Anything you do in this life, just make sure you are determined set your goal and keep to achieving it but I will like us to be real with our own situations as well. This man probably had the opportunity and bought Bitcoin when the price was low, not when it's this expensive and he must have sold a lot of recycled aluminum waste, he might also be a distributor as well. I don't know if there is any kind of motivation you can do with this kind of odd job to buy Bitcoin today, those things are only going for as low as less than $10 if you check the price of waste recycled things. How many do you think someone is going to sell today to be able to buy 1 Bitcoin? You will probably be selling trailers of waste cans and plastic bottles not to talk how much this things are not too value here in Nigeria. I agree with your key factors actually, if you have ways to buy Bitcoin, take the advantage, don't procrastinate, be discipline and no excuses.

Thank you for sharing this, OP. I see it as a motivation for those who think that Bitcoin is for the rich class those who think they can't afford to buy 1 of it since it's now got beyond $100k, i believe ignorance made some of them feel that way but to those who still doubt it's possible this man has proved them wrong, he's practicalised on using the DCA to buy periodically till he's almost accumulated 1BTC. Bitcoin is not for the rich, Satoshi made it for everybody even lower earners can still buy it gradually and hodl for years and with time they'll be able to generate more income for aggressive accumulation, if that man has waited till he got a higher paying job maybe his portfolio would've been empty or very little, but he was determined to invest using income generated from collecting and stayed patient to build his portfolio, he's a true determined Bitcoin investor.

At the end of the day, it's all about determination, anyone that really want to achieve anything in this life will do what ever it takes to achieve it, while another person that doesn't want to get involved in anything in this life will always have a reason why it's not a good idea to get involved in the first place, so truly, as you have said already, if this man can, we can also do it. Another thing we should also pay attention to is your discretionary income, how big is it? You can't just be investing 2k naira weekly in Bitcoin and be expecting to accumulate up to one Bitcoin, the s size of your discretionary income is as important as your will in other to achieve such target.

Indeed this is a good example of how discipline in consistency overcomes circumstance. He just didn't sit idling waiting for the perfect job or season, he created one by starting with what came his way at the moment. This story proves that: • Little amounts sum up with time when you stay consistent • Patience with security is important as do buying • Consistency and discipline are mostly the two things that makes difference in Bitcoin acquiring.
This is a great reminder to prove that complaining and excuses won't raise wealth, habits do.

The mistake most people make is to downgrade what they are doing by not trying to create things out of it. same canning business that this man used in investing in bitcoin can be same thing that others will look down on and refuse trying it out even for the sake of survival. like the saying goes, whatever your hands finds to do, do it with all thy might and expect that in the long term, a good amount of returns will come out of it.
this is a sure encouragement that shows that excuses does not get things done but rather, stops us from achieving our goals, the only way to beat our limitation is to get started at whatever level we are in.

This is this Man source of income and he has utilised his source of income to purchase bitcoin. I don't really see anything special in what this Man has done, because I have seen people that do more odd jobs buying bitcoin. It is all about your mindset and what you want to achieve on the long run. I have seen wheelbarrow/truck pusher buying bitcoin and accumulating a good amount of bitcoin. The most important thing is that you must have a source that's giving you money to buy bitcoin. Wether you pick Can, or you are a palm wine tapper or a salary earner, it's nobody's business.

The truth is that the story is touching especially for those who look down on themselves based on what they are doing and thinks that buying Bitcoin is only meant for those that are very wealthy not knowing that they can utilize the little they are making and based on having an effective financial management/ funds allocation and by making buying Bitcoin a priority, the man was reasonable enough to consider Bitcoin as asset to put his values, he was determined and focus with the little he has which of course majority of us here are doing the same which I got your point about saying that there is nothing special about what the man did or doing.

Actually using proceed from such kind of job to accumulate bitcoin means the man could also have other sources of income which made him to hold tight to the money coming from it. Again, it depends on the country he is ooo. Some developed countries have social security for their citizens in form of loan that will take a long time before repayment if at all. Some people there earn and feed from money government pay their age parents etc. So they may not need to make certain expenses from the stipend they get from their small jobs. No be for Nigeria that kind of thing fit happen, even transport don collect your salary, abi na feeding, bills or school fees. That's the difference.
However, he has shown focus and desire to invest in his future and that is important.

