There are many new coins and tokens being created every day. Do you know of a cheap coin or token with a bright future? What do you think about the future of Dero or XLM?

Any coin or token can be good and at the same time be the bad ones, we have to intensify in how we research about them and also have enough years of experience in dealing with them before going for any, most of them were pump and dump projects and we can't be rest assured of what they may likely give as a result, until we are into them and later discover how terrible or good they are, if we can't go for the risk, then we step aside or rather invest with caution.

I am very conscious when investing in new projects so I don't fall victim to many of these pump and dump tokens that are only created to milk from investors. When I want to invest in altcoins especially memecoins which I don't most time, I am always checking for numbers of holders, wallets with large holdings , who the team are and others important things to check for.

The altcoins market need to a bit of understanding because the way investors are losing their hard earned money is quite of a large numbers but many would not still mind, buying and holding for as long as possible without having a thought of the tokens going rug pull after some certain months.

Many of the new projects that are coming into the crypto industry nowadays are not really worth investing in. I have invested in so many of them, but they seem to be scam projects, as they are all pump and dump schemes entering the crypto space.If you want to invest in tokens, especially new projects, you have to be really careful. In fact, it is not really advisable to invest in new projects right now, considering the way things are going.

Don't be too attracted to profit stories or money discussions on social media. It is not easy to make real profit from new projects. Many of the people you see on social media claiming they are making profit from new projects often get signals about when a project will pump and when it will dump.So, what I would advise is to focus on coins that have already gained a good reputation in the crypto market. It's better to make small profits little by little than to aim for high profits and end up losing everything you invested.

It's hard to find cheap token that have the potential these days. Usually it's already priced in the first day of TGE. Moreover, the potential of new coin is as good as the VC backing it.
So personally I don't really invest into those new tokens anymore, Just stick with the big coin like ethereum, they are more profitable and have higher chance of having rally because they are being legitimized and invested by big investors such as blackrock.

This is the reason why finding hidden gem is hard, too much coin being created means fragmentation of liquidity in the altcoin market.

Lately I haven't really been looking at new coins & tokens anymore, because usually the tokens that are being deployed nowadays are related to hype & memes. I've 1 coin that's always on my radar, it's Oasis (ROSE), you can check it out first before deciding to invest, its market cap is relatively small & $ROSE is currently ranked #234 on Coinmarketcap.

What do you think about the future of Dero or XLM?

I just heard about $DERO, so I don't have any insight into the project. As for $XLM, it's an old project, and IDK if the community is still strong, but I'd advise against investing in it. There are many better older projects.

I don’t know anything about Dero but I bought XLM many years ago. I had hope it could be the next big thing but that never really transpired. As for new coins & tokens, many people here will shill you coins that they own. You might not get a genuine, honest answer. Best thing to do is DYOR & buy coins that you, yourself believe in.

I really believe in XLM, but I have no idea about Dero. If I had to choose between the two, I'd pick XLM. I think it still has potential and I've seen that even now,
it hasn't fallen behind the top altcoins in the crypto space.

In fact, it's one of the coins I hold for the long term, just a small amount, and I plan to hold onto it for a while. That's all I'm doing with it for now,
even though it's not my top priority to accumulate a lot of it.

Everyone has their own preferred altcoin to prepare for a bull market. I don't own XLM or Dero, but my favorite coin is HYPE, and I've already taken profits on some of them. Among my older coins, I own a bit of XRP and HBAR, as their narrative is quite strong in the US market.

Not only that, I also have quite a few altcoins in my wallet, even memes, to test my luck at the end of this cycle.

XLM is not something you should have any trust in, anything that is trying to copy and do a "better" version is already at the wrong path, because XLM isn't good enough to copy to start off with, and itself is not that great. What did you see from stellar that made anyone think that they should invest into it?

There hasn't been anything that is reasonably good enough and because of this we should avoid it. Too many people end up with results that are not that great, and because of that we are not going to get the best results out of this. Of course things aren't always that complicated when given enough time, but XLM had it's time, and it didn't get the attention or love from the public, enough to make it a big coin.

About investing in cheap coins, I'd rather stick with the old schools. XRP had a good run in a year, and I think it still has many supporters and investors. It's not that cheap, but some would think that its value will grow anytime, or you could DCA.

Anyway, why not stick with the very old and popular ones? Sure, they are not cheap, but their value is growing, so you will still make profits in the long run. The thing is, it's difficult to find a gem that is cheap in a very massive market of altcoins.

Don't assume that cheap coins or tokens will skyrocket in value; they will likely become worthless shitcoins, at least they don't have a high FDV.

Meanwhile, there is still hope for XLM because some people are investing in it, although I myself am not.

It's difficult to know which of these new tokens that will give you profit in the long run because majority of devs are out there want to extort people of their hard earned money with their project. I don't know anything about these tokens that you mentioned in the OP. However, if you want to invest in any of them, only use the amount of money that you can afford to lose because it's like you are gambling.

XLM was a 100x if you got in early around nov 2016 around .002 and heard there doing something with PayPal. I also think there connected to ripple XRP some way DYOR.

On Stellar anyone can offer to trade anything for anything else, and choose whose IOUs for those things to trust how many of.

Thus anyone can act as an exchange for anything for example, or any bunch of friends or co-workers can split their bar or lunch or whatever bills among one-another.

Its IOU tokens are not some add-on "smart contract" thing with all the possibilities of contract bugs and so on that "smart contracts" introduce, they are a native ability, part of the protocol.

So it is very simple and cheap to issue tokens (IOUs).

I have for a long time now been using it for the Galactic Milieu, implementing all the assets that we used to use the "Open Transactions" system for except those that are categorised in-game as "shares". (So far we have migrated the "shares" type assets only to the HORIZON platform in order to avoid folks mistaking them for "securities", since they are game-assets not actual planet-Earth securities.)

Note though that we still use the "200% reserve" approach we did back in the Open Transactions days, in which when creating tokens (IOUs) representing blockchain-based coins we only mint half as many of the token as we have of the real on-the-blockchain coin, in order that our tokens continue to represent one real on its own blockchain coin per token even after we have used half the real coins to buy back all of the tokens.

Thus the tokens also serve to help create scarcity of the coin since only half as many tokens exist to trade than exist actual coins represented by tokens; then we build more scarcity on top of that by using the tokens to build the "treasuries" from which the game calculates a calculated value for the token, so more and more of everything ends up locked up in the "treasuries" of the various things...

Sometimes, I use XLM for transactions and it's cheap too. But with Dero, I don't know and never heard of it. As for the bright future of these tokens. I can't say anything at all but if I am using it, only for transactions.

You just have to be very careful when investing in all this new projects, it’s just so difficult to identify a coin with bright future, because most of the coins in the market right now do end up being a scam, some of them do always look real, but at the end they do end up to be a scam, that’s why I don’t even try any new coin just entering the market, because it doesn’t always end well. If you are planning to invest, then bitcoin is the best coin which you can invest in, but if you prefer altcoins investment, then take your time to do research, and just invest in coin that have been in crypto space for years, and stay away from all this new projects.

You are looking for a cheap coin that have bright future, I think you are being funny right now because there is no way that a project with good potential will not have it coin being expensive in the end, because at some point all that build the ecosystem is the amount of volume that the investors brings into the game.


Although there are ways you can know potential projects, and pricing is just one among many, because at it stands several factors make up for the success of a project.
