I have known you as a respected high profile person of this reputable forum and someone that do not stack up merits for himself, rather you send out merits fairly to good posters. Same here I thought he was a merit source, this shows how good you are in giving merit to good posts and if you are not a merit source and you share merit to good posts the way you do what will now happen if you are made a merit source that simply means you will do your duty very well as a merit source, I'm happy you even applied for merit source because we need more merit source and this time we need people that can easily identify a very good post and merit them and I believe you will handle the job very well if given an opportunity and for that I'm in support for you to be made a merit source in this forum you deserve it.

Each time I see the fox🦊pup's merit cycling club, I think all are merit source before they can be qualified to be one lolz, but seeing this application makes me know that not all merit cycling 🦊 club members are merit source. Becoming a Merit source will fit your gang and Also make the club more fun as it implies "merit cycling club"  good luck@Apogio! You are an established member and that is not what we should debate about because everybody knows that you are.

Sometimes I see some posts but I may not have merit at the time. The first month I was made a merit source, I bookmarked around 40 posts left to be given merit, but I later was still unable to merit them because my merit allocation is not enough. I will also like theymos to increase the merit allocation.

But about you to become a merit source, I know that you can do the work perfectly on technical boards.

Sure theymos need to increase merit's allocation for now active new merit's sources and most of the old merit's sources are not as active in the forum loke they use to be so merit's cyculation is a bits slow with several posts that are worth meriting but are left unmerited, I have noticed the decline in merit awards since some prominent campaigns exit the forum or get stopped so those OGs merit's sources become very in active some just come online spend few minutes then go offline again since their don't have much task in the forum.
This is effecting Forum merits supply greatly, for that reason both to increase merit's allocation and approve new merit's sources application line this one from apogio, I have read several of his posts and I can say he covers multiple boards so he is experienced enough to be a good merit's source.

This forum is very large to the extent that you will be here and so many discussion will be on going and you will not notice on time..I did notice this thread earlier...

But it's surprising that you're not a source, if you tells me that on a private discussion I will disagree with you, that you're not a source...The way you dispense Smerit I thought you have been a merit source long ago....

I wonder if you're a merit source adding with your benevolent lifestyle of dispensing merit, that means many people will be happy with you...

Let me use this opportunity to say that you are more qualified to be a source, because the method of your Smerit distribution to some posts I come across you merited is cool to me.

I don't actually know the reason why theymos hasn't approved his application but I believe this user is quality enough to have a source which he would be that willing to be distrusting to community which he wouldn't see it as tasks to something to be rewarded thereafter. As I know to become a merits source is a self willingness to how people think of rending help to community which comes with not benefits just a dedication to the community and the true vision we have towards the development. As a matter of fact we are the preachers of Bitcoin and it's related branches which from the users around can actually feels the dedication and commitment.
However, I do support your application with all my power and good luck.

theymos has an overview of the statistics of the entire forum, including the number of posts and the number of merits shared, and based on that he concludes whether there is a need for a new merit source, there is nothing personal about it (whether he likes a certain member more or less).
If the need for a new merit source arises, due to the reduced volume of merits shared, I believe theymos checks the current applications for the merit source and selects the most qualified candidates.
Approval of new merit sources is generally not automatic, but always awaits a decision, depending on the situation on the forum.
In any case, I wish the OP good luck in applying for the merit source.

I don't think there is any much requirement in applying for a merits source application.. however, whomever that is basically chance and distribute their merits wisely can apply for a merits source application including you and I.
And nevertheless, it's not much neither does it require a lot of things to apply for a merits source application, again since the new approval of merit the rate of distribution has been fair for now or is currently circulating well, except for the board and areas that doesn't receive merits or are lacking source they could approve anyone who applied for that section to become source.
