Wow...this thread sweet me for belle well well because e make me remember back days wey we dey primary school and secondary school, during independent day na so we go go stadium to match and the best school go win prize.

OP, I like this settings because he go make we the local boars participants enjoy the independence with these colorful drawings from the participants as a way to celebrate our own independence for the forum.

The board is doing great and I believe say soon other LB go start to follow our footstep.

You just dey remind me of those golden days wey independence celebration dey sweet pass Christmas. That stadium march past no be small thing oh some schools go rehearse tire just to carry first. Good old days!
This kind initiative dey bring back that community spirit wey dey make this forum fun. E good as everybody dey involved, even those wey no sabi draw go still try just to represent.

Due to limited resources at my disposal this moment, I have no option but to go by simple design using my cell phone. However, I present two (dark and colored) map of Nigeria to i.) represent the present reality and ii.) the actual Nigeria we're clamouring for. The Bitcoin logo with a royal crown is outside of the Map since the Nigeria government is yet to recognise and establish cordial relationship with Bitcoin.

The citizens are not happy with the current situation surrounding the country. Hence, I use dark color here to express our displeasure with current reality.


This second image represents the Nigeria we all want. A bright and fruitful nation that gives all equal rights and sense of belonging.

I am very happy to participate in this art contest. I love art and have many good ideas in my head but I could not express them through art. I actually wanted to show here to promote the independence of Nigeria within the map of Nigeria and also to explain through Nigerian football the interest of people in Bitcoin in this country. Black and white we are all one in Nigeria there is no difference here, we are all free. Since I am not a professional artist, you will judge how much I was able to express my concept through art. Above all, I am grateful to the respected moderators and members of the Naija Board and congratulations and best wishes for independence.

Bringing new context in this board always creates more engagement from the members in the local board, which I will also not like to be left behind.

So, I will also post my digital art, as mentioned in the rules. The context of my art tells a story. In it, you will see different Nigerian foods, Nigerian currency starting from the early 1960s, including the coins which are the kobo and other currencies. You will also see some of the Nigerian presidents, and you will also see some of the Nigerian games and activities that also defend the citizens’ rights, and many others.

Happy Independence to us once again, as Nigeria will soon reach its 65th year after Independence.

Boss Tonimez it's a nice drawing but I have few observations to make:1: the horse does not have eyes and the coat of arm is slanted. I would suggest that you make it straight since it simpolizses our strength and reach culture, I would like to add some things in the diagram above, The eagle 🦅 symbolizes our nation strength, horse 🐴 symbolizes the nations pride, the black shield represents the nations fertile soil. The coat of arm is our dignity and we must uphold it always. Naija we hail thee.

Thanks to OP for organizing such a unique event. There has been a lot of exciting work going on in our board for the past few days. A few days ago, the Fruit Craving Contest started. And now the art contest. The board is very festive when there is really a contest like this.

However, I am very weak in the field of art, I tried to make a poster. First of all, I generated some pictures with AI, and I tried to merge them together to make something. I don't know if I will qualify or not. But I tried out of desire.

My work is just the interpretation of how bitcoin is the pillar that is supporting the nation Nigeria. Without bitcoin I don't know what would have been the fate of the youth of this country. That was what inspired by art work. (Bitcoin the strong pillar holding Naija) No youth of this country will dispute this fact.

These are the parts of things that will keep our local board very active, as difference members are bringing different contests to the local board. Firstly, we have the Bitcoin fruit carving and decorations, in which a lot of members have participated, and here again, we’re having another amazing NAIJA INDEPENDENCE CREATIVE ART CONTEST, which is a great move for our local board. Because I’m very sure this is how it will continue every year, and as a result the board  will no longer dull it will be constantly active.

However, it’s my privilege to participate in this fantastic contest. Since I can see that a lot of members have come up with their own ideas by drawing different Nigerian arms, I also decided to draw a simple thing that will make my Naija people happy, which is the CBN logo.
