I blame the government for this senseless killing. How would the government allow an individual with mental health issues to roam the street? I read he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and couldn't get medical assistance because a mental health hospital couldn't admit him due to a lack of space. I think he should serve life imprisonment without parole because he is a danger to society.

I don't understand how person like he was in freedom. With history of his crimes and schizophrenia it was obvious that he is dangerous for society. In general I'm not supporter of death sentence, but in cases I would support it. I doubt that prison can fix person like he. Offcourse, there is option to keep him in prison for the rest of his life, using tax payers money to feed him.
What also shocked me that someone started campaign on GoFundMe platform to support killer, as it was written ''fight against the racism and bias against our people,”. This left me speechless.

For an outsider, i feel like this case gets a press so much because it's being used to back up a narrative.

You might as well ask if mass shooters, Cops that kill defenceless people, January 6th Capitol attackers that killed cops, child abusers, murderers or sex offenders should get death sentences. If you take them case by case to push a narrative to ignore statistics, i feel like we are focusing on wrong issues.

I don't have an opinion other then that every case should be go by the book and not via some mob justice on how you feel about it, but then again, it's not my country.

Does it "offend" you that an innocent white girl who is slaughtered in public by a violent balck man with many criminal convictions who then walked around the train calmly boasting how he killed the "white girl" is having "too much" media attention? Nope there hasn't been enough and not a fraction of the attention those Jan 6 rioters got so quit your lies trying to push your false narrative with all your whataboutery and deflection.

And from what i see, this has been front page news in many countries. That's something what happens when murder is either heinous enough, it's politically relevant, or easy enough story to sell.

And it's quite weird to even suggest that this should get similar coverage to Jan 6th event, as that was political terror, while this was random act of violence. In comparison, 300 people have been killed in US mass shootings this year alone. So, if you slowly read my text again, then you might get that i am asking why would it matter if some individual gets a death sentence or not. And why is even president talking about this? And not all the kids shot in schools?

Actually the recent church shooting got a lot of attention with JD Vance spending a lot of time with the victims families and as for the George Floyd death ...well we all know how that went.




 ......so I guess because of how this murder was captured on CCTV the same way the Luigi Mangione affair was and the sheer brutality of it along with the fact the poor girl was not a violent ex felon and had come here for safety and refuge add to the outrage.

The only person that should be sentence to death are those who kill others, if you kill someone you are suppose to die too, there should be no mercy for anyone that kills his fellow human, but before you say a man or woman has killed his or her fellow human there should be evidence that he or she actually did it without enough evidence I don't support death sentence.

I take it you mean persons that murder others in cold blood and not people who kill in self defenceor by accident. I would be willing to commute the death penalty for anyone who is genuinely remorseful for even murder but they would have to serve out their sentence in prison for whatever term is given by a court of law.

This killer may have had a mental illness or some other issue so it will be up to his defence attorney and other experts to show mitigating factors and up to the prosecution to convince the jury the level of guilt/responsibility and the judge to hand out the sentence once the jury gives a verdict but he did murder her in front of witnesses and cctv and did apparently mention the fact he "got the white girl" so there is also the possibility of a racially motivated hate crime having been commited although due to his mental issues he could have been easily influenced by all the dangerous race baiting rhetoric the radical leftists have been stirring up so he could also be a victim of this in a way and they could be culpable in causing this crime if you really wanted to go down that rabbit hole.

I feel sorry for both his family and the victims family.
