40 satoshi? I'd use the lightning network for that. But then if you don't already have them in the lightning network, you would need to pay more to convert them to LN.

Also, what do you mean by "service that allows sending such small amounts"? You want to send that amount to someone and you're just wondering about a wallet that lets you do that? Or you want an exchange to convert this small amount to another coin.

You can always send any amount but dust transactions are not really useful (moving this would requires much more fees).

My suggestion, if you can't use an other crypto, why not just use a LN channel for this transaction?
Fees would be negligible and this is designed for this kind of small transaction.

edit: yes the same as reported already by OmegaStarScream

Can you suggest any service that can do this? Some wallet or exchange (no kyc). I need to send dust to a bitcoin wallet

How do I know if the address I'm sending dust to supports Lightning?

Do you think it's possible to collect dust on bitcoin faucets and then send it?

If bitcoin price is $109000, that is around $0.0436. That is too small but you can make use of your wallet to send it. Set the fee to 1 sat/vbyte. The mempool is not congested, it will be confirmed.

1 input and 2 outputs on bitcoin noncustodial wallet in a transaction will not take more than $0.16. If he is patient and ready to learn, he can go less than 1 sat/vbyte using the guide below.

Bitcoin have something called dust limit. It prevent many wallet from letting sending such small amount to other address and some nodes wouldn't relay such transaction. Maybe you want to tell us your goal since it sounds like you fall into XY problem.

Bitcoin mempools recent weeks can give chances of broadcasting transactions into mempools and getting confirmations by Bitcoin miners with transaction fee rates smaller than 1 sat/vbyte.

It was possible to broadcast transactions with fee rates lower than 1 sat/vbyte in many years if you are not Bitcoin mining pools. Fortunately, it has become more comfortable and possible in 2025.
[Aug 2025]Mempool empty, Consolidate your small inputs @0.27 sat/vbyte

Thanks for this post, I have forgotten that there are coins that are dust and that will not be relayed by the nodes. For legacy addresses, it is 546 sat. For native segwit addresses, it is 294 satoshi. For taproot addresses, it is 330 satoshi. Any amount less than that amount of coins are dust. Maybe this will help OP.

Maybe the off chain transactions that can be done from exchange A to exchange A. It will cost you nothing if that's the amount you'll send.

But I don't know if that's the minimum amount you can send because it's most likely that it's more than that amount.

It's a tiny amount and so it's unlikely you'll be able to send that and have to pay for more so you'll get either the minimum requirement amount to transfer or fee.

Several other users have provided answers for you, please read their explanations carefully.

However, if I were you, I would leave that small portion of Bitcoin alone, as I don't see any use for it at this point. What would it be for, even if it were exchanged?. This makes me wonder if you are just using it for experimentation, don't you?. Even if you intend to exchange it for other cryptocurrencies or fiat, I think it would be of little use, I don't mean to judge you, but I think we could try other ways if a small exchange is necessary, such as selling other unused items for exchange, or make an effort to gain profit in order to make the exchange (if that is your goal), so it doesn't need to disturb the small part of Bitcoin that you have, cmiiw.

I'm also curious to know the motivations to send such a small amount of sats to another wallet. without the intention of questioning or judging, OP, but could you clarify our doubts?

Maybe we'll learn something, or maybe you'll give us original ideas.

You can send 0.0000004 BTC from your wallet, I think you will not have any problem. But I want to know what wallet are you using? If you are using an exchange, then maybe you will not be able to send 0.0000004 BTC because there is a minimum withdrawal that will not allow you, but if you are using your own wallet like Trust wallet, Safepal wallet, Electram wallet, etc., then I think you can send this amount of 0.0000004 BTC.

But of course you need to customize the mempool to 1sat/vbyte. Since not all the wallets I mentioned here have the mempool set directly to 1sat/vbyte, you need to customize it.

Before people answer you, I think you should tell us why you are sending such a ridiculously low amount (≈$0.044).

40 satoshi? I'd use the lightning network for that. But then if you don't already have them in the lightning network, you would need to pay more to convert them to LN.
Either way, this is ridiculous, unless he is trying to create his own service that will be able to achieve that. I've not seen a service going that low. But if there is any willingness to do that, especially the Lightning Network, what about the larger amount that will be paid to push it through? I see this as a joke, to be honest, it doesn't make any sense from every angle.

You will pay more than this amount as fees when you send this through any other means except the LN when you have the coin in the network already just like OmegaStarScream said. The amount is too small to bother yourself with because even if you had it in LN, you will end up not achieving anything unless you want to use that as a test before doing a bigger transaction.

No, most of the nodes will not accept such transaction because it would be seen as dust. I posted the dust amount in my previous post to know how much they are in sat. At least you need to send an amount higher than them before the transaction can be broadcasted. They are a very low amount of money that is not up to $1.

No wallet will allow this. Ask your local miner for help.

You can try using SafePal wallet from where you can deposit your specified amount of BTC to another address.

Tell me please  which wallets support this customizing?
SafePal Wallet, Trustlet supports customization here where you can fully customize the mempool and reduce fees. I will show you through a screenshot so you can try it out.
