^^ Attractive but in the last couple of fights of Inoue, isn't it he knock out his opponent out?
So that is very risky, but nevertheless, who knows, maybe this Akhmadaliev is really though as he has been calling Inoue for a fight. And the question is, are fans still excited on this fight or they know that this is a mismatch and not even close base on the odds of the sports bookies.

Though risky but this is going to be my bet: "over 8.5 @1.73" "Inoue by decision @4.xx"
I am more interested in over 8.5. At 1.73, that is the better bet for me. Definitely better than a decision win for Inoue. Inoue has a number of knockouts above round 8. And since Akhmadaliev is the younger fighter and equipped with a powerful punch, he will easily survive 8 rounds. Inoue by decision is not interesting because both boxers are strong punchers. It is not only Inoue who could end the fight with a blow. Akhmadaliev himself can do that. And I think he does not come into the fight only to survive. He is fighting to win and he usually knocks out opponents. He will not just climb the ring and do a Mayweather.

Inoue usually starts slow, and as what we have seen, when he was knockdown, it was early in the fight and probably that's another reason why he recovered so fast and then knock them out in the latter rounds. If Akhmadaliev is tough as what he said, then this fight could go in ten rounds. Just like how Inoue destroys Tapales, Marlon is very durable and so Inoue take some time to dissect and soften him. And when the right time comes, he unleashed his combo and knock Tapales down for good.

I was looking for the result of this fight as I thought that it had happened by now because of difference of Time Zone. However, what I found is the weigh-in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=772hDD6h68IBoth made it at the super bantamweight. Naoya Inoue 121.7 lbs vs. Murodjon Akhmadaliev 121.3 lbs. So maybe after the Alvarez vs Crawford fight then we can watch this fight later. Double header fight for boxing fans.

after Canelo vs Crawford this will take place the INOUE vs Akhmadaliev fight, what a weekend to have.
I just hope that AKhmadeliev will be successful this weekend just to see Onoue chase for a true star in the ring and stop choosing names. Just one big fight to change him.

Currently watching the co-main event on the Canelo Vs. Crawford fight on Netflix. Can't wait for that fight to happen. Anyway, the fight will be around 4 PM in our country (PH) so a few hours after this "Fight of the year" candidate fight, this we can watch another title fight yet again. What a Sunday we have right now. I don't see Inoue losing on this one TBH, but those 2 Knockdowns that he suffered in his last 2 fights are somewhat concerning, but at least that shows that he's not invincible at all. Like what I said, I'm not familiar with Akhmadaliev that much, but I saw some of his highlights, and he's strong. I wonder if he's strong enough to endure the punches of "The Monster" though.

And if he lands, then Inoue will just ate that punch and unleashed his own combo on Akhmadaliev. It was reported that Inoue will fight unbeaten Mexican Picasso next. Remember though that Picasso pulled out of the Inoue fight before. But who knows, maybe now he is more ready to face the champion in Japan for a bigger purse for him.

Akhmadaliev is too fresh and short in experince , with that good record still not good enough to face the monster. I am expecting Inoue to win the game, I am just still hoping that the challenger will do something to shake the champion. I am looking for a better opponent that will make the Monster better or fight one of the best in his division.

I thought Akhmadaliev would give Inoue some trouble since he was calling him out, but it turned out he just wanted a big fight and wasn’t really ready to face Inoue. Again it shows how Inoue has dominated the division, but he’s still staying here. I think it’s time for him to move up. Remember though that Picasso pulled out of the Inoue fight before.
But who knows, maybe now he is more ready to face the champion in Japan for a bigger purse for him.
Is this the fighter you’re talking about? Well, his record is undefeated and he’s had a lot of fights already, but he’s not really a KO artist—that’s the difference.

I did not bother to watch the fight; only die-hard Inoue fans will watch the event. The fight is very predictable; they are not a match. Inoue is too much for this division; no boxer in this division can match his power. There is no challenge for him, and the boxing community prefers to watch and talk about the Canelo-Crawford match. The boxing community wants to support boxers who are brave enough to challenge and risk their reputation, but they did not find it in the Inoue vs Akhmadaliev; they found it in the Canelo - Crawford fight. Inoue should move up and take all the challenges from the more worthy opponents in the higher division.

As we have seen, Canelo-Crawford fetched higher amount of gate purse as compared to Inoue-Akhmadaliev with figures around $200M vs $20M only for Inoue - Akhmadaliev. So with the approximate numbers, we know that Inoue needs to move up otherwise, he won't get big paydays and his popularity may wane down. We already know his capability, so Inoue's camp should aim for high caliber boxers that can compete him toe-to-toe. He's already 32 so he needs to get more fight as much as he can and move up as soon as possible. This is boxing, and his time may be over before he knows it.

