Eurobasket is over for us. Lot of emotions now, but in general we lost against stronger team. And Giannis wasn't even biggest problem today. We gave too much freedom for Toliopoulos who made few important 3-pointers. But main problem was our offence. Without Jokubaitis our offence was main. Also, we didn't had stretch four who would be dangerous at 3pt line what would be game changer.
Congrats to Greece, deserved.

Turkey continues its unbeaten run. Under Alperen Şengün's leadership, we're having a very good tournament, with all our players playing with great focus and passion.
Poland was good in the first quarter, but not bad, but Turkey was more controlled in the following quarters.
Alperen Şengün also became the youngest player in Euro Basket history to record a triple-double: 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. He's the only Turkish basketball player in tournament history to achieve this feat.

Triple double from Sengun, I think it's first ever Eurobasket where we saw already 2 triple doubles. And it's not over yet. In general, confident Turkey win, you controlled whole game, despite Poland doing their best.
Now there is derby between Greece and Turkey in semifinal. Should be hot.

Giannis alone is half of Greece’s team. I agree that it will be a tough match, but i don’t think the Turks should worry. You have a lot of good players, and Sengun stands out, but not in a way that he can carry the whole team. You rely on team play, which many teams don’t have, since they depend on individuals. For example, Giannis, Docic, Jokic, and others. Jokic was basically the whole Serbian team, and he couldn’t carry so many games by himself. One bad game from Giannis, and Greece is in trouble. I don’t have a favorite since Serbia got eliminated, but i think Turkey has the best players and can win the tournament.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up contending for the championship, especially after knocking out tournament favorite Serbia. Against Greece, their chances look promising, if Turkey can contain Giannis and limit his impact, they stand a strong chance of winning. Their offense is well-balanced and doesn’t rely heavily on just one or two players, which gives them flexibility and depth on the court.

When Greece fell behind 7-0 at the start of the match, I thought it would be a tough match for them, but Giannis stepped up again.
In that match, Giannis was joined by Toliopouos in scoring, and Greece won and advanced to Türkiye in the semifinals.
Valanciunas was the most productive scorer in Lithuania, but being left alone in that position made defeat inevitable.
If one player had contributed more points, Lithuania would have made the semifinals.
We'll be watching Giannis and Alperen duel in the Turkey-Greece match. Whichever team takes precautions against these players will advance to the final. I hope it's Türkiye.

If Slovenia and Doncic are stopped, Germany will advance to the semifinals. Germany's task is truly difficult, but Slovenia's task is even more difficult. With Wagner and Schröder, Germany are the overwhelming favorites in this match. I believe Germany is the smallest team currently playing. Of course, I'm rooting for Turkey to win the cup, but to be honest, Germany will be hard to stop. We went toe-to-toe with them in the friendly. We'll see how we fare against Greece in the semifinals. If we can stop Giannis, we can win the match and advance to the final.

Turkey is currently one of the best defensive teams in the tournament. We're fortunate in this regard because we can use this strength against Greece. We have players who can control the game without Alperen, but Greece will struggle without Giannis. If we can defend Giannis well, we can reach the final. My bad—turns out it was Finland that knocked out Serbia in the Round of 16. Anyway, I’m placing a bet on Turkey against Greece, because as I mentioned earlier, Turkey is the more balanced team. If Giannis has an off night, Greece will struggle to overcome Turkey’s depth and team-oriented offense.

Lithuania occasionally put pressure on Greece, but except for the beginning, they never took the lead. Lithuania's scoring distribution wasn't very good.
Turkey is playing very good defense and needs to defend Giannis well. Adem Bona will have a big role to play in this. Greece has built their game plan around Giannis. Ergin Ataman must be aware of this and will take action accordingly.
Ercan Osmani is also a good defensive player. Yesterday, Turkey defended Jordan Loyd well, and Türkiye won the match.

Yep , today is a very tricky game and Finalnd should in theory win but Georgia really played solid so far and I think we are in for a very tight basketball game.

Therefore, it's clear that both teams have a strong chance of winning. The team on the right track will win. Currently, Finland appears to be ahead due to the crowd support and the advantage on paper, but as you know, no one gave Finland a chance in the Serbia match either. Therefore, it's not fair to say for sure; we'll see who wins depending on the course of the match.

Finland performed a well balanced and consistent basketball compared to Serbia that only Jokic and Jovic contributing on the game. Markannen on Finland is very sensational and very hard to guard due to his versatility.

I believe Finland and Greece is now the best contender for the finals as they are both have the most sensational player and on momentum.

Slovenia and Germany are strong too but Finland and Greece is more impactful based on their recent matches.

Germany are certain favourites like 1.12 vs 6.00 odds. Do you expect an upset by Slovenia? They don't face Italy this time. Germany are the most powerful team among the remaining. Even if Doncic plays the same their job will still be very difficult...

I'm not so sure about Türkiye. The last match against Sweden scared me. I wouldn't be surprised if we were eliminated today.

Thankfully we didn't mess up.    At a point Poland managed to bring it down to a gap of less than 10 points but still we won by a decent score. Now I hope we manage to beat Greece also this Friday. It's going to be a really competitive one.

The site I use to bet on offers a 5.27 odds for a Slovenia win, so I took a risk and bet on a Slovenia win.
I couldn't see Germany being any better than Slovenia. Germany has Shöreder, but Slovenia has Doncic.
I watch Germany play against Portugal and saw a very poor Germany.
I don't think they'll be that strong a favorite in this match.
The odds for Slovenia were very attractive to me, so I placed my bet. I don't know if the risk I'm taking will pay off.
