch because I thought we were going to lose anyway. I was surprised to hear the score later. This win gave me some hope for the European Championship. I think we'll at least make it through the group stage.

It was different Turkey than we saw few weeks ago. Then they were hust started preparation proccess and played without Larkin.
Turkey were leading most part of game, in the end Lithuania took a lead with a big run, but few stupid mistakes didn't let us to win.
It's difficult to play against Turkey with their height. Like having Sengun and Osmani on the court on the same time. Something what you don't see often nowadays.

Bad news for Bosnia-Herzegovina. Dzanan Musa will not join their team for the tournament, since his recovery from the surgery that he had in Munich will last longer than he and the doctors expected. Losing their most valuable player is a big blow and cuts their chances drastically for any good position.

It's big hit for Bosnia. Without Musa I'm not even surevthat they will get out of the group stage. Georgia will be big challenge for them.

Today I watched Germany - Spain game, one of last friendly games before Euroasket. Germany didn't had much troubles and got confident win. What I can say - Germany looks so complete. If 2 years ago when they won World Cup, it was very unexpected result, now it wouldn't anything surprising if they will take gold.
Greece - France friendly on Sunday is remaining and then Eurobasket opener on Wednesday.

Everyone wishes their home teams to be the winners but we all know that the reality is different. Turkey might have a great coach and a very good team, but it will be a tremendous surprise to win this tournament. Serbia has a lot of active NBA player including Jokic which is the best NBA player currently.

Serbia can rival US full roster so it’s easy to assume that they dominate the Eurobasket. France, Spain and Germany are the best contender for 2nd place for me.

What’s interesting on Euro league is they are much better now than the current NBA in terms of competition.

I think Türkiye has a good squad, but their defensive weaknesses were severe in the Montenegro match. They struggled to get defensive rebounds, but because their offensive power is strong and Montenegro's team isn't very high-quality, Turkey won, but they won't be able to do the same against Germany or Serbia.

The first match is against Latvia on Wednesday. I hope Türkiye wins, but Latvia is a strong team. Turkey will advance from the group, but I don't know how far they'll go. I don't think they'll win the championship.

It’s hard to happen, but not impossible, because we know the quality of both Luka and Giannis. We know that they can score 40+ points. I agree again, it’s difficult but possible. Serbia somehow looks to me now like team USA at the previous Olympic Games. When they were losing to Serbia by almost 20 points in the semifinals, and when Curry’s three-point shots weren’t falling, that’s when Durant stepped up to fix things and replace him in that role. That’s the example Serbia reminds me of if Jokic "falls short," then there’s Bogdanovic, and if Bogdanovic has a bad game, then there’s Micic, and vice versa. In any case, we’ll see, i’m hoping for a great tournament.
