Why are they doing that in the first place? From the OP's story, it seems they're quite experienced with staking and gaming. I find it hard to believe they don't know the risk of what they're doing, assuming they don't share their full capital with OP and have an alternative contingency plan in place for their risky move.
I think talking with them is necessary to solve things like this. We can guess from A to F, but the answer might be Z. Communication and listening is important if they're doing this risky activity simply because they chase higher dopamine from gambling.

I got really worried over the habit of some friends who are into betting or gambling and how they often stake into a game in a week more than what they earn even in a month and most time are not able to get it back in a couple of plays. So it got me really worried and concerned
What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
If I had a friend like that, I wouldn't hesitate to give them a warning because they're my friend, of course. It's up to them, but at least as a friend, I did my part to be a true friend. Now, if they still don't listen, they can't blame me because I really did my part as a friend. It's that simple for me, of course, so they can see that the money wasn't just found; they still worked hard for it.

If you are this worried then you must have tried to lecture them but they refuse to listen, correct me if this is invalid and it it's valid then it's not your problem to solve others stupid decisions. Your part is to correct them from going astray and if they choose to neglect your advice your mind should be at rest and wait for the day you will tell them that 'I told you so'. Believe me, if that day ever come they will hide it from you because they will feel somehow telling you after all the warnings, make sure you warn the to avoid guilt of mind from your own side.

My friend has earned money by gambling but I will advise them to refrain from this activity. Because since he is my friend I will never want him to face financial loss. Yes it is my responsibility and duty that my friend does not become addicted to gambling and so that their life does not come to a standstill, I must advise them to always do good things. If they accept my advice then it will be good and if they do not then they will be harmed.

If someone is already addicted, sometimes the best time to give advice is when they’ve hit rock bottom like when they’re completely broke. That moment might actually increase the chance that they'll realize the damage and finally stop. Of course, not everyone will quit, even then, but it's still worth trying. Honestly, it's really hard to stop gambling, I'm speaking from experience. I haven’t been able to quit completely either, but at least I’ve managed to set a monthly limit for myself. It’s not perfect, but it’s something.

Sometimes the go big or go home mentality does work in favour of the player, it's not always a tale of the house winning... Imagine a betslip of a 1000 odds was shared with you and you put in $3 because you thought the risk was too high to win, while your friend trusted his gut feeling and staked say $100 on the betslip and it wins... Sometimes it's allowed to go against your rules because it's not everyday that you will be losing, so of those days you get to walk away as a winner 🏆🏆.
Am sure you have meant or had instances were you wished you put in more money on a wager because it won but you doubted it, so a little hope goes a long way sometimes.

It's hard for me to imagine how they do it, because there are people who spend everything they earn, especially if they have a small salary. In this case, spending more than you earn will be very difficult, and in addition, you need to pay for housing, food, clothing and other payments. Even if they live like this for several months, it will soon lead them to large debts and then it will become impossible. Before you start getting carried away with gambling gears, you need to determine how much you are willing to spend and never exceed this permitted amount.

Why risk all your money on one game? There aren't any other games in the casino, I think this is very stupid? Even though I am still a beginner in gambling, if we lose in one game, of course I will not continue in that game again. I will move to another game according to my knowledge and skills, I think poker and blackjack can be the solution to find the profit you want. For me, if a friend is addicted, as you described above, there's really no other way than to tell them. The point is that. Whether they listen or not is none of my business.

I would try to make it into a joke as to not get his defenses raised. He might think I am attacking him so I would only say it lightly. To be honest, not only in gambling but in anything, purchasing something when you don’t have the money for it yet sounds exhausting. You’ve already spent the money you haven’t got yet. It sounds like something that could be disastrous in the future.

Often, those who do this believe they'll get rich quickly, but in practice, the result is often the opposite. Therefore, a good piece of advice is to stop risking everything at once and start thinking more carefully about the amounts you decide to bet.
That's the fact, risking low is the most recommendable way to go about gambling instead of trying to risk it all just so that the outcome is also going to be massive. this is a wrong mindset gambling is not a bed of roses or something that works according to our wishes even though we may be lucky to wish for a particular outcome and it works but that does not give any guarantee, Rather is just luck playing it's role. so we shouldn't be carried away during this process and start thinking of risking with what we can't afford to lose, going about it this way is very wrong gambling should be followed gradually even though some people may decide to make budget of the profit they will get within a short period of time but is always advised not to go it all.

