Trump's Deal with Conscience

Meeting in Alaska

US President Donald Trump is known as a man of deals. As a businessman, Trump, by the nature of his work, was engaged in arranging deals, not always successful, however, because in every deal there is always a share of risk that each businessman takes on himself. Trump, having become president, transferred his experience as a businessman to the sphere of politics, but there is a very significant difference here, because it is one thing to risk your well-being - another thing to risk the country, its people. True, the president can appeal to the fact that the American people chose him and in this perspective let the people themselves bear responsibility. In other words, this is not Trump's problem, but America's problem. (1) In principle, this is so!

It is hard to imagine that Churchill and Roosevelt could shake hands with Hitler, who was responsible for the millions of victims of the war he unleashed. Today, the American people should be ashamed that their president shook hands with the universally recognized kidnapper, murderer and world-class liar Putin. (2,3) I believe Trump is not familiar with Goethe's Faust, otherwise he would know that making a deal with Conscience is a hopeless business. Businessman Trump does not know that Conscience is the substance that will present the final bill before going into oblivion, decide to leave a good memory or consign to oblivion. Trump dreams of the Nobel Peace Prize, but I do not think that the Nobel Committee will make a Peace Prize laureate a man who shook hands with a murderer. How can such an act look in front of people tortured in Bucha, poisoned with Novichok, buried under the arches of the theater in Mariupol? Trump would hardly have shaken hands with Putin if a person close to him had been among these victims.

Surely Trump meeting Putin in Alaska and shaking hand with him is a kick in the mouth to those who have lose family members and friends because of the war, which was started by Putin. But those thing are not in the mind of the Trump administration, Trump just wants to end the war as soon as possible, because he wants to be seen as a peacemaker, for the sake of political points in his country, ahead of the midterm elections, which will eventually come and could hurt the Republican party.

Needless to say, Trump is far from being the western political heros of the world war two, he does not care much about ideology, he just wants power and money. He will shake his hand with whoever he needs to, in order to get it all for him and his family.

Trump will not succeed, he initially put a shameless Putin on himself and that is his mistake. Everyone is already laughing at Trump as a buffoon.
