Even with ventilation, the temperature will still rise if it is running continuously. This is similar to playing with your mobile phone in an air-conditioned room; the temperature will still increase after a long period of use.
Are you saying that if you spend a long time with your phone in an air-conditioned room, its temperature will rise?
Ventilation is needed to cool the ASICs with cold air from outside, which is why the temperature of the ASIC chips should remain virtually constant during operation.
Yes, that's the case with my iPhone. If I'm constantly playing games on it, it'll heat up even in an air-conditioned room.

The premise for proper ventilation is that the ambient temperature shouldn't be too high. If the temperature is too high, even without cooling accessories, it's useless.

A very important point: Smartphones are not designed for constant gaming and the iPhone will overheat.
ASICs are designed to work 24/7/365 with proper maintenance, so it is not entirely correct to compare a phone with an ASIC.If you make ventilation in the desert, where the temperature reaches 50-60 degrees, then there will be problems with ventilation Smiley

What's the most common issue you encounter when using Antminer? Huh
My biggest headache is what if I buy an Antminer and it has a defect? That's why I've always been picking GPU over ASIC miners because I know that when I buy from Nvidia or AMD, it's gonna be a high-quality product, while I don't have the same sense for Bitmain. The problem is that if the miner that I bought from China has a defect and I have to return it back, I'll have to pay hundreds of dollars for shipping from my country to China, which isn't worth it for me. Buying from a local market is a bad idea because they sell antminers at double the price.

You mentioned the most basic rule for a miner. You don't need to buy something that you can't repair in your country.
First, you need to find a good service and find out the repair prices to calculate the risks. I know that official service centers have their own rules: if 4-5 chips burn out on the board, they change them; if more, the equipment can be sent to China, and that takes a very long time.

Does Bitmain have a repair centres in countries outside of China? Or are there craftsman that work on repairing damaged ASIC miners? Btw the fact that I can't repair miner in my country wouldn't be a huge issue for me if postal services were cheap here. I can cheaply receive miner in my country but sending them back is a nightmare. It literally costs you a kidney to send something in the USA too. I paid $100 to send a paper in the USA but pay $10 to receive 1 kilogram from the USA. Yeah, postal services are messed up here.
I wish GPU mining was as profitable as it was in 2016.

Based on information I gathered from a short video from a YouTuber, I saw and heard that he successfully recovered his Bitmain Antminer S21, which he had previously found it broken, then he used a repair service in the US (specifically in Delaware). He only had to pay 20 bucks, or $20, as he is located on the east coast in Virginia, making the repair process relatively quick and inexpensive. Essentially, he mentioned that his repair center is in Delaware, so I think this might be helpful. By the way, the video was made last year, so you might want to check back for its existence, and I don't really understand it out there because I live in a country that is very far from it.

I know that in Russia there are 7-8 official service centers, and this information is on the official website. You can easily find this information for your country. But you need to understand that these service centers do not fix all the problems, sometimes they send equipment to China, but at their own expense.

$20 for ASIC repair in the USA? That's the money they charge for simply removing a battery on a smartphone in my country, where the average salary is $500 per month. Btw I Googled Bitmain's repair service centre and I today discovered that Bitmain has lots of official repair centres around the world - https://m.bitmain.com/support/maintenanceOutlets?module=global
They have repair centres in Finland, the Netherlands, the USA, Kazakhstan, the UAE, China, Laos, Paraguay, Canada and Ethiopia. It was a huge surprise for me to see Laos and Paraguay in the list because, as far as I know, these are very poor countries and I haven't heard these countries mining a lot but I might be wrong.

I know that in Russia there are 7-8 official service centers, and this information is on the official website.
I couldn't find Russia in the list.

Mining with an Antminer is quite efficient in terms of hash rate. However, the S19 model consistently overheats. The device has occasionally slowed down and then shut down. I don't know if it's just me, or if others have experienced it too, but the fan noise is quite loud. It's probably not recommended if you're mining in a densely populated area or if you have children, as it can be quite distracting. Regular cleaning is also necessary, as dust often accumulates, which can cause short circuits if it blocks airflow.

So, proper management is crucial, as repair costs and downtime can reduce profits. If you want to use an Antminer, it's best to prepare a dedicated room with good cooling and a UPS to ensure a stable power supply.
