It's never really advisable to place a bet with more than what we can accept if the result of the game did not happen as we projected it. Budget is essential in betting, and once one hits that limit, they should stop for that day, not even just taking a temporary break, but they should walk away from gambling until they make another gambling budget so as not to spend rapidly on gambling without control.

Well said mate. Gambling with an amount that would get the gambler affected when the game doesn't go as expected is bad the best thing is to gamble with a budgeted amount as you already said but when the bet doesn't go well taking a break for that day is the best thing to day so that you will not chase your loss and lose more money. Having control of your gambling activities is good but budgeting helps to limit and regulate it if you follow it up.
It's crazy how some gamblers can this reckless and mismanagement excited. Why on earth would I wish to risk what I can't afford to lose and at same time risk not catching fun and entertained from the activity. We don't have to undermine the role of a bankroll in assisting us stick to responsible gambling behaviour, for when a threshold is set we can barely want to go beyond what we have already set as what we can afford risking to lose.
Wondering what would make anyone gamble recklessly? It is because they have this false believe that they are in control and can handle the whole situation. Try asking any reckless gambler you know to gamble more responsibly and he will tell you he knows what he is doing. They claim they know what they are doing but can't bear the pain when the losses hit them. They honestly aren't in their right minds, their sens of reasoning are beclouded by greed.

What makes people to gamble recklessly to the point of gambling more than what they receive as income is that most of them believe that they can get back what they use in gambling, and this is a very big mistake that many gambler's are doing nobody should use more than what they receive in a month to gamble because it's not a healthy lifestyle as such life style will always leads to contributing to the financial crisis of such people.

That's true, but many of them hope gambling will change their lives because they're tired of their daily work. Living paycheck to paycheck and unable to afford nice things or expensive vacations, these people simply want to dream of something, but in reality, they fall right into a trap, just like thousands of people before them in gambling.
Therefore, it's important to always broaden your horizons and not focus solely on earnings.

If you bet more than you win, there's a problem. It means you're exceeding limits that you should be clear about, so that it's a healthy gambling system. This should be the standard phrase for every gambler: "Don't bet more money than you can afford to lose."

If you follow the rules from the beginning and have your limits clear, I'm sure you won't fall, or it will be very difficult for you to fall, into this type of behavior.
There is a problem when you bet more than you earn and more than you win. It's inappropriate at all when you do that because what you must do is to balance all of the money that comes in and out from your pocket. Whether it's from your salary, investments, wins or any other source of yours. While following it sometimes is hard when you get emotional, but you have to fight for it because if you don't, you can lose everything.

They believe that gambling could make their life better, as many influencers are saying. Many poor people think that gambling is the solution to their financial problems. Unfortunately, it becomes their nightmares.

That is why it is important to clearly understand what gambling is all about rather than believing influencers. We should think that gambling is not made for financial solutions, nor a source of income but rather just for entertainment purposes only. Otherwise, we are putting our finances at high risk.

Gambling is like an investment, you don't know if you are going to be profitable at the end but sometimes I know there can be some cases when you know that this bet is going to earn you multiple profits and that makes you to invest some good amount that will make the result substantial. This does not happen everytime and the mistake of always being positive in winning have made some gamblers to lose more than they have invested in gambling. You can win or lose without blaming anybody for your poor outcome in gambling.

There are some very simple and effective tips here. They simply involve limiting your maximum bets in any given period. For example, spending no more than a few percent of your monthly income in a given week. However, I suspect that such banal advice won't reach players who have already become addicted to gambling. People simply stop listening to sound advice. They hear only the voice of their inner devil. And until that inner devil ruins them, they won't stop doing crazy things. Unfortunately, sanity comes after losses.

This does not happen everytime and the mistake of always being positive in winning have made some gamblers to lose more than they have invested in gambling. You can win or lose without blaming anybody for your poor outcome in gambling.

In investing or at the gambling table, the average person's psychology is that when they win, they experience euphoria. When they lose, they can immediately become mentally and financially devastated. Let's talk about why many lose when they invest in crypto or at the gambling table. The biggest factor is the obsession with getting rich quick, accompanied by chasing, emotion, and greed as alternative income sources. It's understandable, but they forget to calculate the odds of winning against their own abilities in the game.

If you say gambling is similar to investing, I think it's slightly different from the general understanding. Simply put, investing is a slow and steady system. It can still be analyzed from previous data, so its potential is still visible, although patience is required. Gambling is a zero-sum game, and you'll even lose if you keep losing.

In the end, he lost a lot, not only his youth but also all the money he had saved from working.

You need to discipline yourself at all times, spending more than what you earned means exceeding on the supposed balance or budget that you allocated for your gambling, that kind of unbalanced emotions may lead you to a tough position, better to make sure that you fully understand the risk and you know how to balance both your time and finances to avoid regretting your mistakes from a bad decision that you made.

