What is that one thing that Bitcoin have done for you apart from making money?

I will go first, Privacy.
I choose Bitcoin to stay safe, My bank account is always on empty mode until I need some money, that's when I will swap some BTC for Fiat, leaving my bank account to almost zero again after using the money. There are few attacks and kidnaps that happened and got revealed that bank workers are giving out information to bad people.
I choose privacy not because I am hiding any criminal habits, I choose privacy to stay away from evil eyes.

I live a life of secrecy, because of my country big insecurities, I have fear towards people that are struggling more than those that are living in riches because lack of money is the root of evil.
I don't know bout others but when i got my first car many eye are so much on me, I was in my compound one day and I saw shadows of two men outside my gate, I knew the car must have attracted them, i had to return it and get something smaller, whenever I get a shiny object, things or gadget I feel so unsafe.

Few people even showed how envious they are, judging with the words of their mouth and sudden change of attitude, which makes me conclude that poor people are far more worse than the rich.
Having large amount of money in your bank account isn't even safe anymore, Bitcoin have solved this part better for me than anything else, atleast no one will know how much I have or worth.

Financial Freedom, i can now take charge of my financial life and be in control of what belongs to me, i can invest in bitcoin without going through any central authority, make profit in it and enjoy my privacy, which the traditional financial system cannot give at all, it also expose me to the advance digital technology, which the world is moving into already.

Many, one of them is privacy.

Bitcoin make me to avoid getting scammed, it's fungible, so I won't get the fake version. This problem usually happen in gold, I might got scammed due to buying fake gold.

Safer to buy, if I want to buy real estates, I have to check the building/land, then verify the authenticity of the certificates, unfortunately there are many mafias in my country, the mafias are working with the government.

I came to Bitcoin and blockchain because of curiosity and frankly speaking, that time I had a lot of free time at work and I started to get bored. I was tired of watching youtube, funny pictures and trying to kill time until I can finally go home. Bitcoin, forum, technology and lots of ICO projects took all my free time, I became addicted to knew information, and crypto made my mind to work instead of degrade by surfing social media and playing 3-in-row games.

Bitcoin is like what post graduate program is in financial studies, this is because when I first came into this space I never know how factual and scientific financial analysis and practices are and how to be aggressive in financial dealing most especially in assets accumulation where Bitcoin comes in.

This Forum have helped me mostly in the area of financial illiteracy and assets management, so for that I can say that we can't really separate Bitcoin from financial help, which make this question a bit out of contest since everything still ball down to finances.

We know that the privacy and value that Bitcoin provides are the main reasons, which are very beneficial for many people, especially those who believe in Bitcoin, and are truly involved or connected with Bitcoin directly. Related to your question, I think there are other benefits that I get from Bitcoin. First, Bitcoin became one of the path openers for me to be more literate in finance and technology, especially related to decentralization. Second, being one of the witnesses of the financial revolution of Bitcoin, because I don't think everyone can witness the history of Bitcoin, including being a part of its history. I can imagine how I will tell people about Bitcoin, at least to the next few generations, and maybe that will be to my grandchildren or maybe my grandchildren's children.

So those two things are what I can give for now, maybe there are still so many other benefits that I haven't thought of, if they already exist, then I will add them immediately, because I think Bitcoin discussions like this are also quite interesting to talk about.

I can say that since I became an enthusiast after much doubt and skepticism, Bitcoin became a haven for savings, and my bank as well. I became free of unnecessary charges from banks and also, it also serves as my store of value because my local currency is not stable, so what is the point holding your money with the bank, which adds no profit but inflation and unnecessary charges whenever they feel like because they know you have no option but to keep saving your money with them. So far, I have seen the good side of Bitcoin, which is so enormous, and not everything is comfortable to say here.

Bitcoin has not done anything for me yet, all am still doing is to keep buying a little amount of it any time I have money to invest. I also  save small amounts from every payment I get on my signature. How do you buy your Bitcoin, through centralized exchange that will require P2P and you will be sending fiat from your bank to purchase the Bitcoin. Banks calculate your total deposits and withdrawal for each month, if you're trying to escape the part of banks knowing how much you worth using accumulated balance for each month they can easily detect your worth.

Obviously money, i can't think of using Bitcoin for some other things but the only aspect has always been for profits. My fiat is always working for something, either business or investment, no need of keeping fiat in my bank for no purpose.

I got involved in Bitcoin as a young clueless girl seeking to gain more knowledge about bitcoin so I can invest and make some profits. However, while in the course of getting to know more about Bitcoin, I have gained lots of knowledge that has changed my perception about alot of things; the government, the financial system, privacy and even some security consciousness which I now have.

Currently I am DCAing bitcoin and cannot say I have made that profit that brought me here in the first place, but right now I am currently working on it and loving the whole process.

