Imagine you wake up tomorrow open Bitcointalk (or X, whatever) and see that Satoshi Nakamoto just revealed their identity it’s real verified undeniable

Would you freak out?
Would you sell your Bitcoin?

For me it wouldn't change anything anymore because a lot of people are claiming to be satoshi and I feel like I've seen enough of it already, if he reveals himself on social media I would feel like it's just another fake satoshi claiming to be the real one but if he reveals himself here on BITCOINTALK forum I may be able to believe him because I've seen his account here that was created over a decade ago and revealing his identity here in the forum will make me hold on to my Bitcoin, Bitcoin is doing remarkable well in the absence of satoshi and I think it traffic is going to be massive once he reveals his identity and I will hold my Bitcoin tightly and stick around to see what happens next.

Bitcoin works on a decentralized platform and doesn't need someone to step in like some kind of driver or pilot, Satoshi coming back wouldn't change anything unless it gets to the point of him selling his premined coins and all his other coins then for sure all stakeholders will have something to talk about with his return.

But with that Satoshi Nakamoto name being a pseudo name, I don't think he will be coming back neither does he have anything to prove because there is no benefit on a personal level, if anything coming back just puts him in harm's way with all these kidnappings going on...

If Satoshi revealed his/her/their identity, I'll be waking up immediately because realistically speaking, it will not happen.

Now let's assume that it will happen, I will not be freaking out AT ALL, I will not sell my Bitcoin just because Satoshi revealed his/her/their identity, but because I want to take profit. Would the creator revealing his/her/their true identity change anything? Yes, but not for me, but for Satoshi's privacy because it might be in danger.

We know that this will not happen, and it will never happen. Oh wait, Craig S. Wright is Satoshi, isn't he? Kidding aside, this will not happen anymore, and I don't think that Satoshi revealing his/her/their identity will have any negative effect towards Bitcoin, but it's the complete opposite. The negative effect only happens if Satoshi sells ALL of those 1M Bitcoins.

It will be a bomb on the market and you will see many news talking about it on media but I agree with you that nothing to feel panic about it. Because Satoshi Nakamoto does not have any silver bullet or key to shut down Bitcoin blockchain or reverse it, whatever against the network. Bitcoin network is strong by its actual decentralization and even its Bitcoin founder can not do anything.

Identity revealed so what's next?
Government arrest Satoshi Nakamoto like how they did with Pavel Durov - Telegram founder, but what's next is not similar to what Durov did with Telegram. Satoshi Nakamoto can not arbitrarily change anything in Bitcoin protocol by himself.

I don't see anything that will definitely change about Bitcoin assuming that tomorrow we gets to find out the real Satoshi one thing that is clear is that he has impacted the world positively through his invention which has solved a problem in the world stage that is the most important thing for me to note, but to me the way Satoshi Left the scene after he created Bitcoin is the best because there would have been a lot of unforseen situations that would have happened especially his personal security safety knowing that Bitcoin will become this successful today so this is the best way that Satoshi should stay

Honestly, I don't think much will happen if Satoshi decides to reveal his identity tomorrow. I mean, the project is already in the hands of the community. It has been doing fine without Satoshi. Personally, I wouldn't freak out. But I know others will. Especially newbies. What concerns most people is Satoshi's ability to sell his Bitcoin and crash the market. But this would only happen if he decides to sell all of his coins through an exchange. If he does an OTC trade, Bitcoin's price won't be affected.

I think we're past the point of knowing who Satoshi is or ever was. Unless the person claiming to be Bitcoin's creator proves possesion of early-mined coins with the original private keys, Satoshi's identity would be a wild guess. There are far more important things to focus on. Don't you think?

Anything can happen if Satoshi suddenly shows up (that is, if we all would believe he is the one), but one thing I don’t see myself doing is freaking out or selling off my bitcoins in panic. Why exactly should I do that?

I really think that if Satoshi should show up, there will be lots of buzz on social media discussing his arrival. That buzz will, in turn, give rise to a new wave of hype which will lead many to buy bitcoins, and in doing so, we will experience a bull run during this period when the hype lasts. As much as anything could happen, panic sales really aren’t something that should be expected.

I was also trying to say the same thing, if even Satoshi ever becomes active and sells all one million bitcoins he has at once, it might easily create a bear type situation in the market, but bitcoin is decentralized and at the same time limited and as the days go by, its demand is increasing.
So the bitcoins he sells in the market will also gradually fall short of the demand and later, of course, whether it is a year or two, the market will start recovering again and it will continue like it is now. But it is true that many traders will face huge losses during this period.

Exactly my point, I'll only believe if a picture of him was posted in this forum, by Satoshi himself with his original account saying the photo he posted is the real face behind Satoshi Nakamoto, although I won't want that cause I want the myth to keep going on, since Bitcoin is decentralized it's best for the founder to remain anonymous instead of coming out to cause controversy all over the media. Yes that wonder hinder the progress of Bitcoin it has even gone beyond the initial plan of Satoshi into an asset class making more people believe in it, people would keep believing in it even if Satoshi reveals his identity today.

I'll be amazed that he did this kind of bold move especially that the whole crypto market is very hot and trending right now. Also, I might do something on my portfolio that'll secure my funds of course since first of all why Satoshi revealing himself, so there's a possibility that he will do some unusual moves too like selling some of the BTCs. The first thinking right now is Satoshi doesn't have a good reason to reveal himself so of course, you'll think of a negative thing about his actions.

This question has been asked endlessly. It has been made clear that Satoshi will never return, as he designed Bitcoin to operate in a decentralized manner and independent of any central authority from the very beginning. Therefore, there's no reason for him to come back, let alone reveal his identity to the public... that would be foolish, as many would want to uncover who he is.
So let's leave this discussion at that and avoid making assumptions, because Satoshi simply won't return.

He has a reason for keeping things the way it is right now, who would have known what would have become of him if he came openly to say that he is satoshi,  with what we have seen, if anyone comes up now to tell us that he is satoshi, I doubt if anyone will believe him, so I don't think him traveling his identity is even necessary, we are enjoying his innovation so we should keep enjoying that and stop thinking too much, anywhere he is, he will be very happy that his dream is coming to fullfument.

While others will be expecting to catch the worse of what will happen i will be busy preparing funds to go hard on my purchase. If something as such happen, the price of Bitcoin will fall heavily, the clever ones that trust Bitcoin to regain from the heavy decline will take the opportunity to invest with everything they got. Imagine Satoshi selling everything, and the price falls from $115,000 to $30,000 if not less than because it will create a heavy effect on the price.
