And you thought draftees and potential draftees in Ukraine and Russia were the only ones who are trying to escape their country. After reading the below article, just think if there were a military draft in Britain what it would be like.

British People Have Had Enough...

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/british-people-have-had-enough
In a striking display of public discontent, close to 750,000 people at time of writing have signed an official parliamentary petition demanding an immediate general election in the UK.

Titled "Call an immediate general election," the petition argues that the public seeks urgent change from the current Labour government, which won power just over a year ago in July 2024.

Under UK rules, any petition surpassing 100,000 signatures triggers consideration for a parliamentary debate, a threshold this one has far exceeded—it has also prompted a government response, with a debate now pending.

UPDATE‼️715,000 people have now signed a petition calling for an emergency General Election.

Parliament considers all petitions that get more than 100,000 signatures for a debate.

People have had enough.🇬🇧

You are aware the UK has 67 million people? I mean, 750k want an election and 66.25 million don't?

These are some other of the popular initiatives that got enough signatures to get to a debate:

Quote
Ban driven grouse shooting
Introduce a compensation scheme for WASPI women
Apply for the UK to join the European Union as a full member as soon as possible
Prohibit publishers irrevocably disabling video games they have already sold
Allow parents to take their children out of school for up to 10 days fine free.
Introduce Statutory Menstrual Leave for People with Endometriosis & Adenomyosis
...

And... curiously, "call a general election" debated already in January.  Grin Grin

How the brits fell about Starmer is not a secret, the current government is very unpopular, as their measures have displeased both the left and the right - mostly because many of them are a compromise. However, the previous Tory governments were shambolic, so at least there is someone actually governing... I guess that is good for the Uk.

i in younger years was a labour supporter, i detested the tories.. but something switched..
labour used to care about the little guys, and tories used to care only about the corporations

but when boris took over tories, he done something different than the normal tory campaign
(rishi sunak was just a temporary outlier in the mix)
and when starmer took over labour he done something different than the normal labour campaign
its like they switched radicalisations. left went right and right went left

labour only won because starmer wore old tory clothing, so the native tories chose starmer to get away from boris's version
..

starmer is suppose to represent the people, but even with his first acts in government he was saying he would do undesirable things that his constituents wont like but in his eyes needed to be done..
.. going against the will of the people and do undesirable things is not what we elect people for

..
the only issue with doing a snap election right now is that the public dont really know what is on offer by the opposites of labour..
many dont even know who the new leader of conservatives is (its Kemi Badenoch by the way)

no one knows much about Kemi Badenoch to know what she is about, what she is willing to pledge to

Socialism never works, it’s always about spending somebody else’s money. I think Labour is the US equivalent of the Democrats. They try to appease immigrants, they want high taxes & try to please public sector workers. They are not interested in growth, they want everybody to be poor. There is no incentive for entrepreneurs, no target to push people to succeed. I don’t know how these people get into power. It’s sad but I already read a story that lots of millionaires are leaving the UK, it is not the great country it once was, like much of Europe it is being poisoned by immigration.

Do it again, do it again, we like it, we like it.

Cool

Again... well, it would be repetitive, so I will do something a bit different:

See the one at the bottom. Why don't you now "do it again" yourself and post "what the US citizens really think about Trump"?

This is no secret, the popularity of this semi-senile ball or yellow hair and orange skin is sinking day by day, simply because his politics is shambolic as it gets.

"COVID exposed how easily freedoms can be suspended, and now the fallout—economic decline, political betrayal, and manipulated division—is erupting in the streets. The establishment response isn't unity but censorship, authoritarian laws, and the criminalization of dissent. Unless real decentralization and community power take root, Britain faces unrest, repression, and the slow implosion of a once-united nation."