I am still doing lots of research about Bitcoin and broadening my knowledge of Bitcoin and technology. I feel within me that my future is secured with Bitcoin. Maybe later in the future I will boast of acquiring my first house with my investment profits

Personally for me the greatest thing that Bitcoin has provided besides money is freedom. I do not always need to rely on the banks and do not have to worry about their rules and limitations. I can cross borders and deliver value instantly without asking anybody and without permission. I feel as though I am more in control of my money. It is the feeling of independence that I hold more than that profit.

In my case it's mainly confidence and the feeling of security.

I used to have some money saved up, but deep inside I knew that it wasn't enough, so I kept investing, saving up. I had enough saved up to live for a year with no income, but wanted more. When bitcoin exploded I didn't have to spend much because I never needed to show off wealth, but what kept me going was that feeling that now I have savings that could last me for 10 years. Then it became 20, then more than that. Now I know that I don't have to work at all. I work when I want to and I live my life pretty much the way I did 10 years ago, but I'm completely relaxed. There's no pressure that this month a car broke down and we have to pay the mechanic, so no eating out and no buying toys for kids. I stopped focusing on material things, worrying about the next utility bill and that's very important in life.

Last but not least, since I went through my second bull market cycle, I sleep like a baby. The first was hard, but second and third was a piece of cake.

What is that one thing that Bitcoin have done for you apart from making money?

Bitcoin is money itself so one of the things that bitcoin has done for me is to teach me about security because since the coin is in my custody, its security relies on me because i dare not lose the passphrase and seed phrase that will grant me access to my coin so it has made me to take security of my asset very serious. Another one is transaction without limit because traditional banks has limits of withdrawals but with bitcoin i can make any amount of transaction i want to make without facing any restrictions.

This is one of my best attribute of bitcoin the anonymity gives you freedom and to have just any amount of bitcoin you want and not raising an eye brow. If it is a physical property it will be actually alarming for everyone to see but except you expose yourself you are actually anonymous with any amount you want.

Another advantage that I have enjoyed with bitcoin is actually the cross boarder transactions, seriously they have been lots of problems when doing cross boarder transactions where you need to actually convert your fiat to different currencies but with bitcoin you don’t need to convert your currency to another currency before using it

I'm sick of keeping money in the bank because of the government's ridiculous policy of freezing accounts without the owners' knowledge so they can't withdraw their funds.

This is a rather odd regulation even though the bank accounts have been reopened but it doesn't rule out the possibility of the government implementing similar policies again.

It's not that I don't need banks; honestly, I still use them for daily transactions however I no longer keep large amounts of money in them, and some of it has been invested in Bitcoin—one of the best ways, especially since it can be profitable in the future.

Bitcoin has made me have a deep reflection on privacy beyond what the perspective and importance I before now placed on it. With our finances being private the design is that we are secured from unnecessary censorship and  attacks that could have been attracted to us. Privacy is peace but the failed fiat system denies us this very unique peace and freedom.

Might be a bit of an odd answer but it gave me a community. One that is focused on technology and other innovations and that really gave me a chance to improve on my own knowledge about the internet and any technological advances that I may not have been made aware of in the past. Bitcoin has truly changed my life. This is true, not metaphorical or exaggerated.
Bitcoin has brought many good things into my life. First, financial freedom, second, privacy, and most importantly, ease of payment, bypassing all the old payment methods that were banned in my country.

My experience with Bitcoin has been more than wonderful. Previously, I was looking for an online job and my main problem was payment. Most websites pay via PayPal, Visa, or MasterCard, all of which are banned in my country. Therefore, it was very difficult, if not impossible. You have received at least one transaction with Bitcoin, that alone has fulfilled your need but from investment perspective, you have not really made something from it. Do you know that if you have been working or your signature payments is paid from bank from another country like USA, it will take days before your money is going to reach your country, I'm taking about lightening payment like Zele and the rest micro finance payment, I'm talking about real Banks but Bitcoin does it within 10 minutes of block confirmation.

You are doing DCA gradually and putting everything in your wallet, this is what Bitcoin does that other assets investment can't do. You can't buy a Gold from any exchange and decide to send it to your wallet unless you have to carry it around with you, you can't buy fraction of Gold and gold. It's going to look like you are wasting your money for nothing, this is what Bitcoin does that other assets can't do and you do it with comfort of small fees than the banks.

Becoming a investor. I mean yeah, most of us have gain financial freedom, but what is the path to accomplished them? And before most of us didn't know what investing it. We all know that we put money on them and wait for it to grow. But with Bitcoin, it's different, it give us that knowledge and we can maybe apply it to other things in life. Maybe we became to have mental toughness and discipline and that things take some some to be accomplished with.

Not be a popular opinion, but we all know that Bitcoin's first case is all about gambling. I have been a gambler though before entering the world of Bitcoin investment but mostly playing on physical casinos. But when I learned that I can gamble on Bitcoin related crypto platform, then I don't go that much outside and sometimes just play at the comfort of my home.
