In order to see bitcoin’s progress, we need to use it also as a currency because that’s how it should be utilized, and that’s how Satoshi wanted it to be. But looking how potential bitcoin is as a current investment tool, we can’t blame the people if they stick using it as an investment. There’s bigger chances of profits if we save it and invest, than spending it and see it vanish like thin air, it’s like you only let your future money flew in the air.

For now, bitcoin is good as an investment so let’s maximize its high potentials while it’s still around. And maybe in the future, we can start spending our bitcoin hopefully once we have stored huge amount already.

I do not use Bitcoin for spending, rather I have chosen Bitcoin as the best for holding. I prefer to use Bitcoin as a tool for savings and not spending because that will benefit me in terms of making a profit from Bitcoin. If I use it as a tool for spending, my Bitcoin amount will be reduced and I will lose my chance to make a profit. Why not both? As I am using it for both purposes, I am receiving these btc payments from signature and using them as dca and using them for personal use as well. Although right now in my country we don't have options to directly use our BTC to buy and sell something so I have to do p2p.

It is good to use btc for paying things directly too, maybe now we can see such thing because Pakistan has taken some good steps in the crypto industry as they have given the regulatory license to Binance and HTX exchanges, and for vendors and customers, directly sending funds as payments will be easy and cost free even if they are paying with BTC.

It's a blessing for people who live in a country where Bitcoin is not legal. Since they can't spend it because of regulations, the only option they have is to HODL it. I agree. Well, I can only say that it depends on the person on what that person will decide. Let's say about you as the example, you said you use it for dca and for personal use. Another example, let's say it's me as an example which I use Bitcoin for saving/investment/holding and not using it to buy or something like that. I see what you mean, and that’s a fair way to look at it.
I think the difference often comes down to intent. People who plan to save usually feel the need to understand value and risk first, while spending can happen with much less conviction, simply because the decision feels more temporary.
Volatility plays a role here too. Those who understand it tend to be more deliberate, whether they spend or save. Others might spend without much thought precisely because they don’t see it as long-term value yet.

It is a little less appropriate when we make things like this an option when we are in bitcoin because in the end this is clearly not an option for us to have to take one while the other option is considered wrong because as long as the focus is on bitcoin with all our uses in the end it is okay for us to do anything.

The analogy is not too far with fiat where as long as we can still save it for the short term then we will do it.

Actually i want both but the situation in my country have encourage me to considers bitcoin as investment tool although bitcoin is legal as payment method but the merchants in my country mostly didn't dare to put bitcoin as payment method option at their store the reason is because the prices of bitcoin is very fluctuative which they fear it will not profitable for their bussiness

For investment options i have seen some people have flexing their wealth and all they got currently by holding bitcoin for years which these people have proven holding bitcoin for long term is very profitable that's why many people have inspiring to them and starting to make bitcoin as future investment but indeed behind all of the technology which bitcoin have i think for the current situation considers bitcoin as saving or investment is the right decision
