Imo gambling addiction can not be stopped itself. If you let person gamble non-stop, let him continue gambling when that person has addiction, that gambler will never stop. People always find way to find money. If a person has a goal, he will do everything to reach it. Well i agree that they need help but one thing is noted and thats the fact they also need to make the decision that will mandate their recovery or even after their recovery because the simple truth at the end is that everyone is responsible for their actions and Grambling addiction dont just go overnight so comstant work need to put in it even when you are cared for because there is already the choice of going back when you dont have that decision already made.

Gambling addictions can be worst sometimes believe me my friend sometimes if not restricted theor could go on to hurt themselves or others like those that go into crimes just to found their gambling cravings, such addict is better  off locked up and if possible get rehabilitated in the prison since his crime is now covering his addictions.

This is very common for people to act like that. When everything is fine, there are money and profit - friend are always around. When problems appear, a person is always left alone and friends evaporate and act like you havent even existed. I also had "friends" who acted that they did not notice I have problems. Why would I be counseling people that have decided to make their life miserable. What's there to be a responsibility gambler and be making your profit without being an irresponsible gambler. Everybody can be addicted the gambling but it's your decision to be a responsible gambler and be gambling as much as you want without being addicted to gambling. That's because in rehab, they'll be treated and some programs that will make them realize that they shouldn't go any further with gambling and why they have become addicted to it.
