Could BGB Emerge as the Dark Horse Driving the Future of Exchange Tokens?

I’ve always been a fan of CEX tokens and have posted about them here regularly — though a few times I’ve been called out for it, haha. Personally, I think they can deliver strong gains while being less volatile than many other tokens. Their growth tends to be steady and consistent, since the success of the exchange itself usually drives the value of the token.

Recently, some of these exchanges have started following a path similar to BNB, adding on-chain utilities to their tokens. I believe this makes them even more attractive to hold.

First, it was OKB; now it’s BGB (thanks to the partnership with MORPH Morph partnership announcement). I’m really looking forward to seeing how these tokens perform and what the next big development will be.

For my part, I’ll be adding more to my BGB bag right now. Hopefully, we’ll see the price hit $20 before Q2 of next year. Do you think that’s feasible, or am I getting ahead of myself?

We do not know if next year would be bear market. Even if bitcoin is not significantly affected, we do not know how altcoins will be affected. Altcoins price are more volatile and the reason I can not hold BGB.

Am not also used to these exchanges tokens, but there's this sure probability of them being promising at the end as long as the exchange also could maintain its relevance and reputation from how it exists, after a long time, they may proof being profitable on a long term, but we shouldn't invest only on them, because other coins or tokens may be well to do during these periods we might be holding on the exchange tokens.

I'm not underrating BGB token and its utility, the problem is that Burn mechanism will occur periodically. Recently, 1.02 billion worth of BGB burned, but it gives no impact to the price. In fact, it's depreciated a little bit just after the announcement of burning the tokens.

Nevertheless, i'm still feeling so bullish for the long term as per the latest announcement. BGB will be burning until there will be only 100 millions token circulated in the market. Let's say the current supply is 900m,, when it's gonna be burn until 100m means 8/9 of supply will be burned. It's possible to expect the price to perform at least 5x increase for long term.

Things get better when BGB will be also used as a governance and gas token in Morph network.

Yes, it is. Me saying $20 is speculative, but it's a possibility. Imagine if the token expands to more blockchains—this would mean more Payfi utilities and more exposure. I like your prediction, and I'll be paying close attention to this token. I missed BNB when it was below $30; I’m not missing this one, ahaha

Yeah, exchange token is basically having very good fundamental. The more features will involve the token like Binance did, the better price action to be showed by the token. Just hold it, and always farming yield from candybomb or launchpool. It's always good by holding exchange token, we always be served the cake everytime as exchange sites will always be concudcting the airdrop for its users.

Exchange coin holders do have the opportunity to receive airdrop allocations if a project partners with their exchange and allocates coins to their holders. This happens frequently. I own a small amount of BGB, but the exchange still rewards me. Although the value isn't much, they are certainly committed to it.

BGB's market cap is still smaller than BNB's, and it likely has the potential for gradual growth. Given how BGB has held its support for quite some time, or if it's still in a sideways phase, this presents an opportunity.

Furthermore, they also have a token burn program, which will boost public confidence that BGB also has the potential for significant price increases. They have very strong fundamentals as a CEX.

Utility tokens can be slow in value increase and may be seen as unattractive to investors, but we have to know that on the long run, their still come out as the best way of investing, one of their good side is that you as investors you be confident that there is an ecosystem that will drive the engagement of the token in the future, so even when the price movement is slow compared to other coins, you be sure that you consistently will keep growing, I can comfortably invest in any exchange token.

It is very very possible, I am seeing this quite late, but it doesn't matter. Here's my take on this speculation: With the level of infra shipping BG is doing currently, they might probably be in top 2 CEXs in a few years, their recent milestone of shifting from an ordinary CEX to a UEX, which stand for Universal exchange is awesome, they unified CEX+DEX+RWA. Now you can trade tokenized stocks on their exchange, I am not sure any other exchange is doing it yet. You also get to use their AI agent for DeFi trades. There is really alot to talk about but let me say this last one, their community mindedness, always giving back to their users in different events is awseome. They have Candybomb events,  launchpool events where you lock their native token to earn tokens listed on their Platform. One is currently ongoing, I saw it this afternoon, I think its $FF or so. All of these and others are why I believe BG may be one if not the biggest Exchange in the coming days and BGB may explode to very great price.
