As regard your points +Number one: they are already blockchain developers from Nigeria doing well, there is a Nigerian twin Sam and Steve that created an altcoin that's not doing badly although they Also have British citizenship. We also have Bitcoin chief who kicked started his own project too and many under the radar.
+Number two: to be honest five years time is a short time for Crypto-currency to reach every home in the country because there are still obstacles that needs to be overcome but in five years time the adoption of crypto-currency in Nigeria will further increase.
+Number three: I don't think their will be anytime where Fiat will stop being in use but I want a Nigeria where crypto-currency enthusiast has the option to put their crypto to use in their everyday life.

My biggest vision for crypto in Nigeria is Freedom and Freewill not being seen as a threat or a scam tool for the originary man, if you notice around the society, the everyday man wouldn't accept any discussion regarding crypto as it's usually associated with scam.
And I will also like to see the level of ignorance towards bitcoin and crypto to reduces to a great extent, and for this to happen awareness must be created, knowledges will be shared about bitcoin etc.

1. The rise of Nigerian Blockchain developers... I would really love to see that Nigeria becomes a hub for Blockchain innovation..where it isn't just about traders and users but also developers...
OP I believe that we already have a Blockchain Innovation Hub located in various part of the country, I know of one at Ibadan (Oyo State) which offers incubation and mentorship programs....... At least this is a sign that progress is being made concerning Blockchain adoption in Nigeria. But I believe that if we truly want to achieve more and catch up with other countries, there are still a lot of things we need to improve. First is awareness, many people still see blockchain as only about crypto trading, without realizing that there is more to it.... . We also need better infrastructure, because without steady electricity, reduced prices of fuel and more importantly reliable internet connection in remote areas of the country, even the best innovation hubs will be seriously limited ....... And lastly we also need government support and proper funding coz many young developers have brilliant ideas but most times are limited due the high cost of this mentorship program and then lack of access to investors that can push them forward.

Many business are still scared of accepting crypto as payment method because of government regulation and EFCC wahala, i told my friend that i want to establish a gift card and crypto company in Nigeria, the first thing he said was i should pay for EFCC warrant fee first before any other thing, so it wont be easy for any organisation to shot down your company.
An another thing, developers are few in Nigeria, and many are lacking jobs because the industry is competitive,
I strongly believe in time to come, a lot blockchain work will emerge and many new innovations will arise.

All these growth highly depend on the regulations made by our government by then but hopefully by then we would have known their actual stance, which maybe to support it because more top countries would have been supporting it more and may have approved their bitcoin reserves 1. The rise of Nigerian Blockchain developers... I would really love to see that Nigeria becomes a hub for Blockchain innovation..where it isn't just about traders and users but also developers... There will be rise but unfortunately it will still be not as it to be because sadly Blockchain innovation is falling off generally simply from the fact that developers team are only concerned in making money and for this reason they rather create one meme coin more to the next rathe than focus on an actual world problems. Also investors are more interested in any quick profit, gambling on one meme coin to another rather than also investing on Blockchain innovation for world problems. 2. True Financial literacy: I really do hope that in like 5years time, almost all household in the country are aware of cryptocurrency, where school, workplace, and even government empowerment programs includes it into their teaching scheme Definitely more would have been well aware of cryptocurrency, at least in an household more than one individual would be aware if they have access to the internet, but the numbers that would be actually knowledgeable about the truth in this space will be lesser. 3. P2P to Formal market: I really hope to see a crypto market in Nigeria that is fully functional, well regulated and really safe... Where business of all kind and not just individuals can accept crypto payment without fear..
I would like to hear your vision and hope of crypto in Nigeria system...
I think this may be acceptable in some big supermarket but this even depend more on governmental regulations and also how well individuals visiting from other countries or tourists are attracted to it.

I swear this last point way you give eh, this one blow my mind, we really need government support to push the ministry going because without their support e go choke, imagine in country were literally every thing is very expensive, common person way get the talent fit silent with his talent because e no get person, poor person hardly developed em dreams and talents due to inadequate sponsor and support from the Upper hands, their are countless numbers of talented Nigerians that are very good in tech and if they given opportunity to explore their gift they will do exploit. My point is that, their are many nigerian youth that are very hard working and very good in tech but all they want is an helping hands to punch them further, and am urging our government, people in power and position to look into this matter and see if our great country Nigeria wouldn't attain greater height in the nearest future.

@OP, I completely share your vision, although all that you have listed are already in existence in Nigeria but if It can become more popular in the next few years to come, that will be a wish come true for the people. Speaking of p2p, there are already individuals that are specialized in running p2p transactions and they have personal office in different locations of the country, if you doubt you can ask people living in some big cities like Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, ect, you will definitely find some individuals that does p2p there, same as blockchain tech guys but not many of them and also no enough capital to build and develop projects. If some top millionaire entrepreneurs can also diverse to fund the development of a great project that will stand out, no scams no kick and run, that will really be great.

Your visionary projections are really innovative but let us look at them again one after the other, for the aspect of development, they will need developers and sponsors of which development of any kind d is usually required as a skill or certification and developers are usually trained and from the depth of their passion they can contribute but if you're to assemble them and get the start a program for development, it will go a far way to influence and impaire the program.
The issue of financial literacy is one which at some point it feels like maybe the government should get involved and bring this to them through a programme or a boot camp. All of tho will help the society at large when it becomes clear that a good majority, are financial aware of what is expected of them and thi

It is important to note the emergence of blockchain developers in Nigeria. Nigeria is not short of a robust tech community, and with more resources, mentorship, and money going into blockchain education we may find locally developed projects solving real world problems in banking, agriculture, logistics, and governance. This has the potential to make Nigeria a tech hub in Africa not only in implementation but also in development. The other sphere is the financial literacy Crypto remains misunderstood by many and they become susceptible to scams or bad investment choices. If education about block and crypto technology was incorporated in school curricula, workplaces, and governmental programs, people would be better prepared to use them safely, and this would attract more people to the economy.
Lastly, there is need to shift the informal P2P trading to a formal and regulated market. A secure, transparent and legally accepted cryptocurrency environment would make businesses welcome and adopt crypto payments without hesitation and could attract institutional investments. This has the potential to have actual economic returns in terms of employment, foreign investment and more.

Nice one 👌. For me, I just want crypto in Nigeria to be something we can use freely without fear. Shops and businesses should be able to accept it, government should stop the half-ban drama, and more people should actually learn how it works not just trade for quick gain.
