As we spend on food we should also make plans for investment. However what really makes food to take a lot of our money is because of the situation we are all facing in Nigeria. Omo I no go lie u, na food Dey chop like 70 percent of money wey we Dey earn. Hunger no sabi say u no get money, as long as you are hungry, then you no get choice than make u eat. If you no eat better food, ur body go tell, seriously me I no Dey carry food play, as long as I Dey see better food chop, even if I no get better savings, I no get problem with that. Any money you spend on drugs and food is not a waste or something we should be mindful for. I like your rationale behind this. Some people forget so easily that health is wealth. When you build a good health, it makes it easier for you to build a good wealth, if you have the intention to do so. You cannot be in need and have money to donate, just like you cannot be hungry and still have money to save. I would rather use the money to eat then go out to look for another one to save. I don't ordinarily expect a rich man to die of hunger or starvation but you find cases where rich people end up dying without being able to treat themselves and you wonder what the money saved was meant for.

It is supposed to have become a rule of life for everyone who's out for survival to always learn how to establish multiple streams of income. This is what is suffering a lot of civil servants who dedicate their life and efforts to the government job without having plan B or C. Most especially those who are placed on meagre salary payments, especially in Nigeria. Truth be say as a family man, even 100k no fit serve you through out the month. Let's say you're collecting 100k naira per month. You will be roughly spending less than 3.5k per day for the rest of the month. Abeg, how can that be even possible.
