What factors contribute to varying scam rates across different countries?

I have been having this particular thought on my head for a very long time now why scam rates are high in some countries, but low in other countries. Normally As we all know scam is a global phenomenon, no country is exempted when it comes to scam activities and people who you can see in various countries carrying out scam activities are the youths. So I we like us to discuss about this, let's  share our thoughts on this matter.

And Here is the question what due you guys think concerning the countries with high rates of scam activities?  Can this three factors be the reason for the high rates of scam activities in those countries:
* Is it that the government of those countries have failed to provide enough jobs for their citizens making them unemployed which have led them into doing frauds in other to make a living for themselves.

* or the citizens of those countries, especially the young ones are just lazy to work which have made them to see scam as the easiest job.

* or the parents are to be blamed because of their in ability to provide for their children which have led them into doing fraud.

It simply depends on the IQ of the scammers, and how much money they make with their scams.

I don't know the causes of high scam activities in other countries, but based on my experience in my own country, the key factor is the government's failure to provide enough jobs for citizens. Financial struggles have pushed many youths to seek for alternative means of income, which the majority of the youth turned to scam activities. This has become uncontrollable for the government, because youths are no longer interested in government work due to the lucrative nature of scam activities. The other two factors are also the causes that contribute to the high rate of scams because there are youths who are just too lazy to work hard to earn themselves but perceive other people's wealth as the easiest method to make their life.

This three factors that you listed out are the cause of scam activities in different countries, if you check the list of countries that are actively into scam activity is either their government has failed them or there parents in that country are not responsible enough to take care of the children or the youth or people in that country are just too lazy to work for their money so they see scam as a very easy and soft way of making money, however no matter the condition whether your government has failed you people, all your parents are not responsible enough to take care of you people that does not give you the right to scam other people it is very bad because you are causing them pain and some die because of the scam, in that country or in that situation you are there are people who have made it genuinely without scamming other people so if they can do it you too can do it, say no to scam.

I would also add another factor which contributes to young people getting involved with scams: the lack of accountability for those who commit financial crimes. It is a manner of fact when those who start committing crimes get away with it, then others start to see crime as an attractive way to get money, as there are no perceived consequences in the short term for those who steal money from others. Rich countries in the west have serious departments which try to enforce laws against those cybernetic crimes, and often out those thieves behind bars, for scamming thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars from people, that is something we do not see in developing countries, because the government do not have the budget to build and keep those departments.

Whether a country has financial crisis or not, there are still people who will be comfortable scamming people. It never changes. Many are dumb, while few are victims by mistakes so its going to still exist no matter the country, religion, and type of society. Naturally, the reason why people scam stems from greed, and the inability to be contented with what they have. There is no right word to justify why people go about scamming but they ought to do so, if they want to meet their needs.

the factors you have outlined are part of the cause of involvement with scam but a major factor is greed among youths which cause them to try to make it at all cost. every nation has it own isssue of negative vices among youths who are the ones that are usally involved in crime related activities, the only difference between a nation that has taken it to another level and one that does not have it that much is that the government on their own part are ensuring that they discourae the youth from those kind of practices by making provision for things that will take their attention off dubious means of getting money.

some of these nations where cases of scam is on the rise have youths that do not believe that it is neccesary to get educated. because they are looking for an alternative means of making it outside of the educational etting, hey resort to any known means of making it quick and scamming others becomes the easiest option available for them.

It is interesting how you mention there are people who literally scam to make a living off it, some people would say it is an exaggeration, but sadly it is true, specially in country in the south of Asia: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, among others. There are literally people who are hired to commit scams all around internet, trying to convince their victims to install malicious software or compromise the security of their seed phrases. I have even seen documentary films about people getting kidnapped and forced to work as scammers in behalf of their captors.

It is a sad fact. I've watched an interview of many of these people that making a living out of scamming. While most of them no longer regret scamming others for their gain and benefit, they can stomach what they're doing instead of their stomachs being empty. This is an organized crime while some others are operating on their own alone. It won't be stopped until they have been caught or the fate and karma hits them hard and teaches them a lesson. If these people believe in good and bad karma, they don't want to wait that happen to them before they change.

Still boils down on the enemy working overtime to fully control/enslave society and people. You either serve the ONE who made this World or you serve the entity who didn't make it. The entity constantly tempt people with the evil by encouraging and promoting it. And he does this mainly to gain more control over the human and society. In regards to gaining more control over society, he first of all creates the problems and offers solutions that only put society under his power.. His solution for scams could be a centralized surveillance system he completely controls. Whereas the problem is like a bait for the human to take and be trapped/controlled by the entity.
So, it's like bait and trap situation until all rats are fully under his control. The solution he offers to society is aswell a trap. Once the rats are fully captured they are fed in their cages and work for the entity.


*The less controlled a society and person is the more the traps or temptations. If they are able to resist, it's because they are rooted in the solid foundation which is the Word of GOD. The Word give people light to see the traps and keep them from falling for them.


