People who consider altcoins over bitcoin don't even understand both bitcoin and altcoins because looking at bitcoin you can see clearly thst bitcoin is better than altcoins in all aspect this why when I see people who invedt in altcoins I don't take them serious because they don't even understand what they are even investing because the main value which is supposed to be invest in is not even been considered.

I agree with you on this, Bitcoin investment is the best investment, and if someone decides to leave Bitcoin and invest in alt coins, then he is definitely making a mistake. As a long-term investment, Bitcoin gives us the most chance of success, and at the same time, holding only Bitcoin for the long term is much less risky. Bitcoin is definitely the best choice for a low-risk long-term investment. Basically, most altcoin investors just jump in hoping for quick profits, and that is where the risk is the biggest, this will frustrate them most of the time. so that's why they should understand that Bitcoin is the most feasible and reliable investment.

I will tell you for free that every altcoins is design in one way or the other to sort for funds from the public. This is the mechanism put in place to make you believe it will yield positive result at the end.

The owners of altcoins have one thing in mind , to catch out from your invested money on there coins and start up a new business or to support their existing business or to invest the money on bitcoins itself. So it easier for them to pull out the money from the exchanges forcing the price to hit zero.

If they have good mind , they can pump in money later when they have made profit from the business. If the business collapse or target not met, the coins automatically die.

No matter how promising an altcoins can be , bear in mind that the owners has his own reason for creating them which might not be made known on the white paper.  If it is not bitcoins , stay away from shit coins with hundreds of empty promises.

Most altcoins are known for being fraudulent but some of it have favored its users too, even in altcoins there good eggs and there are bad eggs. I don't advice anyone to invest in any altcoin because it's not worth it and it isn't reliable, investors that have been in the market know that Bitcoin is the only reliable and trustworthy crypto currency to invest in and it's only the new investors that are having a hard time understanding the difference between both coins. You should not just concluded that no matter how promising an altcoin may be, there are hidden plans behind it. It is very possible that not all altcoins were created for just only making money from the project. If that is the truth, most of the altcoins that have been existing for a while may not be around anymore.

Let’s just look at examples of reputable altcoins like BNB, Ethereum, Solana, and so on. If the creators of the coins I mentioned were only interested in making money, they might not have found investors willing to invest in these projects, and they may not have lasted in the crypto industry the way they are currently lasting.

Altcoins have categories and for that reason we have some that have higher demand and working ecosystem those types of coins are not so popular but we have a few of them which are known to the entire market, but then we choose to make emphasis on Bitcoin since Bitcoin investment offers us more confidence and less risks compared to altcoins.

Currently the focus is to avoid such altcoins and differentiating the coins might be so difficult to an extend if you decide not to buy any altcoin you might feel left out for example ETH the most common mentioned altcoin. Nowadays people see ETH same as bitcoin so they no longer wants to invest rather they believe starting from small project will give them good return compared to other trusted altcoins, I think that’s where the problem lies and if they can just focus on the good coins no one will fall victim to all sort of altcoin project. Op is right, viewing how low altcoins might become if people no longer show interest due to the popular narrative “not all altcoins are to be trusted” definitely if an investor should find a good and trusted coin that works perfectly then they should hold on to the coin meanwhile altcoins in general should keep on building their reputation.

Usually that's what majority of the project owners think, but i doubt if everyone has that intention as raw as you have put it to be. Altcoins now are days are filled with scam projects, now we no longer fear if a project will do well or not, the most dreaded part is find a project that has passed all the quality test of a reputable reject yet they yet they're still end up becoming a scam project. Scammers these days are just concerned on how they can make money from crypto by rugging people, however it's  best to stay away from those project when you're cannot  be certain when to enter or sell your crypto. I've seen coins do their ATH in very small amount of time. So imagine  during this time you were sleeping after watching the market for days or throughout the night.

The coin owners will never make their intentions clear to the public, instead they do come with good ideas for the general public to buy their idea and invested in their projects, and after meeting their desired target, they do have second thought which might be either to stay with the project or do partnership with others to create another project, or even leave the project for something entirely different that will earn them more money.

There is an atom of truth from what OP posted because if the owners don’t have anything benefit, they can’t keep creating such coins.
The best thing is to stick to Bitcoin, and trade alt coin if you have knowledge of crypto trading, but I don’t advice anyone to hold altcoin for long.

The way all these altcoins dey pop small come fade away, e come be like say na shadows chasing..  Today everybody go dey hype one project, tomorrow e don crash and nobody dey talk about am again..
