That is a pretty old and budget solution, it may be the source of the problem. In any case you will reap some benefits from upgrading your router. I think that this model has not been updated in a long time unless the quick research that I did produced incorrect results. That itself is not a good sign. If you are not familiar with routers, I guess members here could help you pick depending on what is available. Just don't spend too much money, they can be quite expensive and have features which are important for you.
How are you connecting to your local ISP guy? Wired or wirelessly?
Actually many routers even support three bands now, and some even have band merging so you won't see 3 separate networks! 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz.
I googled a bit, asked chatGPT, and according to them this particular model was released in 2015. Lol, I think I have been using a 10 year old crap!
Wired connection mate! We don't have StarLink or satellite here, LOL.

Wait what when did that happened? I have only seen duel band (2.4, 5 GHz) here at my place, even that it new to many people.
This may seem funny, but sometimes when I'm facing issues with the speed, like damn slow as you described, I would just power on off my router a couple of times. And many times it worked..

Back in the days when I had the crappy router, that was indeed be the first thing my ISP would tell me. At some point they even told me to regularly power cycle the damn thing, so "it wouldn't get full".
Your current hardware specs explain why Bitcoin Core is more demanding than your potato system. I notice my 16 GB is the bottleneck now, you won't have that problem.
For what it's worth: it's literally what Bitcoin Core warns you about when you first start it up:
The initial synchronisation is very demanding, and may expose hardware problems with your computer that had previously gone unnoticed.
I've seen many topics that relate to just hardware problems over the years.
Yup, I had a mess up recently, so I'm re-syncing everything from the start. So it might be one of those cases.

Note that, back in the days (1 year ago), when I ran the Bitcoin core using my potato laptop with the same shitty router, I never encountered this issue.
I'll let you guys know after 100% sync, whether this problems remains or not! Btw, it's still "
jamming" everything when I run it.
