Creating an active subreddit for your own exchange is a good suggestion, similar to creating an ANN here.

An active subreddit is a good way to attract new customers to ask questions and become more confident about the service being discussed there.

Talking about features offered by the exchange in communities that are relevant can certainly be useful. For example, I'm somehow sure that people from r/Monero will be interested to hear about the new no-KYC possibility of XMR swap.

There is no pressure to participate in the Beta Test.
Based on the bug reports we have received, we have decided to launch Beta Test Phase Two, as we need more time to double-check everything and ensure the exchange is safe for users.
As a result, the exchange release will be postponed until October 2025. Phase Two of testing will begin in September, and full details will be shared soon, after we finish distributing rewards to active testers and fixing the current backlog of bugs.

I know I was just clarifyingto Fiasem20 that he is not saying he is being forced and he can't join. I realized he must be sharing that because he might not have the time, but with phase two anyone can join again, and I am sure this time the participants will be more because of the attractive rewards, but bugs will be fewer as most of them are already reported.

Well, it was easy to find a bug at early stages but since most of the bugs are already identified, finding more won't be easy but i appreciate the thought process of the Bridgoro Exchange team. They want to continue this activity and there is always a chance that someone still may find a critical bug and it will further help improve their services.
I hardly find any project other than Bridgoro Exchange that focuses too much on beta testing before the actual launch.

Reddit is popular platform just like Bitcointalk,so it's a nice platform you can advertise and promote your project.I really don't know much about how a project is been promoted there.I wish you a successful promotion on your new move.

We've checked that offer and didn't see any incoming transaction to the buffer wallet from your side.
You can verify this yourself by opening the Deposit Timeout deal in the My Deals page and clicking magnifying glass icon (next to the copy button in the address field).
It looks like the status was changed to Deposit Timeout because no funds were received in the buffer wallet.

If you are sure you deposited test BTC, please send us the TXID of your transaction so we can investigate the issue.

I am 100% sure I sent transactions with testnet4 and it was confirmed on the blockchain, and I saved all the proof.
Only thing I could think of if something related with testnet ethereum addresses, since they have Sepolia, Holesky and maybe few more testnet chains.

Maybe you could try getting more attention for next beta testing with social media like twitter.
For reddit maybe you should hire some manager to help you with campaign.

I am 100% sure I sent transactions with testnet4 and it was confirmed on the blockchain

Been there, done that:

I deposit 0.01 (testnet4 to be clear), it keeps counting down from 60 minutes to zero.

But:

I'm starting to think you're mixing up testnet3 and testnet4: your Beta guide linked to several testnet4 faucets, which made me think that's what you're using, but other parts of the guide make it look like you're using the old testnet. You should probably use the most recent version, which is much easier to get.

We are using BTC Testnet v3.

I sent Bitcoin testnet4 for Bridgoro exchange and I didn't know testnet3 was still active
All faucets I used to get free testnet coins also had only testne4 coins, and I didn't notice any mention about this in best test ANN or in bridgoro.gitbook page.

2. Let's say there's a Not Fixed ("Flexible") offer to exchange $50 worth of A into B. What happens if someone takes the offer for $45 and the remainder gets under the minimum (or could even reach the dust limit)?

Both offers will exist on Bridgoro. As already described, our escrow buffer wallets ensure security: when activating an exchange offer, the user must enter the receiving address and send the exchanging asset directly to the buffer wallet.

2. Let's say there's a Not Fixed ("Flexible") offer to exchange $50 worth of A into B. What happens if someone takes the offer for $45 and the remainder gets under the minimum (or could even reach the dust limit)?

For Flexible Offers, the amount can't go below the Dead Wallet Amount.

For example:
If the total offer is $100
And the buyer wants to exchange $95
But the Dead Wallet Amount is set to $10
Then the system will prevent the transaction with a popup message, stating that the user must either take the full $100 or a maximum of $89.

The faucet requires registration, and the account must be >24 hours old.  Then they are good to rock n roll.  (First 24 hours is v4 testnet only)

They can withdraw to y'all no problems though.

Hey Bitcointalk community!

We are back with some updates.
First of all, apologies for the recent silence as we've been busy fixing bugs. The backend patch related to dead wallet amounts and dust transactions took more time than expected (backend patch will be deployed this week when we finish tests on our test server).
Also, we allowed ourselves a short 3-day break to attend the F1 in Baku.

By the end of this week, we expect to be ready to announce the second phase of Beta Testing on Reddit, once we finalize the most suitable subreddit. At the moment, r/Monero seems open to the idea (based on user reactions), but we still haven't received an official response from the mods/admins.
The final subreddit is therefore still under consideration.

If anyone here knows moderators or admins of the following subreddits, your help would be greatly appreciated:

• r/cryptocurrency
• r/monero
• r/cryptomoonshots
• r/p2p
• If you know of other subreddits that might be a better fit, please suggest them as well.

Details of the 2nd Beta Test will be published here in both the [ANN] and [BOUNTY] threads. We warmly invite all of you to join as this Bitcointalk community was the first to support us, and we would love to continue this journey together.
This time we managed to allocate a bit bigger reward pool ($1,500 in BTC)

Unfortunately, this is a reaction



Things like that would typically start with an older Reddit account that has some karma points.
It is probably better to start from your own r/bridgoro than as a newbie u/user

Bans are usually quick for a newbie account that violates the terms of use.

I think they have a funding issue, but marketing needs spending before they can raise money to fund it.
Therefore, regardless of the cost, hiring community member is essential, in addition to providing sufficient liquidity for the service.
