Surely Bitcoin wasn't created with specifications for the younger generation, however it's panning out that it's characteristics happen to align more with the younger generation.

Younger people resonate more with technology and Bitcoin is inherently digital. The older generation appear to be sceptical when it comes to new technology and would prefer the traditional Commercial banking systems for their basic and complex transactions.

Personally I think what matters most is a sincere desire to be open to new technologies alongside openness to move a little from the flat currencies.

Which type of technology exactly are you referring to?

Bitcoin is built  to provide alternative to our fiat system, and also to give us financial freedom, the technology behind Bitcoin is transparent and is open to anyone even the older generation, it is not for some specific generation, you just need to have good understanding of technology advancement to understand and adapt to Bitcoin.
Older people don prefer banking and fiat systems because that’s what they are used to, and most of them do complain because when they get old, they will not be getting that energy to go to the bank anymore, while with Bitcoin, they can make their transactions at the comfort of their houses.

The reason you might think it is for this generation is because we are adapting to new technologies easily than the older generations. But Bitcoin is for everyone.

The younger generation are open to adventure more than the older generation and that's why Bitcoin seems to align with the former more. It's not that Bitcoin was originally or intentionally created for any specific generation in mind. Most of those who invested in Bitcoin when it debuted were youths. Old folks are only getting interested as Bitcoin continues to gain traction now. We know how old folks tend to behave with trying out new stuff. They're often skeptic. That skepticism was what greeted Bitcoin in its early stage.

bitcoin doesn't have specification meaning both old and new generation can use and benefit from it, the only thing is that everyone has the right to chose what they want, both the old and the new generation. just that the younger generation are more digital than the old generation who love and prefer to use the physical and traditional way of storing asset which is gold. they find it more convenient and easy to use gold than bitcoin, but that does not mean that bitcoin is only for the younger generation because some old people are also tech savvy and are also enlightened.

i agree with you that the older generation likes the traditional system of asset storage or usage than bitcoin. but like i said it doesn't mean that bitcoin is specifically for younger generation, just that age can sometimes make this older generation to be afraid of online investment,  because the are afraid of security issues or not misplacing their seed which may result to lose of asset. the fact is that the older generation becomes more careful as they age, but they can still use bitcoin.

Bitcoin is designed for anyone that understands how it works regardless of the age you are, the older generation are more familiar with the old traditional way of storing assets and purchasing assets and that is understandable because there wasn't any serious technology in their own time but that doesn't stop them from purchasing Bitcoin if they chose to do so. The younger generation are more into Bitcoin investment because they understand technology better and it is a digital age now and everyone is doing something in line with the digital age, Bitcoin may be for everyone both young and old but the young are more familiar with technology and unlike the older generation, the younger generation like trying new things and exploring their potential.

Everyone have became open to bitcoin when they've started to see that its price is skyrocketing. That's how open they are and the idea of what blockchain is or the technology behind it doesn't matter a lot. An old guy would just give his money if he's seen it with his naked eyes that an asset is moving quickly and people who have invested early on it have made significant profits. So, instead of going with the technology, what it does is making a FOMO scene before they think that it's too late to them. And this is what many of them thinks nowadays, they're too late when they're not yet.

Simply put, you want to try to generalize or perhaps classify that existing technology is more inclined towards young people who are more enthusiastic about it?

However, in this context, this understanding is ultimately a bit misguided. While it is true that in some instances, young people from the Millennial, Gen Z, or even Gen Alpha generations may sometimes prefer technological advancements over their parents, who are often perceived as more conventional, this is not entirely accurate. After all, Bitcoin remains Bitcoin, accessible or obtainable by anyone who is interested in it.

It doesn't matter whether they are old or young, everyone is free to be here because many people who think bitcoin is difficult are simply those who don't understand it and don't want to learn about it. Looking at what happens and what is often felt when you are already involved in bitcoin, it actually seems quite easy to do, but when many people think it is difficult because they don't try to learn and understand more about bitcoin, many young people who are interested in it actually misunderstand it because they think it is more suitable for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not only for the younger generation but i think the younger generation has more opportunities because they have enough time before they reach retirement age which means that they can accumulate a lot of bitcoins before then but just imagine someone that is around 40 years and above and they are just starting their bitcoin accumulation, they won't accumulate much before they reach retirement age and they won't even enjoy their investment. This should also be a wakeup call to enlighten the younger generation about the importance of investing and accumulating bitcoins are their early age so that before the time of old age will approach they will be reaping the proceeds of their investments when they were much younger.

What technology are older people not using? And what is your age definition of older people because the older people I know of are interested in technology but what I will concede with you is that the younger people are interested in gaming, streaming, weird fashion than the older people but in terms of technology many of the mighty technology are owned by people above 45 years.

Bitcoin is for everyone old and young infact the older people find it easier to get interested in bitcoin but many younger people want wealth and not so much of the value bitcoin owns.

