The advice you should give your friend if you have one like this, is to go back and learn about bankroll management and responsible gambling.
It is very obvious he isn't gambling responsibly. When an individual do not allocate a specific amount to gambling which is called bankroll management, they end up gambling with all the money they earn after work.

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
Gambling above one's income simply mean that they are borrowing money to gamble which is very bad because it's obvious they will use their next salary to settle the previous debt they owed so it's really a very bad habit, they might have even fallen into addiction because before someone starts gambling above his income it means that they spend so much time while gambling. Anyways it is difficult to advice people who have gotten into debt as a result from gambling above their income since they will always want to recover the borrowed amount they lost, the only thing you can advise them is to take it easy or go on an indefinite break, if they have entered into debts already they should convince the lender to be patient with them so that they can be paying it little by little till it is cleared then if they want to start gambling again you have to remind them of their past mistake and they should be responsible this time around.

This is good if your concern for your friends and it is completely understandable and justified as losing more money than they earn from betting is serious problem. Best way to help is to talk to them calmly and privately starting from place of care rather than judgment. You should focus on negative effects you seen instead of just telling them to stop. And you can not fix problem for them but you can offer to help them find professional help or just be there to listen making it clear that you will support them when they are ready to get help.

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
You can ask them if they are ok with their current situation. Then the next thing depends on their answer. If they say they are ok, it means they don't need anyone meddling with their affair or gambling activities. But once they opened up about their regret on gambling too much, then that is the sign to give them some advice. I think the best for them is to know financial management down to bankroll management. Explain to them the importance of knowing these two. If you may, you can ask a question about the signs of gambling addiction but not directly insinuating that they are already addicted to gambling, but tell them to have self-reflection. You can give the link of the questionnaire and let them answer it in private, and let them realize where they are from being addicted to gambling.

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
My concern is how do they get these extra funds that they use in staking since they are staking with an amount that is above their salary. It shows that they're gambling for profits and at the same time chasing their losses. My advice to such people is that they should go on a break from gambling and focus more on their work before they get addicted.

People battling with addiction need to be treated with love and respect. Shaming them by talking to them publicly might affect their emotions and lead to more problems. I see the reactions of some youths in my area when their parents shout at them publicly about their habits. Some of them had to move away from the vicinity due to shame. Some of them want to be free from addiction, our role is to help them achieve it.

My advice to such people is that they should go on a break from gambling and focus more on their work before they get addicted. They may have different loans since they can't maintain such activities when they are betting more than they can earn. I also think that these people are not in a profit since @OP is very concerned about his friends. I hope @OP can find a way to divert the attention of his friends from time to time to at least have a break on their gambling activities. In addition, @OP can have a heart-to-heart talk with his friends, if he is very close to them and has them open up to him about their struggles in their gambling activities. I think it is the only way to give solid advice without offending the other parties.

Your friend is clearly showing an addiction problem because no sane person will bet an amount that he earn for a long time. That’s beyond responsible gambling already that needs immediate attention. Most of this person based on my experience got angry whenever they hear an advice. Unless he is the one who voluntarily ask for the advice then that’s fine but forcing your own opinion even the intention is to help sometimes view by this person as negative. I will try to evaluate first and based on that my actions whether I will confront him about his problem or not.

Such behaviour would only land you into financial problems and more gambling losses and its totally not worth it for any gambler.

Is there any special kind of advice that can be given to such people? I think the answer is nope, the advice to be given is just a general statement which you tell them not to continue with the habit and also share more light on the consequences of what those habits can lead to. You can only talk but can not force the person to stop because who has ears should listen, perhaps you didn't ask them to get addicted. If you want to take it upon yourself to make them change, you should be ready to spend your money too paying a psychologist.

