I don’t like BBNaija either, but that doesn’t mean it should be eradicated. My suggestion is that it should not be banned, but rather restricted to certain viewers. Anyone who wishes to add BBNaija to their DStv or GOtv package should be required to pay extra, or even double the amount for the channel, to discourage casual or unrestricted viewing.
Why it should not be banned is because it create job opportunities. Besides the people directly involved, there are others who supply food and beverages, engineers, analysts, and more. The program also generates revenue for the government.
In my opinion, BBNaija should not be banned, but it should be regulated. Sexual content should not be disclosed freely. There should be certain criteria for viewers, and clear guidelines for selecting participants.
Additionally, there should be designated periods for moral and educational segments within the program, such as lessons on cooking, respecting elders, communication skills, and practical skills like fixing things.
This is my view: instead of banning BBNaija, it should be properly regulated and structured.