If I'm not mistaken, Inoue can fill the stadium in Japan, and so he is getting a lot of money fighting there. So money is not the problem. But the thing is, as fans, we wanted to see him going out of his comfort zone and fight in the US with much bigger names and move up to the next weight class at 126 lbs. And now that he beats Akhmadaliev already, there's no way for him to stay at the super bantamweight class as he had clean this division. And if we go back to his manager, Bob Arum who says that he will be fighting in the US this year and move up to 126 lbs, so far that didn't happen that's why fans are somewhat disappointed in Inoue.

Yup, Akhmadaliev was no match for Inoue. But it’s clear Inoue has adjusted his style—he wasn’t forcing the issue this time. He didn’t chase the knockout like he usually does. It’s possible he was aware that Akhmadaliev had the power to hurt him if he landed clean on the chin, which is why Inoue was more cautious and focused on avoiding those shots. From what I’ve heard, Inoue is set to face David Picasso this December, and the highly anticipated showdown with Junto Nakatani is expected to take place next year, according to Top Rank.

Yes, mate, and we have this discussed this too in the other community. Although I said that Akhmadaliev is tough cookie to crack, but I will agree that Inoue wanted to play it safe and not go for the knockdown in the early rounds as he doesn't want to be caught again, just like in his last fight. So he didn't push or look for the knockout, he was just there to hurt Akhmadaliev and soften him up. As for the next fight, yes, it was reported that maybe Davis Picasso will be ready now as he was the original fighter prior to Akhmadaliev. But his Father that time said no and maybe he has matured and willing to fight Inoue next in Riyadh if I'm not mistaken.

It was a clear win by Inoue, scores were: 118-110, (2x) while one had 117-111.
Akhmadaliev is frustrated throughout the fight as he can't land anything big.
We are not familiar with David Picasso, if there will be a fight that might interest the fans, then it should be the champion at 126 lbs. IBF - Angelo Leo WBA - Nick Ball/Mirco Cuello (interim) WBC - Stephen Fulton/Bruce Carrington (interim)/Rey Vargas (champion in recess) WBO - Rafael Espinoza Although David Picasso is the mandatory of WBC at 122 lbs, his name doesn't ring a bell for most of us here. Junto Nakatani is good as he is a champion, but then this is all Japanese clash and most likely going to be held in Japan. He should really get out of his comfort zone and fight 126 lbs champion in the United States.

Looks like Tapales’ win was really legit, and Akhmadaliev is just hype, no real power in his punches, not a KO artist. Even if he lands on Inoue, he can’t put him down. I agree with you, it’s already predictable. No entertainment left in this division because Inoue is the beast. As long as he stays here, people will lose interest in watching the super bantamweight division. Maybe the only boxer now who could bring some entertainment is Casimero, if Inoue finally gives him a chance. I believe his one-year ban is already over, so he can fight now.

There’s still no word on whether Inoue plans to move up in weight, and with just two potential fights left at 122 lbs, against Picasso and Nakatani, the options feel limited. A matchup with Nakatani would be massive in Japan, and it’s clear they’re focused on satisfying the local fanbase, even if the fight doesn’t generate global buzz. As long as Japanese fans are happy, that appears to be enough for them.

I'm also thinking that Bob Arum or Top Rank is not in control here and it's the Japanese promoter that is handling the career of Inoue. And maybe this is not a 50/50 split between TR and the Japanese. Because we have heard Arum saying that this year Inoue will be fighting in the US and then moving up in weight. Unfortunately, it's almost the end of the year now and not a thing that we heard from Uncle Bob then. Now they have a name in Picasso, maybe a good rated boxer, but we all know that so far we haven't seen anyone close to even having a blue print on how to beat Inoue.

I think Inoue has to learn how to take risks the way Crawford did if he really wants to be a hall of famer. There was even a rumor before that he called out Tank Davis to fight in Japan, not sure if that’s true, but if it ever happens, that would be a hell of a fight since both are explosive boxers.
But if it won’t happen anytime soon, maybe Inoue should think about moving up already. It’s getting boring, and for a fighter we admire and thought would follow the footsteps of Pacquiao, he looks like he’s just playing it safe, like he’s afraid to lose. I want to see him more like Canelo, even if he takes a loss, he can proudly say he took the risk.

I think Inoue could be sure for a HOF, Crawford is 3x undisputed, while Inoue is 2x at. But I do agree that he should take risks like Crawford. He is not getting any younger and I think he is not that small guy too at 126 lbs. He should really be going up at featherweight and not to play safe. They say that he is going up in weight, but nothing happens. Although he seems to be reluctant on moving up further: “Yes, featherweight is my limit,” Inoue told The Ring during a recent interview. “I’m not interested in going any higher. If I were 170 cm tall, it would be different. But there is a limit to how much I can build frame-wise. Even at junior featherweight, I’m building muscle one by one, building up my physique and taking on the challenge.” https://ringmagazine.com/en/news/naoya-inoue-featherweight-is-my-limit
