Well I think the most important thing in gambling is the winning, once your betting slip is green there is nothing to  worry about the time and the rest because is pretty obvious that they would definitely going to credit your account. Gamblers are pretending as if they have never seen similar delays from crypto exchanges before, to my own point of view it's similar, sometimes faster and sometimes slower but this slow part isn't even up to an hour.

If your wins is suspicious the casino might decide to take their time, to make sure that you are not defrauding their systems, this is normal and expected, just give them the time they need, so far you get your money no problem.

I want an instant payout if possible(I'm sure the majority of gamblers would want that too), but if not, at least several hours. also, it shouldn't take a day for a payout to be processed unless they are investigating something but hten again, it is possible that they are just using those to delay payments.

You are absolutely right about what you've said, casinos that don't pay on time doesn't give me confidence either, and I always have exactly the same feeling like you usually have, which is being afraid that they won't be able to pay when I win a huge sum of money.

But then, the part I do not agree with is the downside of fast payment from the casino, as a matter of fact, I do not think there are any downside of casinos paying out instantly when a withdrawal request comes to their table, delaying the processing of withdrawal request carries with it a higher downside because after waiting for a moment without the withdrawal coming through, the gambler might end up being tempted to cancel the withdrawal request and continue gambling with the money, which most times never ends well as the gambler may end up losing the money back to the casino, and this is what most casinos want anyway 🤑

The biggest winning amount I've ever won at a casino is just over $100, and it's never happened again, although I win sometimes but it seems like the biggest is only $20, because you know that most of the time I always lose.

The casinos I tried processed withdrawals very quickly, it only took a few minutes, which I think is very fast. If I had to wait an hour or more, it would make me nervous, but it would not be a reason for me to want to switch casinos. 15 minutes is too long, let alone 3 hours. It should be under 1 minute, or even just a matter of seconds, especially if the casino claims their withdrawal system is instant.
In my experience, big casinos usually take more than 1 minute, but not more than 5 minutes unless they need to be extra certain.

I've had a comfortable experience with a casino with excellent service, including fast withdrawal and deposit processes. However, one thing happened: I withdrew a large win. Initially  everything went smoothly, but on the second withdrawal, I waited over an hour even attempting to do other things to avoid the wait. This made me uneasy because of the slowness of the second withdrawal. I even asked the customer service team several times.

I've never witnessed slow withdrawal in a casino before, maybe the casinos I've been patronizing have automated withdrawals. If casinos use manual processes, then there may be delays or even rejected withdrawals. I always get my winning almost immediately and it has always arrive in my account safely.  I believe that everyone would prefer to get winnings untime if not even immediately and also safety of the money in your account. I think this is the most important thing to every gambler out there. Gamblers tends to patronize this casinos or betting companies that are prompt in there payout.
