Hello BitcoinTalk friends,

First of all, a big thank you 🙏 to everyone who asked questions and gave us feedback. Let me respond to each of you one by one:

@Haunebu
✔ You are right, the mix of Persian/English was confusing. In the new version, English is now the default language, so no need to switch manually.
✔ Regarding participants: we currently run daily & weekly Toto rounds with an active Persian community, and now opening international pools. Liquidity grows transparently from entry fees, distributed 70/20/10 among winners.

@traderethereum
✔ Thank you for the warm welcome!
✔ We listened: English is now the default for all new visitors. Navigation, rules, and UI are fully understandable without translation.
✔ Our thread here will also be updated with visuals and clearer explanations to attract more global users.

@internetional
✔ Good question about decentralization. At this stage, when we say "decentralized," we mean full transparency of pools, entries, and payouts on-chain — not yet a DAO or smart contracts.
✔ We do not accept Bitcoin at the moment, only USDT (ERC20, TRC20, BEP20). But adding BTC is under consideration if there’s demand.

@notblox1
✔ Exactly! English is now the default, with Persian and other languages available as options.
✔ Thanks for pointing out the confusion — the new design makes it clear that this is a prediction contest platform, not just an article site.

@CryptSafe
✔ Terms & Conditions: we agree, they were too short. We’re rewriting them with full clarity about fees, withdrawals, and fairness.
✔ To clarify: ✅ No KYC required, ✅ Fast deposits/withdrawals, ✅ Transparent prize pools.
✔ Our community is expanding, and the numbers are steadily increasing with each game. That’s exactly why we are here on Bitcointalk.

@The Cryptovator
✔ About our history: BiTaraf started as a local Persian Toto community in 2006 (mainly through offline gatherings and forums).
✔ Later, we expanded online under the domain btaraf.com and remained active for several consecutive years.
✔ Unfortunately, due to local restrictions in our country at that time, it was not possible to continue operating.
✔ The current domain was registered in 2025 for the relaunch, but the idea and community go back nearly 20 years.
✔ And yes, we’re building for the long term — not a short experiment.
@Baby Shoes
✔ You are right: even after switching to English, some team/club names were still in Persian. This is now fixed — all leagues and team names display in English by default.
✔ To answer your last question: BiTaraf is not a sportsbook. It’s a skill-based group prediction contest (Toto). Unlike sportsbooks, here you don’t bet on one game’s odds — you predict multiple results, compete in a pool, and prizes are distributed transparently.

🟢 Proof of Pool (Transparency Mechanism)
We have built a unique Proof of Pool system:

  • After the deadline of each contest, all submitted forms (including usernames + predictions) become publicly downloadable.
  • This means everyone can verify the entries and predictions.
  • Since forms are revealed only after the deadline, nobody can change their predictions.

➡️ Result: full transparency & zero manipulation.

✅ Updates applied:

Default site language = English

Club names fully shown in English

Terms & Conditions update in progress

Proof of Pool system live (downloadable forms after contest deadlines)

We invite everyone here to try the upcoming international Toto rounds and share feedback directly.

I'm a little confused seeing this bookie, this is not like a bookie in general, where the usual bookie bettors make a deposit and choose a bet if they win then the money will increase according to the odds chosen, not the prize that is obtained but the winnings, while reading in the FAQ there are prizes 1, 2 and 3 based on the correct bet, maybe Op can explain more.

Are you seeing any signs of such demand?
I regularly read this forum, and the more I do, the stronger my impression gets that gambling is becoming one of the main use cases for Bitcoin. I hardly see this much discussion about any other use case.
Still, it’s hard for me to believe that.
What do you think: could bitcoin holders actually be interested in services like this?

If they would be the target audience having something to gain (more than others do with just fiat / crypto), than surely, there would be a flock of people, it's just the fact that if it's needed at all to create such a target, imo Wink

Seems they are not serious about their business. Imagine what they are saying. Bitcoin is non-negotiable when it comes to online gambling activities, as Bitcoin is the highest in-demand crypto used for gambling, and this is the first thing every casino puts into consideration as they plan to launch. This is a thing of getting prepared before launch so that you do not lose customers to other platforms just because you ignored or neglected to make sure you included a much-demanded crypto on your casino.

👋 Thanks everyone for the follow-up questions — let me clarify point by point:

@Strongkored
BiTaraf is not a “bookie” in the traditional sense — it’s a Toto-style prediction contest.
Every player joins with minimum 1 USDT and fills a 15-match prediction form.
By default, you pick one outcome per match. If you want to cover multiple outcomes (e.g. win/draw/loss), the cost increases progressively.
After matches finish, winners are ranked based on the highest number of correct predictions. For example, if the best score in a round is 14/15, that becomes the top rank.

💰 Prize Pool Split
1st place → 70% of Total pot
2nd place → 20% of Total pot
3rd place → 10% of Total pot

So unlike a sportsbook (where you only multiply by odds), here you compete in a transparent pool — a Toto model — meaning even with 1 USDT you could end up winning the entire accumulated prize.

@internetional / @nemesis_incarnate
You raise a good point about Bitcoin demand. We are actively testing whether our community prefers BTC or stablecoins.
Right now, most of our Persian community preferred stablecoins (USDT) for simplicity and fast transactions.
However, we recognize that Bitcoin is historically the #1 currency for online gambling — and yes, there is clear demand.
Our roadmap already includes adding Bitcoin support for deposits/withdrawals. We simply chose to start with USDT to ensure smooth launch operations, and then expand.

@CryptSafe
We completely understand your skepticism. Let me clarify:

Not including Bitcoin at launch doesn’t mean we’re not serious.
In fact, our approach was to start lean with USDT (which avoids volatility and is widely accepted in our existing market), and then expand to Bitcoin once we stabilized operations.
Development for Bitcoin integration is already on the table — we want to do it right, with proper wallet infrastructure and Proof of Pool integration, rather than rushing it.
So yes, we agree: Bitcoin is non-negotiable in the long term. That’s exactly why it’s in our next development phase.

I'll be honest: even after Bitaraf's reply that they clearly see demand for bitcoins, it's still hard for me to believe. I guess I still have a bias that bitcoins are something too valuable to just lose in a game.

CryptSafe, do you personally gamble with bitcoins?

hello i participated in Giti contest and finished 1st place with 10 correct predictions out of 15 games.
screen: https://ibb.co/7J54hKxr

The contest page clearly stated that the prize for 1st place was 3,046.995 USDT.
screen: https://ibb.co/prLVDccG

However, only 507.833 USDT was credited to my account.

Why ??
