Its quite unfortunate, that the law are only there for the poor, see how they are too quick to get the judgement over night but they are important cases still pending in court, they could not let her get her lawyer to defend herself. We are living in hell in this country called Nigeria, the politicians that Efcc declared wanted for stealing huge some of money are still moving around freely without penalty for their crime.

To live in Nigeria as poor man pikin is to avoid police and government wahala, focus on your little business and pray you have money to leave this country some day. secondly the Comfort Emmanson has a character issue, she should have obeyed by switching of her phone. But she refused, and she was disgraced, this is a big lesson other girls. Always dress properly, never can tell what will happen next. Comfort Emmanson never knew her breast will be in public yesterday as a result of indecent dressing.

Other officials were taking it politely with her but she continued to do as if nothing will happen and they change it for her. I was even thinking maybe the woman is mad already or on drug or something. I just do not know.

What I read about the case yesterday was that she has been banned from air flight. So she will not be able to travel through the air. I think if she apologize, the ban may be lifted.

I saw the video of what happened and I was more disgusted on how is was striped naked by the air hostress. I knew what she did was wrong, but I think the air hostress was also at fault,  because there was a part of the video where Comfort was telling the air hostress to leave the door way for her to get out if the plane and she refused  and she is also the same lady that tore her cloth and exposed her nakedness.
Talking about the quick judgement passed on her case, it really bad for the nation, because Kwam1 the famous musician tried to stop a plane from taking off and he was on banned for 6 months and this poor lady has been banned for life. That's really bad and also the airport official that leaked the video has to be punished too.

I saw the video of what happened and I was more disgusted on how is was striped naked by the air hostress.

And nothing happened to the air hostress? That is not possible. The girl had issue with another passenger. Maybe the air hostress did not favour her or maybe she decided to be rude to the air hostress. See how the girl behaved stupidly like someone that did not have manners in the public.

From their look, you will notice the air hostress will be far older than her. This Gen Z ehn. Wonder shall never end.

this is an issue of poor crisis management system being practice on the part of Ibom Air and an unruely attitude by the average girl on the street that feels that they can do anything to anyone and still goes scot free. just a single clip on the incident doesnt give full detail of the actual thing that actually happened but looking at multiple clip that shows how rude the passanger behaved even when they tried calming her down, you just know that she deserves what she got.

the big question is then, if it was a white man that boarded same flight and refused putting off his phone, would he have recieved same treatment like what was mated on this girl? will the justice system that was implemented on this girl been same with that man? this still tells of the difference between the classes in our society and how we treat certain classes poorly and are quick to judge people we feel dont have the means of standing up for themselves.

If the girl calm down after slapping the air hostress, it would have been better. Maybe she might have even calm down and even beg the air hostress because I know what anger can cause. Yeah that was what happen, she was resisting so along the process of forceful pulling, her top got stuck to the  side of the entrance and since it was short(the top)  I think it tore making the situation  worse for her because the video was revealed  publicly. When issues like this happen people behind the whole situation might just cut every story short meanwhile I have no opinion concerning this issue until the Victim comes out to speak for herself. I’m seeing a lot of accusation from both parties including police arrest and all that, sorry to say most flight hostess are not even trained nowadays (professional). About the situation the victim over reacted yet some people lack a proper speaking skill which might have result to this situation, a simple manner of approach might help not minding the age difference. After watching everything although the full video is not available but, dragging a lady at that state is totally wrong, if you should watch carefully the hostess pulled her shirt backward which led to her being half naked yet if they wanted to post the video to the public in a proper manner why not blur her body, both parties are wrong so I see no reason why the flight attendants wants to act innocent.

Ibom Air was quick to use its money, power and connection to humiliate that lady when it was also clear that they were guilty of unprofessionalism and harassment. I hope the airline is slammed with a hefty fine and compensation for the lady.

Either way, it's relieving that the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has weighed in and has reduced all punishments meted out to the lady to a 1-month ban only.

I think the girl was cheated. But I am surprised that she was unable to switch off her phone. The air hostess may think she is lying or she using them to joke. But that is unprofessionalism in reality.

Thank you for the correction about the 1-month ban. Though I knew about KWAM 1's 1-month reduction, the lady's own was also mentioned in the news outlet I checked. That is the result of following certain news outlets...lol. I later went to Festus Keyamo X's page, though he truly waded in on her life ban issue, the resolution will be conveyed later.

No one really knows the truth about the Ibom air case however from the video I saw online it was totally wrong for them to drag that girl like that they naked her already because her breast was showing in the video, one thing I observe is that Ibom air has poor management even if someone is not obeying your flight rules and regulations why not just order her to come down if she refuses then you guys should call the airport security for her and work her down.
I heard they arrested the girl for assaulting the Ibom air staff but there was no evidence of that, however there was evidence of them assaulting the girl and they still arrested the girl but I heard the girl is out of the police custody which is a very good one, I will advise the girl to sue for assault since she has evidence of a video coverage when they where dragging her and her breast was exposed.
I wish we had a very good system that case would have been investigated very well to know what really happened.

I don't know what's with Airbom airlines but I've used multiple airlines and not for once I've asked to switch off my phone, you're only advised to put it on airplane mode that's all. The switch off thing is new to me and no aircraft has crashed due to phone being on in anywhere of the world.

But again we must respect the protocols and rules of wherever we found ourselves or we go somewhere else. That lady was on some sort of drugs or something, those reactions wasn't normal.
