It all depends, some take their time for a routine upgrade because they have the sense of responsibility that makes everyone to always have something new and unique form the previous experience, while some platforms don't implement or work on this at all.

To answer your questions in order - there may be occasions where graphics are refined, but generally all games on most of the large professional casino sites would have met a minimum quality standard at release. They'd probably gain more value from their designers if they simply get them to spend time on new skins for existing games which they can then push out as something brand new and look like they have a bigger game catalog. I would say that messing around with proven popular games is a terrible idea, as people can get very comfortable with the exact style and may stop playing if it changes. For those games which use specific licensing agreements with certain brands, e.g. cartoon characters, they will definitely get approval prior to release and probably go through a long re-approval process if they want to change them.

I think the best idea on this which i will like to suggest is to always update for what we have, this will create an avenue in keeping our gamblers in anticipation for what may be the next upgrade they are going to receive from the casino, but being used to a particular style and games may be tiring sometimes, while introducing additional games and also enhancing on the existing one s could make the whole idea more lucrative to do, only if we cant look at the cost of all these implementations.

With the little experience I have gotten from virtual sport I think they only slot in new games and remove the older, since is something that is already programmed for people not to find out the secret. Because if they keep repeating that same game people can easily get them, I'm sure that there is no much difference between casino and virtual sport, though I'm not really good at Casinos so I don't know if casino also work the same with virtual sport.

I don't think casinos upgrade slot games except games created by the casinos as their original games. Most slot games are developed by people not connected to the casino and approved by the regulators, any changes to the games will be done by their providers. This is why you see the name of the provider of the various games written in the games.

Slots are very straightforward with very little that can be upgraded on. Casinos usually have a lot of slot games, so they do not have to discard a game to launch another.

I would think so. Game providers own the games, the casinos cannot make changes that is not allowed or permitted by the providers.

I don't think they discard old games if they release new upgraded slot games. Look at Sweet Bonanza; they have many different ones, but the old one, or original one, still exists. The same as the fortune gems, they had 1, 2, and 3, but they're still still exist.

I'm not a gambling owner, but I don't know if there's a restriction from the original game, but since the developer is the same, I think there's none.

I believe they keep enhancing the security and fixing bugs on existing games.

I think this question must be asked directly to developers, not from gamblers, or ask this to casino owners.

They don’t upgrade the existing slot games rather they just released upgraded versions with changes and remain the previous slot games rather accessible because they considered it as classic.

You will notice that popular games such as sweet bonanza has a lot of variant such as the 1000 version, super scatter and other different themes.

The only upgrade that I knew on existing slot game is the enhance RTP.

Ill answer the first wo questions.

1. Some casino upgrade the current slot games they have if there is need for modification of characters and introduction of new characters. While others entirely create a new slot game. Now you see this is based on what the casino chose to do we cannot predict what a particular casino would do in this case.
2. Upgrade in which aspect? Because if the results and functionality is still the same, nothing changes for the player.

There are two different games we can see in a casino, one type is created by the casino itself which is called originals and may go through some tweaks in animation or graphics over the time but the most games we see on a casino is provided by gaming providers who create this and rent it to the casino so they are responsible for the games and all those things in it and they usually don't upgrade their designs very often but they often introduce new type of slot games.

Upgrade happens but not in all games and depending on the games provider and the code used to develop those games, we have some games that the developers can temper with the original script for any reason, this one's remain same all year time out.

Nowadays we see more and more casinos developing their own slot games, which they will label and make known to players. For such games they can easily upgrade and make any changes they want, but for the ones for which they partner with providers, they don't have access to making such upgrades; it will be up to the provider to check the people's demand and make changes based on the request.

I would say it's more common to do new titles. Game providers typically release new games regularly. However, we've seen them release a different version of their hit titles a lot like the 1000s, super scatter, xmas edition or just making a second one e.g. Pirate Bonanza 2—emphasis on 2.

I think the latter works for them. Generally, releasing new stuff is eye catching + they will be piggybacking on their already hit titles popularity.

People get used to gambling on their favorite slots and they grow fond of them, regardless on how outdated they are when compared to new slots which come out to the market. Casinos seemly prefer to adopt the strategy of accumulating as many popular slots as possible and not to upgrade them much of the loyal fan base of such slot stays high through time. Sweet bonanza is a good example of a slot which does not require updates in their graphic design, it is already recognizable by most gamblers and has caught the attention of many through the years.

Does it not depend on the provider of these games? Most of the time casinos take already existing games but if any game is trending or any provider seem to offer better services then they’ll probably go there.

I am sure since customers have already built some sort of “connection” and they already have sentiment on those old games they might find it hard to play the new ones.

I really think it depends and there’s no straight answer. If the upgrades won’t really be improving the game and won’t bring in new wave of costumers then it’s not worth the expenses.

I have been playing slot for a while now but I have not noticed any upgrade in any of the games I play, the character is the same as well as everything. What I have seen is the creation of new games every now and then by both the casinos and private providers. We have more games now than before, maybe some of the new games are improvements of games that existed but I don't think the previous games are completely disbanded. I don't have idea what the cost of onboarding new games will be but casinos go for games that will improve their business from providers that have no bad reputation.

Although they have so many variations, slot games aren't really different from each other. So, I guess they're not completely discarded once new versions are released. It seems the differences are basically superficial. Strictly speaking, they're not necessarily upgrades. They're just new releases after doing a little tweaking here and there on existing ones.

I think graphics or skin level changes are allowed by software providers depending on the agreement. Or perhaps they're also the ones commissioned by the casinos themselves to personalize the games a bit to fit the casinos' character.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, I don't think it's simply either-or. Surely, there are both casino games made from scratch and enhanced games that became a big hit and a dud.

Developing a game from scratch will require a lot more resources than enhancing an existing one that may just require some few tweaks to major characters or color changes, and slight upgrades that require less work.

There are some upgrades that are more expensive than others of course, but I still do not think to the extent of developing something new.

I can see the casinos releasing new scenes and characters for a slot if they are very popular. For example in Brazil the most famous slot is Fortune Tiger where brazilians call "Tigrinho" and are even in famous funk songs. I think the game provider would prefer releasing new updates to fortune tiger than releasing a new one that will just be burried between all the others hundreds of slots.

They can release a christmas scene for december or put a beach on the tiger and on the slots when its summer. This makes people not get tired of the visual of the slot so they keep playing as a novel.