Brave friendships last for years but weak friendships break up in a few days. These brave friends should be held and cared for because they can help you with their experience or lend you money in times of trouble. I think I know the reason why you are suspicious of these friends. You may think that their losses in gambling will be large and they will become addicted so they may ask you for a loan after losing their wealth. If you really think so then there is a logical reason for this. In most cases they are more harmed than benefited by them. Therefore, it would be more logical to adopt a moderate approach to such friends rather than to get too close.

You don't really have a lot of options here. Even though they are your friends, you can't really force them to do anything unless they are always ready to listen to you, and you are confident that if you tell them something, they will understand and stop doing it instead of getting mad and arguing with you over it. Most people who are into gambling and have got a habit of doing it and do it excessively, they mostly have a short temper, and they tend to get angry or irritated very quickly, so if you try to school them over it, they might take it seriously and start arguing or fighting with you over it. That being said, there is nothing wrong with trying. You should find a perfect situation, and ask them to sit with you for a moment and then tell them calmly and explain how bad it can be for them if they keep doing this. You should show care and compassion, and they might understand what you are trying to do. If they accept it and change, that's well and good, but if they don't, as I said earlier, there is nothing much you can do in that case because they are grown ups, and you can't forcefully stop them from doing something.

I will talk to them to reduce their gambling habits and ask them to do other things. I will explain why they should do that and what effect they may get in the long term. I don't want to see my friends become addicted to gambling. I will help them reduce their gambling habits and also ask their family to realize the problem. I hope with the help of their families, my friends can realize and start reducing their habits. How dangerous gambling can impact someone's life so I don't want it to happen to my friends. We can only suggest, help, and monitor but we can not force them to stop without their own will.

If it is your best friends - let make some table and write in all their bets: sums, odds, loss/win. If the can analyze - they can calculate their win rate, summary loss. I think that it would be enough for the first step. If it just mates - just leave them. They would become your enemies, you would be guilty in every problem in their life which would be connected with gambling. If they would be ready to change their life - make the same table.

You've been given all kind of advice in here. Depending on the strength of the friendship and historical context of the relationship, you can try to help them for a while. They probably deserve that. If it does not work, give up and move away. Get better friends, they are not worth your time. Now, if they still don't listen, they can't blame me because I really did my part as a friend. It's that simple for me, of course, so they can see that the money wasn't just found; they still worked hard for it.
Even if they would blame you, so what? Don't waste your time with stupid people like that. Life is too short for you to have bad friends.

OP, from what you have said here, it seems your friends are already addicted to gambling because betting more than you earn is way too high to be considered as betting for fun, and from the looks, it is possible that they started this as a result of poor orientation they got or maybe they are chasing their losses to recover all they have lost in the course of gambling.
You can help them by starting to give them an orientation on the principles of gambling, letting them know they started in the wrong step, because if they knew about gambling principles, they would not have gotten to the point of gambling more than they earn. Teach them about gambling responsibly, and also tell them how to make a gambling budget and to be disciplined in maintaining or following the budget they have planned for, so that they can be able to abide by it.

When a close friend is slowly going from the first level of addiction to the deepest level in front of his eyes, no other good friend wants his friend to have such a situation. If a friend is really going towards addiction, then he should definitely try to turn him around. He should first be made aware of the addiction to gambling and then he can be suggested to change his environment. However, in the current era, when all gambling is conducted online, he must try on his own. If the gambler does not try by himself, then it is not possible to turn him away from gambling addiction in any way.

There's really no correct words to tell gamblers if you want them to stop it or control their gambling problem. Sometimes, they do not absorb what you say and will just ignore it. I think the best method is to show them how much they are losing over how much they could've saved if they didn't gamble their money. Less talk, more work. If you are both men, you don't like talking, and you don't want any advice from another men. It's better to just show them instead of becoming the Dr. Phil for them.

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
Encourage them to consult a therapist to recover from their addiction, or tell their family so they know what they're doing and can get help more quickly. However, someone who's out of control often finds it difficult to accept advice or input, so don't stop reminding them.

I've experienced this before when my friend was gambling, but he was spending more than he earned. I kept reminding him, but he didn't listen and continued gambling. I think it's very difficult to change a person's behavior unless they have desire to stop. As long as they don't have desire to stop, I don't think it will work.
But if you still want to try, try asking them to gamble by setting a deposit amount. This will help them get used to gambling according to their own set amount. This will help prevent them from gambling continuously. When they're finished, remind them to stop and find something else to do.
