I want to get a signed armory transaction broadcast to the network. I have the file in a *.tx file format.
Before sending it, the destination address will need to be verified. Because I probably don't have control over that address anymore, I will need to plan to change it to a new BTC address.
In case you need to check the file format, the file name is armory_7......J_.signed.tx. It's encoded in the armory encoding. It's not in HEX. It contains characters that are upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and special chars. Here's the header

=====TXSIGCOLLECT-7......J======================================

Is it possible to convert this file to a HEX format without armory and then broadcast it to the network?

I don't think there's a tool or way to convert the transaction file generated from Armory into a hex or raw text file. I never saw someone successfully extracting the HEX or raw text from armory.signed.tx.

There's a old discussion about this and talks about through python you can extract the raw/hex of the transaction un/signed.tx
Check this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56424.1220 you might get some idea.

Why not use Armory offline instead? If you don't want to be fully synced, it should work just fine and take the raw/hex text in advanced mode?

Thank you for the information. I don't do any coding personally, so I might not be the right person to use the python script to do anything.

I don't know what you mean about

take the raw/hex text
I don't see options available to do that in armory advanced mode.

I already have a signed transaction. I need to review the details, especially the destination address. I might have to change the destination address. At that point, maybe I can try to broadcast it to the network.

You can extract a signed transaction into the hex format Core RPC would accept, from the "Review Transaction" dialog.
