I have a pattern for betting. And if anything will make me change that pattern it has to be a game that I could actually risk and stake a high amount. However, I have increased my bet on several occasions and Ill be sure to share two experiences in the past.

I first increased my bet, when I noticed the favorite team is losing while the game is on. Since I believe there is still a possibility for them to still win the game, Ill stake high and bet on them by then, the odds will be very high. And lastly I increased my bet when I dont want to add more than 1 game in a parlay.

When we change our betting pattern, definitely either of these must happen, that we have a more better experience or thing remained the way they have always been as usual, but its always good to make changes so as to be able to know how far we've been in gambling, if there is any need to adjust or continue in other not to be found missing out without knowing.

I mostly used to play buying the bonus feature and I always increase the bet only after a massive win if it happens to me, I do so because chances are high that the game is in a good "mood" during that time and I hope it will give another substantial victory back to back. Anytime I used to lower my bet after winning it was another big win that is why I never do it, maybe I only lower my bet when my balance is near the end and I want to have a chance to play a couple of more bonus buys as who knows what happens, maybe the game brings me back, that is a simple strategy I use though remember in gambling over the long run there is no strategy that will save you from losing, as simple as that.

I don't have any pattern that i would be knowingly using. But there probably are subconscious reasons that make me want to raise the bet.

Imho that pattern seeking that's build into humans would be seeing patterns in gambling that doesn't even exist.
I generally don't believe in patterns when it comes to raising bets on games (other than maybe with poker, where there are patterns to be read from other players directly).

It's just too uncomfortable for us to realize that most of the time we don't know what we are doing, so we seek patterns that aren't there to confirm our biases and support out beliefs.

It depends on what the game is. If it's a slot, I never change my starting bet. If it's a sportsbook bet, I might place another bet based on what I see, but only if my initial bet is losing at that time. If it's winning, then no.😎

What’s your strategy on adjusting your bet?

If I lose, I never compare it, because I enter with as much money as I can afford to lose. If I lose money and then take a bet to recover that money, then there is definitely a possibility of losing more. A person who takes a big bet the next time to recover that money after losing money is definitely addicted to gambling.
Because here, it is not about betting or gambling for income, but about gambling for fun. A person who follows all these things will definitely have a higher chance of winning, because it is possible to win by using experience, skills and strategies in gambling.

Axtually when I see that luck is on my side, I tend to increase what I wager. If in regular weekends I just bet around $5 per game, I tend to double it when I see I'm lucky and my money increased higher. I seem to feel confident that my analysis is getting good. Increasing the bet size while midst of gambling is quite common. I do it when I lose a bet just like many others.
The classic martingale strategy also proposes the same concept and it kinda makes sense too.
But we are increasing the risk of losing our money as well and that is something to consider.

Im not a fan of a increase of bet every time i lose the game or even with the martingale strategy because this may lead my bets to make it double and then ended up losing more money instead of gaining. What i did is a consistent betting so i can make a continuous bet with the same amount so i can count it easily if im winning already or just taking back my losses.

If I have to apply a new change to my bet then it's all about the game, and I need to be on standby when the match is ongoing, most of the time I don't see any need to do this because I am mostly busy.

I prefer to place the bet and come back later after the match is over to see the results, but if I am less busy and watching the match I can make some adjustment on the way.

To be honest I've not seen a significant difference applying some changes, and mine is all about if I am going to walk away with a amount when the game is still on, I don't see the need to increase my bet amount I will never do that.

Definitely when I’m on huge profit that makes my bankroll grow a significant percentage. I always use a percentage betting based on my bankroll so the increase on my bankroll will make me increase my bet accordingly in proportion to my bankroll size.

As a gambler when you noticed that your strategy isn't giving you the kind of winning you want, it's best that you just change your betting patterns and use another. But if your strategy keeps giving you winning there will be no point in changing it, only a gambler who's not winning through his strategy will keep on using the same strategy as always. However gambling patterns does not guarantee your success through gambling, so it's important to gamble responsible and gamble with what you can afford to risk.

I will bet larger when the match is ongoing and the favorite team that is dominating the game is trailing at the beginning of the match. There is still a lot of time left to catch up to the opponent. Of course, I need to consider the opponent's chances of winning and the possibility of a draw. Not all favorite teams can turn the situation around and then win the match. However, the bookmaker's offer in such situations is usually very attractive. But in general, I will bet evenly for each bet I make. Although sometimes the odds can influence me to bet smaller or larger than usual.

I never used the adjustment strategy: I continued to play without changing the bet, placing the same amount. I'm not sure that my strategy was correct, because in the end I lost the entire deposit. I didn't try to outsmart luck like OP and relied only on luck, believing that if I was lucky, then I would be lucky without the adjustment strategy.
