have you tryed on craiglist or similar sites ? thats how i got my deals i used leboncoin in france you just have to filter out the dodgy peoples and be carrefull

If you couldn't get them there, then it is high unlikely that you will get them here.

Maybe you should change your mode of payment to have a chance of getting a counterparty.

I am personally not comfortable meeting people in person to trade of my Bitcoins even if I am masked or even if we meet in a safe place. A person with malicious intentions may not rob you immediately. They might trail you for days, studying your movements before ambushing you and robbing you on gun point.

I am now, as of Nov 10 and on, again looking to buy BTC in cash. I didn't find anyone with my initial post but I'm bumping this.

Looking to get $900~$1300. Will decide exact amount later. Still paying 5%. Still must be New York only. I also made a series of posts selling objects for Bitcoin.

There were last time I checked a few people selling in the NYC area.
Not sure if they would go as low as 5% but they were there.
