Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create a tool to make it easier for you to create tables for posts. It may not be optimal yet, but it's working so far.

What this generator can do:

Custom Generator: Create tables from scratch with many styling options (borders, colors, etc.).

• Excel Converter: Have data in Excel? Just upload it and it will automatically become a BBCode table. Currently, it only supports simple data.
• CSV Converter: Copy and paste CSV data to convert it into a table.
• HTML Converter: Convert tables from HTML to BBCode.

Styling and output have been optimized for the Bitcointalk forum, as the idea originated there.

For Ready-to-Use Templates:

This tool also provides several ready-to-use templates to speed up table creation, such as:

• Football Match: For match schedules and results.
• Table with List: For creating lists within table cells without styling.
• Smart List Table: A table with advanced borders that can automatically handle multi-row cells and contain list. Auto cut long text to create new line.
• And several other standard templates.

Thank you, I hope this tool helps you. For this campaign, I'm using a limited database, so I can only view it for one week. The 8th day might not be visible in the campaign section. However, you can use the profile check feature on the homepage. Or, if you prefer, I also have a bot to track OPEN/CLOSE campaigns and check the number of posts in a week.

The amount of work you put in this project is admirable, so much stuff has been added since the last time I saw it! 

As I was trying the table generator again, an idea came to mind. What do you think of using horizontal rule for the borders? This would cover the full width of the column instantly based on how long the content is. I think it will be a nice option for users who want the border length adjusted automatically.

I'm just thinking of adding it as an additional option in the border style, since there are cases in which users would prefer to adjust it manually, or want a fixed column width, in which the text would simply continue in a new line like how it does currently. It would be totally up to their preference.

Something crazy would be a mix of both, in which there must be border style rules where they can choose specifically which column borders are fixed and automatic.

There also is a difference in spacing between the tool's live preview and the forum which affects the output. It's most likely because the live preview is teletyped/monospaced while the forum is not. As you can see, there seems to be more room for text in Header 1 above, compared to the one below.

Thank you for trying out this new version. I'm so glad you and the other members are so enthusiastic about this tool. Regarding your feedback:
1. I will try to implement a horizontal line without separators
2. For fixed width, you need to set the border width, For text that automatically creates a new line, it will calculate the length of the sentence, then break it up for balance and add space. i think, custom version maybe able do more to implement your idea.

It's a nice tool and it you hadn't made a thread about it I'm very sure many members here wouldn't have known that this table was part of signatools too. It will definitely come in handy especially for things like arrangements or entries in contests.

But hey, why dont you create a browser extension?
It would be much easier for users to use it.

Yeah it will save the stress of opening multiple tabs to work with and OP should also share the entire stuff once he's done. Anyways, bitmover, I think  I may be seeing this your extension for the first time.

This is a great tool! Although BBcode is quite easy and creating a table isn't that hard, this tool automates an easy, but time-consuming task, especially if we're talking about a large amount of data. I also like that they're pre-made templates to use, rendering the creation of tables extremely fast. Great job! This would also rock if you turned it into a Chrome extension just like @bitmover mentioned earlier. Thank you for your contribution into making the forum a better place!

Just like what i said on the other forum this is a great help to those who needs larger tables and data. And thanks its now mobile responsive.

Although there are browsers have auto translate feature especially in  updated mobile browsers, if possible make the page in English language by default, i guess anyone here can understand english by far.

Hi, It should be English by default, I will check why it happens. in case it show Indonesian, you can click the english button and no need to use auto translate feature from browsers.

For creating URL inside post you just need to type the url bbcode manually, no option for insert for now.

Update: After receiving some feedback, here are the updates I can provide:

Fixed mixed language under collapsible guide

Added a cell-by-cell data input feature using input form model.

Added a list using input form model by clicking the plus icon below each cell.

Added an automatic border feature. This only works with the HR line version.

Added manual and automatic border lengths for the HR version. Therefore, you must set the global border to automatic to use the automatic feature. If you only set the content border style to automatic, the border version will be different between cell. ┏ ┓ ┃ • example if you are not setting border type with all automatic ┃ ┗ ┛

Full line support hasn't been implemented yet; I'm still working on a way to ensure the border doesn't break on certain rows and columns.
For now, this is the update I can provide, I will try to make the automatic border more dynamic next time.

FYI, this extension still uses the old website format and does not support cell-by-cell input, as I'm using that version, not the current web version. Don't forget to provide feedback on this extension. If you find any bugs, please report in this thread.

Maybe you should think about making a small update to make it easier and quicker to add inserts and links.

I'll try to implement it through a generator to make inserting URLs easier in the future. However, it might not be anytime soon due to my busy schedule.

Yes, you need to click the icon to use the generator. It's the same as using other popup extensions. This isn't a direct injection model into the Bitcointalk textbox.