Bitcoin is not discriminatory against any age group, gender, beliefs or what have you. It is a technology invented for everyone but aligns more with the younger generation because of the technology involved in it. The technology might not be complex but the older generations have perceived it to be a complex thing and rely more on their traditional methods of banking more. There is this general believe about cryptocurrency to be a cave for scammers and that believe is what has resonated through the minds of many older people, they find it hard to be convinced that Bitcoin is the sure way to embrace in this financial revolutionary era.

I think that one of the best achievement of bitcoin was to have good advantages from the "old economy" or analogic translated directly into the new economy, the digital market.
If an instrument wants to get enough space and become recognized it must be able to have something more, and with bitcoin we had this.
Even if, this tool has not been designed for a specific group of people it has been enough advanced to become a broader instrument that could be used by everyone/without borders or limitations.
Probably this is the real design. No censorship. No limits on transactions.

What makes you feel that the older generation are not part of the whole thing?. I think i would be more surprised to see that someone from this generation and the generation to come, does not know about Bitcoin, than to be surprised to see someone from the older generation. Of course, scepticism should be part of our lifestyle, but it becomes a bit bad if we can't get raid of it to accept the true reality. In as much as so many of them where sceptical at first, a decent number took the risk, and today, Bitcoin has gotten a decent adoption in the world at large. Of course, not everyone would know about this form of technology, but I would be more surprised to see that it is someone from this present era and the next to come.

Bitcoin was never designed with any specification in mind. It was designed to be used by all. Most of the bitcoin OGs literally would be more of the older generations. They were all major contributors in the early days of bitcoin and served it to what it is today. To me I believe the younger generation is just a new era. Yes things changes,time pass but bitcoin is still what it is. So it won't matter what generation might decide to step into play, they would still have to see bitcoin for what it was created for and that is as a decentralised system. 

The old monetary system was filled with failed promises from the government, all go the fulfilment of their own personal gains. Bitcoins creator decided to liberate all from this false system, designed as a cover up for government ugly side..

Bitcoin is the future, it was meant to revolutionized the financial system of which it has done so. The younger generation ae opportune to be born into this era where every financial transaction can be done seamlessly online through Bitcoin and others. Perhaps there was a appeal to younger generation because of the technology. But if you read the whitepaper, there are no mention of Satoshi about who are mostly going to benefit. There could be advantage/disadvantage for both side. One, for older generation, they might be not technically incline, they are not born in the modern era like using smart phones and they are very traditional like using banks or investing in stocks or oil or gold. But there is a solution already as ETH has open doors for this kind of investors. On the other hand, the younger generation, they are fully adept on this new technologies, and we all know that in this era, they are in front of their computer more often, so the "complexities" of Bitcoin like having to hold their private keys and mnemonic phrase are less risky compared to old generation that might see this as very complicated on their end.

I think Satoshi never created bitcoin just for certain people. It’s a thing for everyone, for the old ones and even the young ones. But it just happened that since bitcoin turns an innovation, it was a product of technology, and having this technology is a thing for new generation these days.

I think this a similar topic has been discussed in this platform and the generate numerous discussion in this platform, so sometimes I will advise the beginners to make a use of a search button to cross check their topic to know if a similar topic has been treated before in this forum, because I know quite well that may be I have Encounter a similar discussion in this forum not quite long ago.

But for the aspect of what you asked and what you analyze so far, it is obvious now bitcoin was not meant for any age bracket but the thing that makes bitcoin to look as if it is meant for the young generations, it is because before bitcoin was introduced so many persons who are aged was not having such passion but at this present time they have known the objective of Bitcoin most elderly people is not involved for investing in Bitcoin

So that is the reason why I will not agree that bitcoin is specially meant for young generations, bitcoin is meant for everyone depends what you understand about bitcoin that we motivate you but invest on it, people of 70 years right now is investing in Bitcoin and also people who are 18 years is also investing in Bitcoin so there is no differentiation or age bracket that Bitcoin is practical meant for.

It is looking like the you old were left out and the young people now were the target for bitcoin, but is not true, the target for bitcoin was not for only the young, but for anyone who is able to understand it, be it old or the young. After a while, the present young will become the older generation, and we will have a lot more old persons who know what bitcoin is and are investing/using it.

I don’t think the older generation is that concerned about Bitcoin. They’ve already built their lives, with structured families and an upbringing where hard work was the way of life… but this generation is different. If they don’t learn about Bitcoin, they’re going to suffer a lot, precisely because of the world the previous generation built through hard work. This younger generation isn’t prepared to face the harsh reality of life, if Bitcoin doesn’t save them, most of them are lost… unfortunately.

The older generation is skeptical because of the government neglect and the lack of central controlling body for bitcoin. The tech is a hindrance to its use mostly.  Because they are old they are no longer involved in risky assets and less known assets and obviously not assets that are not liked by the government. They want their last days spent in ease and not in worry.

But the younger generation can take these risks because they have a long life ahead and can be well versed with the tech too.
