UEFA Europa League is second biggest football tournament in Europe that was formerly known as UEFA Cup.

Season 2025-26 group stage is starting soon and we have 36 clubs participating this season, with first round starting on 24  and 25 September.

Top 8 teams in league phase will advance directly to knockout phase, and other 8 teams will be selected with knockout phase matches.
Last 12 teams in league phase are finishing this competition.

I checked early odds and they are showing Aston Villa, Roma, Betis, Bologna and Porto as biggest favorites to win the trophy, but I was surprised to see Nottingham Forest highly ranked.

Final match will is scheduled for 20 May 2026 and it will be played at Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sevilla won Europa League 7 times, but this season we only have Celta and Betis playing from La Liga.

I would not put most of them in Champions League, but there are a few teams that can compete on top level with other teams.
I dont remember what teams exactly but some of them dropped out of Champions League because they lost in qualification matches.
My real interest is to see how far Nottingham Forest can go this season.

I think for me F1 doesn't matter its my first time or 10th time I will never understand how to win that one. At least here, we can sort of guess half of the teams? I don't know maybe its too difficult to know until we start.

By far bro, by far. Even you can change picks after qualifying and you still can lose precious points, so for me now I never change after that to lose 2 precious Early Bru points. There's no way Europa is harder, right?

Since the LE starts so late (by the way, why? a week's delay relative to the Champions League), I'll wait, maybe someone will lure me into another pool  Literally a couple of hours before this pool was announced, I paid for the Champions League, it turns out I was in a hurry.
As for the tournament favorites, this is too big a group to seriously discuss now. The new format has significantly lowered the level of competition and increased randomness.

Something to do with making sure there are less and less interruptions and postponements I think. For example I read that almost no more teams will be playing double games in a week for the first half of the season, which is something quite rare.

Or somebody paid more money to do something and the football mafias agreed. Who knows hehe

IIRC, last season it also started later than Champions league. Same like last year, now we have some 1st round of Champions league on Thursday night, which usually was reserved for Europa league football. I think these changes is related with new format of UEFA competitions that was introduced last season.

For sure we are gonna have a ton of missed predictions in the first rounds, a lot of teams from low tier leagues makes surprises in this tournament so is impossible to predict, i can expect to see here more a thing of luck than skills at least in the first rounds.
