New Air-Cooled ASIC Miner: Proto Rig – 819Th/s at 14.65 J/Th

A new air-cooled Bitcoin ASIC miner has just been announced: the Proto Rig. 
It comes with some interesting specs and design choices that might catch the attention of both home and farm miners.

• Hot-swappable fans, PSU, and hashboards (modular approach)

This unit seems to combine high hashrate performance with an emphasis on serviceability. 
The hot-swappable components could make maintenance faster and less disruptive compared to traditional fixed designs.
