many new investors kind of enter bitcoin with the wrong mindset just thinking it is a quick and sharp money making opportunity. but to be honest bitcoin has always been more of a long term play for serious investors!! anyone that is expecting instant profit will just end up frustrated or even panic and sell when the market dips in a scary manner. i think the best way is to just treat bitcoin like a long term investment, understand the volatility and only put in what you can afford to leave untouched for like many years because that is the only way i belive someone will make resonable profit out of it. the thing is if people can adjust their mindset from that fast profit mentality to like long term value projection surely they a better chance of benefiting from bitcoin growth becuase i still believe the best of the market is yet to come.

There is nothing wrong with having expectations, but when they are not met, are they ready to accept the truth? Because the market has an unstable nature, you need to expect the unexpected. Even if the market is down, you can take advantage of it to buy more, as there is no guarantee that the market will go the way you want it to. When it comes to investing or even trading, there is just a lot that they can do, and without understanding, some people will even sell the moment they see the price coming down, and they are forgetting that there are better things they can do the moment the price comes down.

And either investing or trading, it comes with its own risk, and I love the way you called it "calculative risk," and we cannot even stay the way we are and not take risk, and people who are succeeding in the market are the ones taking serious risk.
