I do not believe this, people aren't ready to put in the work to make them positioned to be earning well, it's still about laziness because it's you've the specialized knowledge it skill to actually solve a problem, you'll be able to grab one or more opportunities that always fly around.

When you're only looking for quick money you'll mostly land into quick problems and gambling addiction isn't out of it. The laziness starts from the mind. As long as you're mentally lazy as not to think of ways to put in the work and help yourself, you choose the assumed easy way out.

I can not call it laziness but I can call it ignorance or lacking necessary information to know that gambling is not a way of making money. Anywhere people are making money, the people attention will be diverted to that to that thing. So if anyone make money from gambling and the person lacks the knowledge to know that gambling is not a way to make money, the person can be a victim and lose all the money. It may not even be about laziness. The person can be working hardly and yet be a victim.

Very correct, laziness is the problem that has eaten very deep into many gamblers mindset to the extent that the gamble and think that the will end somebody's business, if it so easy to win in gambling to make such millions don't they think that some casino owners would've tried doing that in other casinos, they would've played game in other casinos may they could win huge, some people are just crazy with their level of reasoning.

Laziness might be the initial motivation but I would say self-delusion is the fueling force behind most gambling addictions. They make themselves actually believe in their own bullshit that they can somehow outmaneuver mathematics itself and make gambling a full time job with a steady income. This is of course impossible. Or perhaps they think they can become rich someday as long as they keep trying. Either way, both trains of thought lead to the same train wreck. A ruined life and no money.

Like I always say, so many gamblers today came into gambling with the wrong approach. People always want shortcut in life but that doesn’t mean it’s laziness already since they only want makes life easier.

In this day and age, I can say it's true that laziness can potentially drive involvement in online gambling due to its easy access and widespread advertising, especially on social media, which can influence lazy people to believe that online gambling can make them money and make them rich. No one says you are wrong, although making money in the real world is hard but gambling can't even solve the problem because it's not an easy way to make money neither. Anyone who is lazy and thinks he can make quick money from gambling is just wasting their time. Gambling and expecting to become wealthy is not a short way to become poorer and lazier. It's better they look for other alternative to make money than gambling and expecting to escape poverty.

Like you said, only people that have tasted wins from gambling can turn down job opportunities or not take other jobs seriously because if they could make millions just by getting lucky their brain might want to adapt to that lifestyle even though it's impossible to always get lucky.