If you want to save from potential losses, better treat gambling on the negative side. Meaning, you won't profit in the long-run. So for me, I won't treat this as an investment per se but mere habit of having a leisure from time to time. Because it is not really an investment an all. Though the definition of investment is "commitment of resources into something expected to gain value over time", still you have no assurance that there will be gain in the future when you talk about gambling. So I would say, gambling is not really an investment. Once you treat it as such, I would say, you are putting yourself in a very risky position.

Exactly, in the beginning when they started gambling, they will feel that it's an opportunity for them to double their money. They start losing and continue chaaing their losses before they know it, they have lose a huge amount of money with the false hoping of winning big. In gambling, the opposite is always the case.

I got really worried over the habit of some friends who are into betting or gambling and how they often stake into a game in a week more than what they earn even in a month and most time are not able to get it back in a couple of plays. So it got me really worried and concerned

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
Providing them with an understanding of what you know is a good thing.
In the concept of friendship, we remind each other if positive actions or something that happens to them is turning negative. Whether they refuse to listen or simply ignore it is their business.

After sincerely conveying your concerns, then let them get what they deserve, and let go of any initial concerns you may have.
If they consider you a friend and understand the rules of friendship, they will come back to you.

There are some very simple and effective tips here. They simply involve limiting your maximum bets in any given period. The idea of betting more to win back losses feels logical in the moment but it is actually the trap that destroys people this cycle makes someone believe that with just one larger deposit they can undo the damage but in reality it just digs the hole deeper the addiction turns into a chase where the gambler isn’t really playing for fun anymore but desperately trying to escape past losses.Social circles play a huge role too being surrounded by people who normalize gambling or glorify big wins pushes someone deeper into the behavior it makes gambling feel less like a problem and more like a lifestyle by the time losses pile up the person is often too far in to see clearly.

Sanity often comes only after the ruin like you said after the money is gone after the savings are destroyed and sometimes after relationships or careers are damaged it’s painful because the warning signs were there but ignored out of hope or stubbornness. Recovery usually needs more than friendly advice it might take professional help support groups or a complete break from unhealthy environments only then does the person realize that gambling wasn’t giving them wealth it was quietly draining their life.

What would be your advice for such if they were to be your friends as a caring friend who want them to not get financially drained in the process?
The reality is that it is quite difficult to remind someone, even if they are your closest friend, because when someone has done something like this repeatedly, it is difficult to remind them, and even the advice we give will only fall on deaf ears, which often happens in the end.

For those who gamble, they always see this as a situation where they focus solely on what they believe, regardless of whether it is a mistake. Trying to remind them through their closest friends will have no impact whatsoever; they will only realize it on their own.
Hopefully, your friend will begin to realize their mistake, and you can keep reminding them if you want to help them see the error of their ways. However, this situation clearly isn't the best option because, in the end, they will realize on their own that they have crossed the line and that the best thing for them to do is to acknowledge the mistake they have made.
They should stop gambling above their earnings because it will lead to cashlessness, instead they need to set a limit in time and bank roll, gamble with what they can afford to lose, have a specific amount you gamble with from your income as low as 0.5%-1%, in that way you will not be affected when gambling since gambling wins are not guaranteed to be using all your earnings at once.

Borrowing or taking a loan to gamble is a very wrong idea, it prevents you from growing in life, not to talk.about gambling because it will be difficult to pay the interest or the money back , because you don't win so easily in gambling.

They’ve crossed the line. They’re spending more than they earn. Whether your advice will work or not, at least tell them what’s on your mind. They’ll be in financial trouble in no time if they can’t control themselves. They can gamble since it’s their money, but they should know their limits. I’ve been there, and it was hella worse. Even though I promote and gamble myself, I don’t want to see a gambler go through a financial crisis because of addiction.

Whenever a person spends more than his income, that is the time when he will start facing various problems. We should be careful while gambling so that gambling does not become completely intertwined with our life. I have seen many people before who sold their money and assets to gamble and lost all their money in gambling and became destitute. Therefore, we should not do anything that will destroy all our deposited money.

This mindset is flawed. If we assume that gambling can improve our financial well-being through winning, this is highly unlikely, even impossible. While some people may have successfully transformed their lives through winning, it's best not to use it as a guideline for gambling. Prioritizing winning will only lead to addiction. Therefore, gambling is not a solution to our financial problems.

Yeah, a mistake that will forever be a regret if we misshandled our gambling participation, there are so many real life stories of those gamblers who at first treat things as past time and for entertainment but because of longer time frame playing, they become addicted and the adrenaline and aggressions to play more drives them to over spend their savings then ends up losing everything that they've got, better to keep yourself away from heavy gamings and just use spare such amount that you can afford to let go.
