So, in last day of group stage we have scenario where Spain can go home already after group stage. And it's quite likely scenario - ifthey will lose to Greece tonigh, tournament is over for them. Despite that Spain squad doesn't looks impressive after retirement of most of their legends, still I didn't expected that tournament will go so difficult for them.
While Georgia who beat Spain in 1st round today lost crucial game against Bosnia. And despite this loss they still have chance for 1/8 final - they need Greece win tonight. While Bosnia reached playoffs only 2nd time in their history. Not bad considering that they're without Musa

Spain was always a bad demon for Greece. Even if Spain misses a lot of players, they will still give their fight and it will be a hard match for Greece and Giannis. However, Greece wants to end up 1st in this group and face Israel and not France. I'm expecting a great tight game. Btw, Luca lost a historic triple-double by 1 assist, what a game he had!

Watching basketball is definitely more fun and exciting than football.
The Greece-Spain match is incredibly entertaining. Spain absolutely must win. Otherwise, they'll be eliminated from the tournament. If Spain wins, they'll finish second in their group.
Giannis plays in this match, but he's not very effective.
Dorsey's three-pointers provided the scoring for Greece.
Greece is the more dominant side, but it's difficult to predict the outcome.

I don't think the referees are making very balanced decisions in this tournament. Yesterday, Alperen made a gesture like "Look at the screen," and the referees immediately called a technical foul. In the Greece match, Greek players made a similar protest, but no technical foul was called.

From the upper side I'm expecting a Türkiye-Latvia or Türkiye-Greece semi final. It could be Greece because of Giannis' recovery. No matter what I believe in Türkiye to qualify for the final.

When it comes to the lower side my semi-finals prediction is Germany-Serbia. It is really difficult to predict the winner in such matchup. But I feel like Germany could be ahead now. Serbia feel the absence of Bogdanovic.

I watched the game from the jump ball to the final possession and was disappointed that Spain lost and was eliminated. I would have liked to have seen more of these two young players, De Larrea (20) and Supery (19), but it wouldn't be wrong to say that Spain lost to Italy and was eliminated from the tournament. Antetekoumpo was a major factor in Greece. When we look at the NBA, teams with good players are very good: Slovenia (Doncic), Turkey (Alperen), and Serbia (Jokic).
These players contribute greatly to their teams. Giannis made a significant contribution yesterday. He received very little rest and played most of the match.

And of course, we shouldn't forget Dorsey, the unsung hero of last night. It's a shame for Spain; the reigning champions were eliminated from the tournament with this defeat.

I agree that Spain is going through a generational change, but it has to be much better than this. Even if Spain had advanced, i don’t think they would have gone far in the round of 16, at least that’s how I see it.The NBA players are truly outstanding, and their class is obvious. Even if Spain had advanced, i don’t think they would have gone far in the round of 16, at least that’s how I see it.The NBA players are truly outstanding, and their class is obvious. Out of the 90 points scored by Greece, 25 were contributed by Giannis Antetokounmpo. It was tough for Spain to match his stature and experience, as they have a relatively young squad. Antetokounmpo contributed to 14 rebounds as well. Jaime Pradilla and Mario Saint-Supery were in good form during this match, but they can't be compared to an NBA giant like Antetokounmpo. Anyway let's not forget that Spain lost to Georgia last week, and that too by a big margin. This was some sort of an improvement from them.

Didn't Spain played with at least 2 very young guys in those clutch minutes? Kudos to them and kudos to the coach. But I couldn't believe how Juancho shot bricks. Was that a gambling thing? I don't like these conspiracies but when he shot that bad and missed all 3 free throws, I was like hmm something is fishy. Anyway, it was obvious from the beginning that Spain is not the old Spain but a tournament without them in the Last 16 is very unusual.

Group C was totally crazy. Greece could be at the no 1 spot at the end or no 5 spot in the group. Bosnia was the biggest surprise perhaps. But they played so good and passionate yesterday, they deserved it. The side on the bracket with Turkey and Greece seems slightly easier than the side with Ger, Srb, Fra but teams like Latvia and Lithuania can always go far in these tournaments.

I am not so sure about Latvia advancing. Lithuania always has been strong in basketball. Latvia rely too much on Porzingis; one player can not change or win whole game. Btw teams recently met in August with almost same rosters as now, and Lithuania won that game (but in overtime). Historically both Baltic states met a lot of time and in majority games Lithuania was a winner. According to group stage Lithuania are playing better.

Spain's free throws were a problem. If you shoot free throws with such a poor percentage, you're out of the tournament.
If Parra had taken three shots and made the first two and missed the last. If Aldama had made both free throws, they would have sent the game to overtime. Everyone, including me, remembered the free throws in the final moments, but they missed so many free throws during the game.
I felt bad for Spain, but they were out of the tournament because of their own mistakes.

I think Greece are still strong enough to make it to the semi-finals at worst.

It's hard to predict the winner of Lithuania v Latvia. Even though Latvia are favoured I don't expect it to be that easy. I think Greece are powerful enough to beat both of them as long as they have Giannis.

By the way I've done a check on the odds and I see Germany are slightly favoured against Serbia for the championship now. Türkiye follow right after.

The odds looks pretty fair, but I think Serbia is a stronger championship contender than Germany. They have more experienced team comparing to Germany.

As Lithuanian I see Latvia as big favorite. We're not same teams as we were in group stage. We don't have our key player Jokubaitis anymore and without him we only beat Sweden in last seconds. Another important defender Normantas is under question after ankle injury in last game. Also, our % from 3pt is terrible,
Don't agree completely that Latvia relies only on Porzingis. He is getting lot of help from Bertans, Smits and Lomazs - their roster is ballanced.
For me it's also very hard to predict outcome of Slovenia - Italy game.

Today's most competitive match will be between Lithuania and Latvia. I've seen a basketball nation like Lithuania struggle at times in group stage matches. They'll struggle in today's match. Perhaps Latvia could even make it to the quarterfinals. It wouldn't surprise me, because Latvia is a team on par with Lithuania.
I think Germany, Turkey, and Serbia will easily defeat their opponents and advance to the quarterfinals.

i cant wait to watch the game between Germany and Serbia. In anycase, that match (If everything goes according to plan) will be like a final match. i still insist that Serbia looks stronger on the paper and they have a Jokic factor.

We have seen that Turkey has been performing very well at the moment and they have enough players in their team.
