The least time for me happens be four years, because after every four years, any money you’ve invested in Bitcoin would have given you sufficient amount of profit. If you then wish to invest for a longer time, you can now be targeting another bull run which will last for another four years making it eight years of solid investment. If you as a holder decides not to sell after four years during the bull cycle, you have ti wait for another four years and cannot sell in between those years because it will be bearish season which your investment may have loss its value for the time being.

Now, if I do not have enough capacity to invest, then I will never be able to keep my investment for long term and I will not be able to keep it for short term either because even if I earn, I will have to use it for my expenses. But everyone should have a plan because thinking about the future, every person plans to do something for long term, be it in Bitcoin or in Fiat, but if it is in Bitcoin, then it must be for 10 to 12 years because when a particular day or year is fixed, that investment has to be kept till that time.
