I think that many of us do it. The experienced ones wouldn't mind to allot a part of their salaries to bitcoin whether bi-weekly or monthly or every payday.

For me, rather than an inspiring mindset, it's a routine mindset, albeit the right one. I gather you haven't been doing this for very long. But yes, it's better to have a budget or at least an idea in your head of your total income and expenses, and as soon as you get paid, allocate money to assets such as bitcoin, as if it were just another expense, or rather, the most important expense (I'm talking about routine months).

I think many people here have been taking this route. Having a stable job actually makes it easy as you can simply just plan and invest your discretionary money into, that is after you might have taken out all the necessary expenses out. For me I don’t actually wait for any dip because there is no certainty that a certain price is the peak, I just invest the amount every payday which is monthly and for me that’s a perfect DCA method and then there some money that actually do come around once a while this money actually stays idle after clearing a prepared emergency this are the ones that I invest into it when there is a dip.

Before I started with bitcoin, the tradition was to save a percentage of my fiat earnings with the bank. This I keep for future purposes. I grew up with that savings culture. Now that I know about Bitcoin, the mindset hasn't changed. I have my personal business outside this forum that gives me steady income. With that, I save in bitcoins instead because I am sure that such savings will yield returns and will also hedge against inflation.

Well, what you are doing is very good to invest in Bitcoin, through your fixed salary that you save as Bitcoin, and I don't think it is "Monthly Expenses", but it is "Monthly Savings", and I think the more appropriate word is "Future Savings", because it will be very beneficial for you or anyone who does it, especially in the long term to hold. I will also be saving some Bitcoin soon, after I have sorted out some of my financial matters.

Regarding Bitcoin value, it does seem high right now, but we don't know if it will decline or rise, therefore, I feel it is best to continue investing or using DCA as a strategy to avoid missing the bull run, and we can see that some adoption of Bitcoin is starting to spread from various companies, countries or institutions. However, basically everyone has the right to determine how to invest in Bitcoin, but I think the most important thing to remember is to hold Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is not an instant way to make a profit or benefit, it takes time.

Are there really bitcoin enthusiasts who have stable sources of income but don't find it neccessary investing part of their income? It's kind of strange to me. I am assuming they ain't truly bitcoin enthusiasts, maybe some guys who just want to associate with the bitcoin community for some benefits like the politicians do.

I have no excuse not to invest in bitcoin when I already have a job that pays me well. I am currently on my investment journey and I am going to make it a part of me to always invest in bitcoin.

I don't set aside a portion just for investing in Bitcoin. Where I live, there are some very interesting investments to consider for the long term as well. I've read many experts and people who have achieved high financial success talking about this investing mentality, the famous "pay yourself first" concept mentioned in the books "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "The Richest Man in Babylon."

How do you plan to invest if not from your salary? Everybody here knows how to balance their income and expenses, some months can be crowded with expenses while some may be less or most persons do well using intervals for their investment, it's all about proportioning your income to solve every expenses, including reserving some funds. This is a Bitcoin forum, and i believe some way or another, each and everyone should have a way of accumulating Bitcoin.

This applies to most people. You have basically no choice but to invest if you want a retirement when you are done working. You can barely survive on the benefits which are given by the government.

However most people just use a financial adviser to do their investing. Investing is way too complicated for most people. And honestly you are better off having a financial adviser then Day trading on your own.

But, sometime it feels really draining because even you have the money, you will refrain yourself to spend your money to make you happy, even though it's included as unnecessary spending.

It all depends on each person's beliefs. For those who are already involved in bitcoin or are investing in bitcoin, they will have the same mindset that bitcoin will always be a very good alternative for investment and as a hedge against the economy they have. But in the end, not everyone can realize this mindset because everyone has their own goals, and we are certainly aware that not everyone likes bitcoin.

Therefore, in this case, the conditions you described, OP, will only apply to those who actually like Bitcoin, but not to those who still do not want Bitcoin because, after all, being in Bitcoin certainly requires paying attention to several aspects, including in terms of belief and strength in holding on.
It might be ideal for us to have a steady income and use DCA as a means to accumulate Bitcoin, but this mindset will clearly not be accepted by those who still doubt Bitcoin, let alone those who hate it.

I never really understood Bitcoin to be such a valuable asset until I got here in the forum and since then I've come to appreciate it so much and made provisions to steadily accumulate it for myself. I have adopted the DCA strategy since it's what I can sustain with my little discretionary funds. Hopefully after 2 cycles I would've accumulated a good quantity of Bitcoin and would want it to stay longer in my portfolio. I believe that Bitcoin is the key to a brighter financial future, good thing I'm still very young, so I'll accumulate and hold for quite a long time.

In conventional finance they refer to it as DCA, and it performs well with assets that fluctuate greatly but increase in the long-term.

It's not in fact at its peak. The peak was 124k USD, so if you used the DCA method, you were buying at 108k, 110k and so on, and we're now at 114k. So on one hand you are up on your recent purchases, on the other still quite a bit from the top. Keep stacking and don't worry! What's worst thing that can happen? Bitcoin retests $100k and goes back up and you'll get some cheap coins, or it will go to a new high and you'll be able to spend some of your profit. You win in both situations. The biggest threat for a long term stacker/hodler is keeping your coins safe.

The goal and target you have set for yourself is very important to achievement.

Many people who call themselves investors have not set any target from themselves, so they will regularly find themselves struggling when investments and will most times feel unmotivated because they have no end goal and no targets. Targets and goals should never be underestimated and just as OP has mentioned, they can contribute a real driving force to motivation towards continuous investments by keeping you focused on what you need to do so you do not squander money unnecessarily on wants that will always come and not needs.

If you do DCA from not just your salary but other sources, investing in bitcoin becomes like a second nature to you. In my estimation, I do not even need to have a stable job. Once my skill set is getting the right attraction and attention it needs from customers, I am all set. It even keeps my mind at ease without having to worry too much at it at all times. This is what works for me and may be different for the other people. We should start thinking "multiple sources of income".
