What happened:: One of the newbies who registered their account today posted a wallet claiming it to be the Official Trump Wallet, supposedly belonging to President Trump, and that $1M in $TRUMP tokens is being distributed to early supporters, and that everyone only has 24 hours to join the queue, and they must click on certain buttons, including the connect wallet button. This is completely false after checking Trump’s official accounts.

[1] US Official Trump Wallet Waitlist Now Live!

President Trump and his team have just launched the official waitlist for the Trump Wallet Coin — and it's moving fast.

💰 A total of $1,000,000 in $TRUMP tokens is being distributed to early supporters.
⏳ You have just 24 hours from now to join the queue, click a few buttons, and secure your spot.

No complex steps — it's simple, fast, and potentially historic.

The post has been deleted by a mod, i am pretty sure nobody fell for that in this forum, but i am also certain that the scammer has posted this in different forums and social media platforms, so i hope people over there are not so gullible to fall for this cheap scam.
Always do your own research and verify links through official celebrity or presidential accounts and reputable news sites to ensure the legitimacy of what you come across.
Sometimes the scammers hack social media accounts of celebrities and popular individuals and use it to scam people. So people should not even believe anything that looks too good to be true, even if it is coming from official/popular profiles/accounts. If it requires you to send funds to receive double of it, that is also a scam, if it requires you to connect your wallet to a website, do your research first, it could definitely be a scam.

Thank you for letting me know about that. The mods also nuked his account, and even if he posted it in other forums, if someone takes the time to search for that scam wallet on a search engine, they might come across my thread and avoid connecting their wallet.

You are absolutely right, and that’s why people should verify through other sources such as reputable news sites. In fact,, we have seen many celebrity accounts that were hacked, so any tempting offers Like what was written about this wallet that the scammer posted here, or coins suddenly promoted as investment opportunities, or anything similar, َshould definitely be ignored and not tried, as the consequences would be severe.

Usually, a fake wallet is regarded as malware or phishing tool/website, so the moderators will delete and nuke the account that posted it if it's brand new. I have taken the initiative of reporting the website to Google Safe Browsing. Hopefully, it gets flagged son to avoid any future ignorant would be victims.

The thread does not get deleted, you can just report it in this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182222.0 (those guys are usually fast acting)