Is there people that still think that bitcoin is for the rich alone? If those kind of peeons exit, then I will say they are ok stone age although I still believe that when you are not informed them you could be deformed, that's to say that we should be very happy that we are privileged to be informed, this is not only an encouragement but I also see this as a lesson to those people that give unnecessary excuse like we don't have a dime to invest, this will open their eyes to know that what every need to invest in bitcoin is the determination to hustle for and get a little income that will continue yielding fruit then we are good, there no where they say we must be rich for us to invest in bitcoin, little beginning is the key to high returns in the future.

It is only in this part of the world that we think that people who picks cans and other trashed objects don't make money. These people doing this business in a more developed or advanced countries are making a fortune from this business. Sometimes they make good amount of money more than some people we see that have an office jobs and a structured salary. It is just us that look down on the people doing these jobs, they are making money. Nigerians are too emotional in certain things, the man did a legal job and he bought bitcoin with it. I don't see a difference between him buying bitcoin and someone doing POS business or ridding Okada/ taxi also buying bitcoin.

I am really impressed with his determination, discipline, and most of all, his focus. There must be people who have been collecting and selling used cans for way longer than two years or even started at the same time as he did but have no dream of progressing past that stage in life and will remain stuck there for as long as possible. It is important that regardless of whatever work of life you find yourself in, you do not focus on the present but focus on the future, on how you can get to that there. You cannot hit a target that you have not set.The man in question is a proud example of how you can achieve whatever you want to achieve so long as you have the focus and work hard towards it, especially on your crypto journey.

At first of my hearing, I also was thinking that people who pick cans don't really make that much to make investments such as bitcoin. This thread really made me understand that people also make that much from picking cans too. Now I have come to the understanding that individuals who engage in informal or unconventional work, such as collections of cans, can still demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and also generate income for a living.
I'm happy to see this kind of achievements but his way of buying the Bitcoin is really not thy transparent. I mean, selling Cans to buy Bitcoin? Let's assume he was buying it when Bitcoin was cheap and by that price we are talking about less than $10k, that's like year 2018. Do you know how much it will cost to be able to afford $10k, money was hard to get that time and definitely not going to be making figures with selling of cans alone, there is more to the story but congratulations. Unfortunately, in Nigeria there is no job as a mid person that you are going to do that is going to brings you money to even do dollar cost average. The minimum wage now is ₦70k and many companies and the state government aren't paying that amount of money to people. You have to be doing well enough and not earn in Naira to be able to afford Bitcoin with dollar cost average. How much is even ₦70k in dollars, that's like $60 or less, you might end up using all your savings to be able to afford $50 worth of Bitcoin. We still have a long way to go in this country and it's sad.

This one na "bambabola" (Those guys who go around and pick up metals from the trash). Good idea. We can also do this but not to pick up trash like this because in our environment you. Will be mocked. Rather finds a skill, learn it and offer your services to get paid in Bitcoin instead of cash. Your clients do not need to be Nigerians because you'll likely not get paid in Bitcoin but if you go on to work platforms, you can negotiate your pay to be in Bitcoin.

i have seen a lot of people who make the mistake of actually thinking that Bitcoin is actually for the rich, and this is exactly what dissuades a lot of people from getting started with their accumulation, regardless of the fact that they actually have indicated interest in actually investing in Bitcoin. regardless of anyone's financial status, as long as they have discretionary income, they have all it takes to invest or accumulate bitcoin, and just as yoiu have rightly said, all they have to do is engage in consistent DCA and HODL onto their asset for the long term.

How would picking and selling used bottle cans help a man secure bitcoin nearing up to 1 btc within 2 years, is that how the price of empty used cans is so high in the foreign country, if that is the case, then every one will be doing the same thing naw, like every local job hunter will actually go into this business and do the same thing.
To me the message behind this man is the necessary thing not the amount he has accumulated so far, that is just an illusion, imo
There is discipline, consistency, constant purchase no matter the amount, burning desire and many distinctive attitude this man exhibit to learn from. Let learn from him.