It's important to note that the entity baits with many other evil not just scams. He baits with immoral sex too and offers solutions until the world is completely converted into satanic system. So, it's important to be grounded in the Word and be awake

The underlying root of fraudulence go beyond careless parents or indolent teenagers.  Unemployment & penury lift up the risk of cheating in zone with a shortage of work, strikingly for youthful teens, as they forage for any source of earnings. insufficient administration & crafty online scheme, like phoney websites or job blurb, facilitate fraud for traffickers seeking rapid money or even forced labour. for that reason it is also verifiable that merciless networks & not enough government support are far more worthy of attention than set down the hold responsible on father or mother or genz. The true causes are systemic issues rather than policy shortcomings.

Unemployment and poverty might contribute to the high rate of scams in an area since people will always seek for legal and illegal means to survive. However, it is not an excuse for engaging in criminal activities.

Scamming is not an easy job. It takes a lot of effort to scam people. I will say that greed is a driving factor. Some young people want to live above their means.

Parents have a role to play in the upbringing of their children. Even when they don't have much, a hardworking parent would do all they can to provide for their children. Inability to financially support the family relates to unemployment and poverty.

Another question we should also add to the first one is that if they started it because of bad condition of the government are they the only people who are going through the hard time from there government? So actully a scammer is already a scammer but the hardship of the country only justified and gave them something to hold as an excuse to why they engaged on it, although there are people hardship of there country affected mentally into developing a wrong way. The only time a parents could be blame is when they just abandoned there children when they're helpless and nobody to turned to but if the parents took care of there children and giving them all necessary academic background and turnout wrong tomorrow is definitely on them and not from there parents because they devoted everything to make sure they have all they need.

This number 1 reason I will say yes to an extent, actually the government has a role to play in the society but to an extent. The government may never do everything for the masses, but however if theost important ones like education, good roads, good water, free scholarship program, electricity and job employment are much in the country it will reduce the rate of crime even though it can't not remove it totally but it will reduce crime. Because lack of many of this factor may lead one into crime and curuption.

Some youth lack contentment, they want to become rich overnight without hard work and this leed to crimes. Most time bad peer gropymay lead to crime. Laziness is another factor that keep people stagnated and deprive them from growth.

I also agree to this,  because parents have a vital roal to play in their childrens life but in most cases the parents failed to do their outright duty and blame the governmen for the misfortune. And this mentality will linger for a longer time and this may change the children mindset making them to think government is there problem while the parents failed.

First you would have listed the countries with high rate in terms of scam and the low ones, however since there is no specific country, I would just have to believe that scam is generally driven by greed by those who perpetrate in it, because even in countries that have enormous job opportunities, you will still see lots of persons that don't want to work but are only interested in taken from others through false pretence. So if your countries government fails, is that a license to go into fraud of course not, so I believe people do that because of greed.

There has not being a single country where the government have provided "enough job", what they can do is to provide as much jobs opportunities as they can, and in large part provides a conducive  environment for entrepreneurial ideas to thrive . Much of what we see in these countries with high rate of scams are that innovations don't find a fertility space and structure to excel.

It is not simple to scam people of their money and it is on this basis I do disagree with the trend that the countries with scam increment are countries with lazy youth. You have to be smart enough to work ways to scam someone off his money, lazy people can't work their ass to do that.

Op have you not witnessed children from good moral homes with parents that are of food reputation still turning wayward and criminals?

It's about the average honesty of the local society, what is directly related to their cultural backgrounds, origins, history... I don't think it's about lack of jobs, and even if there were lack of jobs in countries where corruption rates are low, I don't think we would see scam rates raising there. Rather, they would try developing solutions to fix the problem without prejudicing each other through scams.

After all, first world countries have achieved this status also because their citizens managed to live cooperatively, in a civilized way with each other.

The fact third world countries have high rates of scams concentrated there, prejudices them a lot to become developed countries, because it's hard to have partners to work with when you don't inspire confidence and trust on other people.

You won't blame the government for the number of scams and scammers around the world they are just doing things they consider as the better way of making money for themselves they are not ready to work because they are lazy and wants to keep stealing from people to earn a living, the government has failed to provide good number of employment opportunities but scammers are not the ny ones who are affected by bad government they have no reason to keep stealing they are just greedy and wicked.

Parents are not to be blamed also because they didn't send their children to steal some of the scammers are from responsible homes and their parents provides all their needs but because of the life style they have chosen for themselves they do scam to continue with their extravagant life you shouldn't involve their parents cause scammers are not kids they are old enough to know the right and wrong but the have taking the wrong part and should be hels responsible for all their actions.

Societal acceptance is the key word here.
The government is to be blamed as they are not being able to arrest and punish these criminals.

The community is to be blamed the most who teaches their youth that stealing if fine and celebrates crime.
