Unfortunately, in Nigeria there is no job as a mid person that you are going to do that is going to brings you money to even do dollar cost average. The minimum wage now is ₦70k and many companies and the state government aren't paying that amount of money to people. You have to be doing well enough and not earn in Naira to be able to afford Bitcoin with dollar cost average. How much is even ₦70k in dollars, that's like $60 or less, you might end up using all your savings to be able to afford $50 worth of Bitcoin. We still have a long way to go in this country and it's sad.

At first of my hearing, I also was thinking that people who pick cans don't really make that much to make investments such as bitcoin. This thread really made me understand that people also make that much from picking cans too. Now I have come to the understanding that individuals who engage in informal or unconventional work, such as collections of cans, can still demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and also generate income for a living.

I'm happy to see this kind of achievements but his way of buying the Bitcoin is really not thy transparent. I mean, selling Cans to buy Bitcoin? Let's assume he was buying it when Bitcoin was cheap and by that price we are talking about less than $10k, that's like year 2018. Do you know how much it will cost to be able to afford $10k, money was hard to get that time and definitely not going to be making figures with selling of cans alone, there is more to the story but congratulations.

Do you really give a fuck what people are saying about you bro me I don't, I do my thing when ever I want and I how I want, what you said is correct people will mock you especially in southern Nigeria but one should not care about what others will say about us, mocking will not kill you or stop you from achieving your goal rather it will help you and push you to become a better person, if you are listening or thinking about what people will say you won't achieve anything good in life, as long as what you are doing is legal and is not affecting or hurting anyone I don't see a reason one should be scared to be mocked by people.

Bitcoin is not for the rich, Satoshi made it for everybody even lower earners can still buy it gradually and hodl for years and with time they'll be able to generate more income for aggressive accumulation, if that man has waited till he got a higher paying job maybe his portfolio would've been empty or very little, but he was determined to invest using income generated from collecting and stayed patient to build his portfolio, he's a true determined Bitcoin investor.
