In my country, it is pretty common for parents to have kids then think that their kids are their hope. That is because they get kids without being financially ready for it yet and then they just eventually hope that when their kids grow up they will be the ones to build wealth for them. But is having kids the reason why people end up financially worse over the years? Do not get me wrong, kids are a blessing but realistically speaking they are expensive. Is it fair to yourselves and to the kids to have kids just to leave it up to them to be wealthy and let them grow up through hardships?
I think having children is a personal choice and people should think about their financial situation before making that decision. Children shouldn't be treated as a retirement plan or a way to build wealth. Parents should take responsibility for their children's future and should not have any expectation from them that they will fix their financial problems in the future. They have to support there children financially until they become financially independent.

It is the prayer of every parent to see their children to grow, and become even better than them financially, but while you are expecting these from your children, you equally have to do your own part. These means, you have to provide them with quality education, give them quality skills, and enable grow with good morals. However, as parents you cannot do all these without money, you must work hard to provide for the children you expect to help you in future. As parents, don't totally rely on your children even while you are training them up. Some will go to go their own path even when you think they are suppose to help you. Therefore, work to provide for yourself even at old age , then accept any assistance that will come from your children as a dividend of the good training you have given to them.

Exactly, this kind of mentality is what leads some children to kill their parents, because of the frustration of being poor. That is why I always advise people to have children based on their financial capacity, so that they don't bring children into the world to make them suffer, but having children they can cater for and raise them to be independent, responsible and content. This is the healthiest way to have children and maintain their peace of mind without having to battle with the pressure of constantly struggling to achieve financial stability.
One man in my area have this low mentality that since he doesn't have money, he can give birth to as many children as he wants. You can imagine how people reason. They don't care about their financial status; they only care about having many children. It is absolutely not a good idea at all, because children are meant to enjoy, not to surfer from scratch. Even though most of them usually change at times, let it be that we give them the best we can and leave the rest to God.

It sounds funny but reality of most parents today, the reason while most government have the policy of birth control is not far from this said mentality of some human who lack the purpose of child bearing, bringing a child into the earth to smell hell in the name of becoming wealthy as the highest child bearers is what I see a a failed personality, most society today is domicile in have right thinking person as those flooded is of taut course all kind of violence who have left those with right thinking to flee as result of seeing a having more children as sources of income or wealth very disheartening situation, any child one can't properly care for is already a liability for any one because you can't expect much when nothing is done to position that child either in business, good job and right thinking mentality through education "Cityhunter34" it's more practical without doubt that such mentality exist in view of what is full of many society today, I will agree with you completely.

Unfortunately, money is the very thing that balances the balance between caring for children and the money itself. Therefore, many parents blame themselves for working too much and not paying enough attention to their children's education and upbringing. But what can they do? Unfortunately, we all live by the rules of the countries we were born into. And in this game, the cards are already dealt. Having two jobs is often the norm in these times of crisis, and it feels like we once lived better than we do now. One can only hope that our children will have an easier life...

In training up your children, your primary responsibility is that they become a people that are capable of taking care of themselves even without you. What will make that happen? It’s when they receive the right financial training, social training and training that makes them a responsible people in the society. The reason why most parents are afraid of old age especially as it regards their children being able and willing to take care of them is because they’ve been found wanting when it comes to their children upbringing.

There is nothing wrong in setting some system that should Carter for the times you wouldn’t need to work. That’s the smart thing to do but outside that, if you’re neglecting taking care of your needs just to set up those system, you might be harming yourself without even knowing it to start with.

How would you determine what is «best for kids, better and higher standard of living»? Because everyone have their own vision of that and calculations. Some parents do this: they wish only the best and start calculating. Cost of best and most comfortable stroller + cost of best diapers + cost of best doctors/health (I put here all the massage therapists + swimming pools + physiotherapist +others). Sum-up and get shocked, because that is the cost of the first year only. Then they add best private elementary school. Add expenses on clothes. And end with the amount that is far above what they earn per month. Then they drop idea of having children because that becomes too expensive. It is very hard to find balance between what you want to give your child, if the cost of that should really be that high and if child really needs that.

Fine. What is considered "best" for a child varies from parent to parent. But a higher standard of living is self explanatory. Any responsible parent would want their child to have a higher standard of living than what they themselves had. Also, wanting the best for your  kid doesn't necessarily mean providing the best of everything for the child. Perhaps you may have misunderstood what I said and taken that sentence literally.
Besides, if everyone were to budget money to provide the literal best of everything before having a child, then we'd have a serious case of underpopulation worldwide.

Proverbs 22:6 says we should trained up your child in the way he should go and when he is old, he won't depart from it. Children are blessings from God and we make good use of God's blessing on our lives. We should be ready to acknowledge what we want and how we can blend and turn things into our own favour. We play key roles in the lives of our children, ofcourse it's not easy but we can not spare the rod and spoil the child. We take discipline very person in our everyday lives.