In gambling, it is adviseable to use the amount you can let go to gambe, doing anything outside that will amount to the gambling getting the repercussion of what comes with gambling with being responsible and avoiding by the rules, why all this things won't stop us that any gamblers has deviated from what gambling represents to another thing, just as you said gambling is meant for fun, it is actually for entertainment although it is not bad if a gamber tries to win but while we are trying to win, we shouldn't deviate from the whole gambling concept which is gambling with what one can afford to lose, being aware that losing is inevitable I think this things will make a gambler to think twice when trying to take unnecessary risk in something thats not assured or certain.

According to the description you have given, your friends are gambling, but they have no sense of responsibility and the way they gamble is undoubtedly unplanned. If they had gambled with a plan, they would not have lost the amount of money they used to earn in a month in a few days. We have to accept that this game is one of the riskiest games and if gambling is not done with the right strategy, then all the money can be lost at once. If your friends know this and gamble without caring about money, then they are undoubtedly stupid. In this case, I want to give this message to your friends through you that you should warn your friends and tell them to learn about gambling before they lose all their money. If they gamble continuously, then tell them to take a break in the middle of gambling and if they continue to lose money even after taking a break, then tell them to stop for some time and start again. Hopefully, this will help them catch their mistakes.

I got really worried over the habit of some friends who are into betting or gambling and how they often stake into a game in a week more than what they earn even in a month and most time are not able to get it back in a couple of plays. So it got me really worried and concerned
What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
Its obvious that they are heading for a part that would put them in a precarious situation. People who do this end up in debt and they are unable to come out of it because of tht amounts of money they end up owing. My advice to such persons is to just use a percentage of what they earn instead of staking more than they receive. Life shouldn't revolve around gambling alone, there are lots of responsibilities to take care of

It will only be foolish for anyone to gamble for then they earn and it also shows that person is not responsible. The moment you begin to gamble more than you earn, your financial life will definitely suffer and it will also affect your family if the person has one. My best advice for such people is to stop gambling or try as much as possible to reduce the way they gamble. One of the reasons for anyone to gamble that much, is because they see it as a way make quick money, so the person has to do away with such mentality.

That is a sign of gambling addict it will be hard for such person to come out from such situations this are type of gamblers that sell their belongings or part of what they have just to satisfy their gambling habit.
There is nothing wrong if he uses just 10% of his income earn to gamble so he won't fall into some financial crises, the best thing to do for your friend at this point is to continuously advise him the limit the rate at which he gamble that their is not guarantee of winning in gambling that he should be gambling with the money he can afford to loss.

I will definitely feel pity and bad for them but they know what is right for them and what is wrong so they should go ahead with what makes them feel good and better. But this situation can only be possible to someone or people who are addicted into gambling because why will someone in his normal state be gambling and be using more than what they earns, it is really an error and it has to be corrected but such situations it is only God that can help such person because it is a difficult situation to handle ordinarily and I don't believe advise will even work at this point.

I've experienced this before when my friend was gambling, but he was spending more than he earned. I kept reminding him, but he didn't listen and continued gambling. I think it's very difficult to change a person's behavior unless they have desire to stop. As long as they don't have desire to stop, I don't think it will work.
Yes, this is the main problem. If the gambler doesn't want to stop, you won't be able to convince him no matter how hard you try or how much you explain to him the error of his ways. The reason for this is that the gambler in this situation is out of control and out of his mind. That is, his thinking isn't working properly. He has a goal and a purpose in mind, which is that he will win in the end. Therefore, no matter how much he loses, he won't stop.

What your friend is doing is very bad. I am worried that the advice may not have a positive impact on your friend. What we can do as friends is only to remind and give advice. We have a good relationship and do not want it to turn bad because of the advice we give. It would be better if they can still be advised and improve their gambling activities. If not, gambling will give them advice in its own way.

Well funny enough, greed can make a normal person display sch act of stupidity. On a Quest to make some quick money, greed can push someone into taking actions they'll regret later. Some gamblers when they look at their potential wins, they'll already imagine such an amount in their account, and some will even increase the amount l, forgetting the potential risks of losing all the money. Such risk is just out of this world
