Good morning, first of all, I apologize but I don't speak English very well (I use a translator).

I'd like to ask you for some advice. This is my first time mining cryptocurrency and I'd like to explore it. I'd like to start mining Kaspa and I've seen the Bitmain Antminer KS5 for $1,000; I'd like to get two of them. My question to you experts is: is this hardware reliable or should I leave it alone? If not, what can you recommend based on your experience? Always for Kaspa mining (or at most Doge and Litecoin).
Thank you very much in advance.s

For a start, I suggest you 1st go to Beginners and Help area and look around there.

2: This area is for Bitcoin only - NO altcoins. Go to Mining (Altcoins) for for discussions about Kaspra miners.

3: Check out the LOCAL areas to find one in your native language.

- For bitcoin to succeed the community must police itself -    My info useful? Donations welcome!  3NtFuzyWREGoDHWeMczeJzxFZpiLAFJXYr

Standard questions:
Cost of electricity?
Permissible power consumption?
Industrial ASICs are noisy. Can such equipment be used in your premises?
An apartment is definitely not suitable for this.

Next, we enter the data into the calculator.
https://www.asicminervalue.com/ru/miners/bitmain/antminer-ks5-20th

Next, we study the nearest service centers or private workshops for repairing mining equipment.
Check with them what models they repair and how long it will take to repair your model in case of standard breakdowns.

Mining is a long term game, so don't expect to get profits or break even so soon. Mining requires passion just like any other business and also has risks. At certain points you will even be operating at losses. Are you willing to go through that Journey? If yes, then you are ready for mining. If not but you want to deal with crypto, then I suggest you buy a good coin (preferably in the bear market) and then hold it for long term investment without breaking much sweat.

The first thing you are definitely going to look at is the electricity cost in your Area. How is it?

If you have some engineering experience and the necessary location with inexpensive electricity, then the payback of the equipment is from 12 to 18 months, but it depends on the price of the coin. In a growing market, the payback is higher. If these basic factors are not present, then mining will be risky for you, and you will be dependent on other people.
