It depends on whether there has been a huge problem with gambling. Especially if it affects the peace and order of a certain society, because some people become violent when they run out of money or when they are buried in debt. It's either they steal or even kill out of desperation.
Frequent gambling won't be a problem as long as the people outside these vices are not gonna be affected. At the end of the day, it is always us who are responsible for what we have done.

Should this is be good deterrent to at least minimized gambling in a certain country? Or does it force gamblers to uses illegal means or even travel outside of the country that has this strict law to continue with their gambling?

If that's the case it's good to see that the government of them or the country itself really care about their people, yes they release a license to the casino but still they knew the cons of excessive gambling so they created at least a safety precaution for the people about too much gambling. Of course to have this for sure the casino is already aware with the terms or with the regulations. For me im favor with this as being active in gamblin,g sometimes people make a wrong decisions such as making revenge on the casino with this it limits their urge to play more and get addicted.

I agree, if this is done then there's no difference between such a thing and putting a ban to it completely because gambling should be all about making choices, setting a limit deprives gamblers of making doing what they set out to do even if it might have some advantages. I cannot support the government on this because its like intruding to me, they don't have right to decide for us, we can think on our own self about what is good for us and not, and if it were to be about the addicted gamblers, we shouldn't take that for allowing government take charge for us, the percentage of those irresponsible gamblers are quite smaller compared to those that are gambling the normal way, government cannot prevent the worse form happening, they can only correct or advise before it happens.

Our government is trying to do this but not in actuality it but with the news of unlinking the e-wallets to the casino apps and platforms. That's the initiative that they did. And I think that they will create a law or an executive order from our president to have a daily limit for each user. The revenue of the casinos will drop a lot but they will help to discipline our fellow countrymen whos are addicted to gambling. We all know that the alot of gamblers will somehow bypass this law with the use of VPN and/or crypto casinos to hide their identity. But then, it is still a good move by the government to restore sanity back to the gamblers. Even though it will not work for all the gamblers in the country, the few gamblers that will maintain this gambling limit set by the government will be a plus to the government. I think this type of limit could be helpful for the gambler who can't control himself/herself. But those who has good amount of money and afford more loss they may not want to obey the terms and they will try to break the terms. Overall I think setting limit is the best way.
