Is mempool.space down? I can't access the site.

I know this is an old topic, but a few days ago I noticed that I can't load mempool.space with Tor or VPN, while with a regular IP address I don't have those problems. Can anyone check if they have the same problem?

On mobile or desktop? Because I often had similar expereince loading mempool on my mobile with no VPN just on chrome, it will keep loading and I have to refresh the tab or force close it then opening it after a while will work fine but on desktop clearnet I never had any issues.

When I use the Opera browser with an inbuilt VPN, it loads through a bit slow
When I use ClearNet, it's not working.
When I use the Tor browser, it works after a couple of connection timeouts.

This clearly means it's accessible to some people while it won't be accessible to others. I don't know if this is the kind of issue that can be created on their GitHub.

It works fine for me, both on the Tor browser and on Brave via a Tor connection.  It takes a little time to load, though.

If you get a connection timeout, you might want to try hitting "New Tor Circuit" and see if it hepls.

I have the same problem but it's with the regular ip. Whenever I experience that, I am trying to use different browsers and some are able to access but at most times, it doesn't. So using the alternative mempool websites is what I do which are said on this thread.

It works fine for me, both on the Tor browser and on Brave via a Tor connection.  It takes a little time to load, though.

Although this should be for another topic/thread. With brave, I had that trouble that recently appeared about accessing tor connection always shows "disconnected". It suddenly appeared with that error.

I got curious, so I checked too. I tried all three free IP(Asia, America, Europe) they offer. When I use the American IP, I get "site can't be reached", and when I use the Asia and Europe IP, I can access it, but slow, just like yours.

Here now, after a long time, I managed to get to the mempol page on the regular clearnet browser, while on the Tor browser it seems that the loading takes forever.

It's interesting that whenever I send a bot or some automated tool, it reads the data from there without any problems.

Oh, this is interesting. Some other explorers are also displayed using the mempool.space design.
It might be a bit slower at first, but at least it's accessible.

This is unique, I think I've also seen the same concept with the use of bus before however I can't remember it anymore.
I like that it also support the other cryptos and it loads quick by using tor.

After using memepool.space for a while now, my eyes are just so used to it that I wouldn't want to use other block explorers any more, and I always tried to look for alternatives that look like it. tx.taxi fits in so well.

Though its currently working now but seems from the previous months like the month posted by OP its just endless loading I thought its my internet connection problem also ive change my DNS too but still the same outcome. Instead I just use the Blockchair for checking the transaction fees. Or else we have here the List of useful Bitcoin block explorers

This is cool and should be shared, I think. Opening a dedicated discussion for this platform will serve the community. Currently, exploring the platform, there was already a thread for this in the Nigerian board, and I will look at my local board if there is an exciting discussion about this or were included in my local board compilation of mempool alternatives.

Also, considering that this site is a product of an exchange operator that is simultaneously developing other projects (tx.taxi being one of 5 projects within their ecosystem), it’s unclear which of these projects they are prioritizing for active development.

The developers haven’t been aggressively promoting tx.taxi in many places. I first came across it when someone posted about it in the XMR telegram group, iirc.

I can't remember when I last tried to load it on my desktop, but on my mobile phone, yes, I often tried, and for the last couple of months, if not a year (I can't remember the actual time it started), it's unusually very slow. I mean, it could struggle for many minutes before it loaded. I believe the problem is resident, and using a slow connection will aggravate it. That's why @Lucius's Tor or VPN connection could struggle more because the connection he was routed to could be slow.

Along the line, out of curiosity, I abandoned mempool.space and discovered mempool.emzy.de. It has been flawless in loading.
